I have read the reviews and did so before I went. They are mixed and I think the negative reviews are unfair and largely down to expectations. Turkey is a developing country, which relies heavily on tourism as part of its economy. We are the reason that water parks exist, not because of the locals. To say that it is bad that the locals are charged a different rate is ignorant of the general economic situation. Anyway, makes no difference to me as I am happy to pay to support their economy, it helps them and means that it will still be here when I return. The park itself is clean and based on a place called Sojurn, in Magnavat. We stayed at the Ramada and I was told it was two local buses (one to Sojurn and one to Magnavat), as there were nine in our group was cheaper to hire a taxi. We got he here at 1030 and it was quiet, which was surprising as Google said it would be busy. Anyway, it made life easy for us. My family (2 adults and three children) were charged 80 euros, you are given a band which you top up with currency to use around the park. The changing rooms have lockers with keys (you do not have to pay to use). The park got busier in the afternoon and for an hour I did notice some hogging of the slide floats. But this was short lived as people started to leave. The prices are reasonable (95 lira for cheeseburger meal) and therefore you do not have to leave. It is true the water in the kids area was colder, but it was 34 degrees so nobody was bothered. It has plenty of slides and enough deck chairs to allow you to relax in the shade. We spent the day here and I am not disappointed. It’s clean, the slides are staffed and I was happy to leave my kids on their own. For what we paid, the kids enjoyed themselves and were well fed. I could not ask for more.
Show more...Just returned from a day spent here, 2 adults and an 11 and 13 yr old, and really enjoyed it. There are a good range of slides, not huge but enough to keep you entertained for a day.
There's also a water park for younger children but we didn't use it.
Food options for lunch not huge - range from burgers to pasta to salads - all really good value at 30 Turkish lira each including a drink.
Entrance for the 4 of us was 220 lira, so again, very good value.
We went on a Friday and it wasn't very busy, no real queues for the slides.
Felt safe, plenty of staff.
You pay for food and drinks on a band which you load up with cash at the entrance, anything left is refunded when you leave - works really well.
Overall, definitely worth a visit, I would highly recommend
The slides and splash areas for children are fantastic in this water park. I visited with my 10 years old son and 8 years old daughter. They absolutely loved it, so did I, and even for smaller children there was so much to do!
We paid 65euros for the 3 of us. The refreshments in the park were quite expensive. 3 euros for a drink coffe or ice cream.
Towels were not provided.
It is a cahless park. You get a wrist Band and load money on it pre-entry, which you can spend while in the park. They redund the left over in cash.
Our biggest complaint, however, was the very slippery floor. They have some non slip mats but they are very hard on feet so many kids walk/run on the slippery floor and fall! My daughter fell twice, my son once, but we have seen so many kids crying after falls it was unreal. At one spot blood was left on the floor after a fall. They should really sort the floors out or get softer mats.
Thankfully, my kids falls were not serious and we could enjoy this park. We would return due to the great slides/facilities but I hope they will do some improvement with the floors!
Great family day out close to our hotel. The hotel wasnt sure if it was open but we took a chance as the facebook page suggestedit was. Reasonable price £55 euro for 2 adults + 1 child (much cheaper than a trip to land of legends was going to be). Lots of slides for young and older kids. The toddler splash section wasn't working though. The water was cold but it was fine in the hot weather. Reasonable number of sun beds in shaded areas. It was really quiet so we didn't have to que for anything. Drinks and ice creams were cheap. Lockers were included and decent changing rooms. There is a nice row of shops outside too.
Show more...My kids and I enjoyed ourselves in the park. There are many different slides. The pricet thay charge is 20 euro for kids and 35 for an adult.
The toilets are horrible, smelly and not clean. You must also be prepared for a cold shower before/afrer - remember to bring your own soap and shmpoo.
Only good thing was the slides and life guards but the slides closed for lunch!!!
Website said entrance was 700tl we were charged 900tl each!! We arrived at opening time and the floors still had cigarette butt's, bottle caps and other rubbish everywhere, the food and beverage prices are expensive, some of the staff are rude!!
The worst part was the toilets.. I used the toilet on arrival and they were already absolutely disgusting and no toilet paper.. They are a health hazard!! I definitely wouldn't return or recommend Aquajoy, save your money and health!!
We arrived early around 11 and the park was fairly quiet and it got busier after 1.30, so best to go early. My youngest (3 years old) did not like the kid section as it had so many fountains and water spraying everwhere, was abit to intense i think not very ideal for young kids and toddlers. My older kids 7 and 11 years old loved the slides as did I. The spash area wasnt working, would have given 5* if the kid section was better
Show more...Arrived for when the park opened at 10.
I had researched the admission price and was told it was double for tourists. No negotiating, they wouldn’t budge. Other families walked away! So 700 lira for an adult to enter. We’d promised the kids a day in the water park so in we went!
Taking into account we arrived when the park opened it was filthy, cigarette butts and general grub on the floors. We were sticking to the floor as we walked.
Toilets were smelly and clearly hadn’t been cleaned over night.
The selection of flumes are good. All open and functioning. The life guards were all fantastic, friendly and we felt safe with them.
Whilst we did honestly have a good day I would not return. I feel ripped off by the admission fee and the cleanliness was not good at all.
We enjoy with this trip in aqua joy sun rises pool very good and aqua park are awesome totally Hotel is excellent. Food is good we enjoyed here with animation team they make different program every day. They also have great aqua for kids will back again

Positives
Rides are good.
Pool area big
Plenty of shade and sun bed
Drinks cheap
Attentive lifeguards
Negatives
Deal we had with entrance ticket included a meal - five choices. Food was rank no chance of upgrading and covered in sauces. Cakes my daughters hot dog in mustard and when complained the chef merely run the source under the tap!
Small food area quickly overcrowded and chaotic when the slides closed between 12:30 and 1:30pm.
Cash free, given a wristband but not told you need to load it up, (would suggest putting on no more than the equivalent of £5 on one wrist band - you won’t spend it!)
Wouldn’t recommend the experience and would say 2/3 hours max is all you need should you choose to undergo this water park. I’m sure there are better elsewhere in the Side/Antalya area
