Cheaper and better than grand bazaar. Not too far from grand bazaar. Has everything that the grand bazaar has. Shop keepers are more friendlier as well.
Show more...Taxi driver recommended us this place to shop and so glad we took his advice. We had lunch in the local Café (lunch cost for 3 was £7.50) and shopped till we dropped! Grand bazaar is overpriced and wouldn’t go there at all.
You can buy everything. bought some great trainer socks from wholesalers that were cotton (ask for pamu) socks not polyester! Pamu means cotton.
Get ready to haggle and enjoy the shopping experience don’t be phased if the shopkeepers raise their voices it’s all drama we either walked away or they called us back. So much of the same stuff so have a go at haggling but keep a price that you’re prepared to pay. If it’s too much walk away until you find something that works for you. Simples!
Cheaper then The Grand Bazaar
Prices were mostly fixed
No easy bargain .
If ur just interested in clothes I would suggest you rather hit a mall n choose the Turkish brands
I had a terrible experience at Mahmut Pasa bazaar yesterday! I accidentally dropped my purse at a shop named Dolfini Esarp in Mahmut Pasa and the salesgirl refused to give me it back. She refused to show us the camera images! It had money, bank cards, medical cards, ID and other important things! Am completely disappointed and disgusted as the police didn't help on this either! I don't recommend this market! It's a scam

Maybe it’s the heat here in June , I was excited to locate the Pasha Bazaar but deeply disappointed. With Turkish Lira at a low 17.10 against the dollar , merchants were hiking up prices. One top my wife looked at was 6,000 Turkish Lira . The Fake merchandise is not something we into at all, this was a no name brand elegant top but 6,000 lira was daylight robbery. Most merchants were sending out associates to solicit our biz , once we got to the stores in question they didn’t have what we where looking for . Then they actually got upset at US . Using a walking cane due to my injuries I was utterly disappointed. It’s not worth my time or effort .
Show more...Inside the Grand Bazaar we found an amazing air conditioned Spice /Tea store. OTTOMAN 1299 located inside the Grand Bazaar . Owner EMRE CANBAZ made us tea , served Turkish delights and was very helpful. We spent money there and do recommend a visit. Tell him Omar & Zaza send our best 🤗 will upload a picture for sure.
Taking a taxi was another Fiasco . Had no idea that Ordu street was closed off , so taxis were refusing to drive us . I will not recommend Double Tree by Hilton on Ordu Cassessi No.31 . Poor service, dirty carpets . Just felt weird in there. Early check out straight to the airport .
