I thoroughly enjoyed my tasting with Heidi! She was working with at least 8 people at the counter and still took the time to explain each flavor of cider she served. She asked for the sale when we were done with the tasting but wasn’t aggressive or pushy. Although the cider’s a little pricey, I bought the 3 pack with glasses, choosing pineapple, blueberry, & watermelon, mostly because of the excellent service Heidi provided. I’ll definitely visit again the next time I’m in Gatlinburg.

Myself and two others visited the location in downtown Gatlinburg the day before last and had an amazing experience! We did the $5 VIP tasting which allowed us to try the 6 hard ciders they have on tap, as well as a few of their wines. Everything was delicious! The customer service was the cherry on top of the whole experience. We were helped by the wonderful Heidi. She was upbeat, personable, and knowledgeable about each of the drinks we sampled. Not only that, but she was able to help multiple groups at once without making you feel rushed or left out. I highly recommend making the Tennessee Cider Company a priority when you visit Gatlinbug; and if you go to the one in downtown, ask if Heidi is thereYou're sure to have a wonderful experience!

Let me start by saying I am not a cider drinker at all. BUT this place is awesome! The bartenders and staff is amazing. You can pay to sample all their different flavors and be assigned to a specific bartender, which I would recommend.

Katey and Will helped us my wife and I, and we had the best time just enjoying the atmosphere. Honestly they were so friendly it was like having a conversation with old friends. We wound up buying a bottle of cider because of how great their service wasnot to mention the product itself is quite good!

We would stop in every time we are visiting Gatlinburg, just to say ‘hi’ to our new friends, who wouldn’t remember us from Adam - ha!

Excellent cider. All of the ciders are very good. A little pricey however.
Heidi was a bit rude. She knows the product, but she is short on people skills. She was worried about grabbing people as they came in the door, but was in no hurry to finish with the customers she was already with. She would get you committed, then put you aside to take on new people coming in, then give you very short answers with a bit of attitude. We went in twice during our vacation and she did that to us both times. Both times we waited between tasting so she could take on new customers. She would walk away from us, greet them, explain everything to them, give them their first taste, then come back to us, pour another flavor, then go away again. She did this several times. What should have been a 10 - 15 minute tasting took about 45 mins. There were others working there so we figured it was a commission thing and she wanted to get them before anyone else did. She did that during a refill for us as well. She would pour some in the bottle, then go do a tasting, come back, pour again, than leave, do another flavor for someone, then come back and pour a little more. What could we do? We couldn't just leave, she had our bottle that we already paid for. Once again there were 2 others working but she was catching new people as they came in before anyone else could. When we go back on our next trip, if she is there and no one else is available, we will just skip that stop. We love the cider, but it just isn't worth being pushed aside like that.

Downtown Gatlinburg, Tennessee continues to evolve over time and anyone who walks down the streets of this tourist town will find a good variety of things to see and do. There are more boozy options now than in the past and one establishment that you’ll want to take time to visit is Tennessee Cider Company.

Tennessee Cider is located inside the Mountain Mall and is arguably the standout attraction in this downtown mall. The cidery has knowledgeable employees who are ready to pour you cider and discuss the different flavors and qualities of each. Just step up to the bar, grab a glass, start tasting and start learning.

When I was here, I did an extended sampler and as I recall, the ciders I tried were golden apple, pineapple, blueberry, watermelon, caramel apple, and spiced apple. I found them all quite good, none too harsh or tangy and even though they leaned in a sweet direction, they were not excessively sweet. The golden apple was my personal favorite but I liked them all.

One attractive feature that makes Tennessee Cider a must visit is the fact that tastings are offered free! Yes, you only get a small taste but it’s free so there is nothing not to like. If you want to try more for a small fee, you certainly can and I recommend doing so. There are lots of good ciders here and the four they serve as part of the free tasting isn’t nearly enough. You really need to try more to find ones that you like best. They have a couple wines and meads of their own, too, definitely worth a taste.

Tennessee Cider sells bottled ciders to go and once you taste what they offer, don’t be surprised if you don’t end up grabbing a few for enjoyment later. It turned out to be one of the highlights of my Gatlinburg visit and a place I recommend to everyone.

My wife and I stopped in Tennessee Cider Company today. I did the $5, 8 sample tasting, and my wife did the free, 3 sample tasting. Our server was Teresa and we had a blast. We enjoyed them all and ended up buying 6 bottles as well as a mix to make a frozen drink at home. Great time and great products.

Heidi was our bartender for the VIP tasting and she made sure that we knew all about what we were trying and explained each flavor very well. She was so sweet and personable and even just the few minutes we were with her we had such a great time in the store. Every time we come we have to make sure to grab a bottle of the golden apple! Strawberry was a huge contender though! Heidi was great at explaining the prices and promotions going on and we ended up with 12 bottles of cider and even got an amazing discount that made it 100% worth it. Had to stock up while we were there! We will definitely be back next time we are in Gatlinburg!

We went into this place just to browse but after being greeted by Dani, my wife decided to sample all of the different flavors. Dani was great at describing the flavors and recommending her favorites. The warm Tennessee hospitality from the folks here was a breath of fresh air as we are Florida natives and used to dealing with rude a** snow birds this time of year back home. We ended up buying a six bottle variety mix of the ciders because they were so good that my wife couldn't decide on just one. Plus, you get a good discount for buying six. We highly recommend swinging in this place if ya'll are ever in the area. You'll love it.

Carrie’s amazing knowledge of the ciders were mind blowing. If Popcorn Sutton had a daughter this would be her. Her country accent made us feel like we were in the heart of The Great Smoky Mountains. Her southern charm and hospitality will encourage us to head back and recommend our friends and family.

The ciders were all great, my favorite was peach, it doesn't have a super strong peach flavor, but is still really good. My least favorite was watermelon, but I usually don't care for watermelon. Paying $5 to try everything was totally worth the money, especially since you can try the mead and port wines. My parents were with me and aren't cider people and they bought 2 growlers (pineapple and strawberry) Heidi was our bartender/server/helper and was nice, helpful, and knowledgeable about all of the products. If you like cider and are in the Gatlinburg area Tennessee Cider Company is definitely worth trying!
