Ozland Transfer

Booking the pick up and drop off itself was very easy via Whatsapp and we were given a good rate for the distance. Driver arrived only 5 minutes late which is completely understandable with the traffic.The driver did not speak english so we used translate to talk about pick up time and payment. He wanted full payment after drop off which is unusual (most places want half at pick up, the remainder at drop off) but we obliged. Up to this point there was no problems. Actually, the driver told us that we are “nice people” on google translate.

However, after drop off at our hotel - the driver kept asking us to pay him and was telling the hotel staff in turkish that we didn’t pay him!

Fortunately I messaged the booking Whatsapp that we gave the driver €50 right after we paid so I showed the staff this text. The hotel staff explained this, the driver got angry saying we didn’t pay. He then went to get his wallet to show to the hotel staff and when he actually checked it, the €50 we gave was there. I’m not sure if he was just tired or forgetful but it made us feel uncomfortable. There was no goodbye or thanks at the end of the trip - just an accusation. The hotel staff apologised multiple times about this interaction as he felt bad.

The transfer was very well organised and comfortable, driving was great. Driver very polite. Thank you very much!
