The gift shop is a great experience; filled with plenty of wine-related gifts and Smoky Mountain memories. The rich history of Gatlinburg will be showcased on our labels as well as throughout our guided tours. Our staff are all very vibrant, knowledgeable, and cannot wait to help all of our visitors experience the sights and tastes that Sugarland Cellars has to offer! First off, let me say their wine is very good. It's not just a strong dose of sugar like many other wineries in Gatlinburg.

The reason I am giving a low rating is because the tasting was miserable because it was so disorganized. We opted to do a full wine tasting, which we paid for. It's a total of 11 wines to taste. It took us 40 minutes to get thru half of the tasting. We finally just opted to drink 2 wines we wanted to try and end our tasting early.

Here's the problem. Disorganization. Our lady was running multiple tastings all at different intervals of their lists. She was taking waiting lists of new people coming in. She was taking orders and checking people out, and she was cleaning.

There was another lady doing tastings at other end of the bar. And one lady doing random things.

A little restructuring would do wonders. Keep everyone on the same tasting interval. Have certain roles for employees.

I will say our server was very nice. But over 40 minutes for a tasting is unacceptable.

My wife and I went in here and received excellent service from Megan. She was very knowledgeable about all of the wines and even had a little story about each wine and Where the names come from. I would absolutely recommend this winery. Prices were a little bit high but they donate $5 from every bottle to a foundation that helps out the Great Smokey Mountains.

April was awesome. Pretty sure anyone could have got the deal we got on wine but she was very friendly and explained the wine flavors extremely well. Also mentioned cooking tips using the wine. Overall very nice experience .

We have been following Megan since she was at mil bridge winery. She has grown so quickly with this company and to see how much she truly enjoys her job is an amazing thing to witness. We visit often and love to do our tastings with her. Sometimes she isn’t on the bar but always makes time to see how we have been and makes us feel like we are family. This is why we are wine club members cause people like her making us feel like we are family.

My husband and I recently stopped in here on our honeymoon. Jesse was the gentleman that helped us out that day. He was very kind and knowledgable about the wines they had to offer and was able to answer all of our questions! We found many wines here that we both enjoyed! They do have more dry wines and then of course, sweet. We found it difficult to find many wineries in Gatlinburg that sold dry wine! Would definitely recommend stopping in here if you are ever in the area!

Jesse was awesome, gave us great advice for wine based on what I like to drink and everything tasted like how he described. I picked up a bottle of Elkmont. Sweet-Fruity front with a tart aftertaste makes you want to drink one more sip until the bottom of the glass is pointing at the ceiling! Great place, great people, and great wine

First, I cannot even begin to say what a life saver Mandi was. My brother and I walked in frazzled from a large family photo that involved matching t-shirts, and the Man-di knew how to hook us up. We were laughing, trying wine and had a completely awesome experience. The wine was excellent and the people working were even better. 10/10 recommend! I also purchased the white wine slushee to make at home, we are excited to drink it!

Loved our wine tasting with Jesse! He was very friendly and knowledgeable about the wines and very careful to ensure we had nice clean glasses. I also appreciated that all the staff was wearing a mask or face covering. Will definitely return to buy a bottle of the Baskins Creek Blanc - by the far the best of our tasting selection.

First trip to Gatlinburg. Also happens to be our honeymoon. Covid can’t stop these lovebirds! We stopped into Sugarland Cellars and had phenomenal service, quality wine and a competitive game of checkers. Thank you Mandi for the great service and local insider knowledge!
