We're driven by the belief that you can only keep discovering if you keep looking ... so we're always adding interesting stores and traders. No two days are ever the same at Camden Market. Keep checking back to see what's new and what's next.
Show more...Was OK for a day out, though personally I don’t think I would want to go again. I found it all very expensive, though my daughter liked the Jeans shop where you could pick up a pair of Levi’s for £15. Food was a bit limited, I am on a low carb diet so can’t have pasta, rice, potatoes or bread, so didn’t have anything to eat! Whilst we were there we took a very nice trip down the canal on The Music Boat, Where we were serenaded by an excellent singer who played his guitar. A lovely 45 minute trip.
Show more...Was not impressed, stalls are mostly schlocky stuff you can buy anywhere. There are a lot of eateries but most of the seating is outside. We visited on a weekday in January and it was so crowded I would not want to come on a Saturday. Not sure what all the hype is about.
Show more...Massive, so much to see and so much to do we went on a Friday morning was very busy lots of people around.
Plenty to buy and to eat and a great day out, lots of nooks and you might find yourself doubling back on yourself
Some beautiful artwork on the older buildings too.
Definitely recommend for a good day out for any budget.
Disappointed to be honest, I was expected a old style market with good deals in. Most markets are fixed buildings with very over priced item for sale. I didn’t actually seen anyone buy anything.
Would return for the atmosphere of the area but not the markets
Really concerned to see the behaviour of food sellers in the Asian alley section of Camden Market today.
We are in the middle of a pandemic, locked-down in tier 4 and I saw vendors on two different stalls holding out food with tongs for passers by to taste!
This is crazy. This virus as we know can spread from hand to hand from person to person and yet they are behaving recklessly! Anybody can touch the serving tongs with their hands and many many people pass through this market daily.
These same tongs no doubt go back into the cooked food trays and serving containers cross contaminating the meals being served. This is outrageous!
Camden Market is a major public space in London and needs to stop all sampling/tastings immediately!
They must take their responsibility seriously to control the spread of this virus and the misery it is causing to everyone's lives.
Dissapointing Camden Market!
Buzzing with atmosphere so
Vibrant lots of really quirky shops with great artisan stock lots of really different things to buy . The place is buzzing with atmosphere lots of great photo opportunities statues . So many place to eat lots of street stalls selling food from everywhere around the world lots of bars set along side the canal
Highly recommend a trip here the people watching is also great
I went there with a friend 2 weeks ago, I thought most of the stalls at the market were tacky, expensive and for tourists from other countries. I enjoyed the thai food in the food stalls and the cookie dough stall called Naked Dough. The vagina museum was also interesting. I'm in no rush to go back though.
Show more...Offers various types of international cuisine via food trucks, eclectic shops and outdoor vendors, and great people watching. We were looking for concert shirts to bring back home and one of our tour guides recommended that we go. It didn't disappoint!
Show more...10 minutes on the underground from the city centre is Camden Town and Market. The area is very Hip and Bohemian. Lots of street art (tasteful, not tags or graffiti). The market itself wasa good size with so many warrens and quirky stalls, sellers etc. It can be a pick pockets paradise given the narrow alleys and large crowds but other than that, the whole vibe is a relaxed one.
There is lots to see and a few eateries. CyberDog is worth a visit (you will know when you have found it) lol.
I am not sure what I expected but left feeling that I had "done" it but was not memorable. Don't think I would return but if you have a travel pass and a spare hour, get yourself along :)

Blimey, what on Earth has happened to the place?? I used to visit here a lot with friends around 25 years ago. The High Street now has wall-to-wall shops selling key ring landfill cr@p. As for The Market, well it used to hip and cool with loads of second hand clothes and furniture stalls in the old stable courtyard and really cheap world food to be enjoyed on the move. Now all the stalls are in purpose built pods, the rent of which has pushed prices through the roof. Maybe a victim of the modern Health & Safety culture or just plain greed? Who knows.
Show more...But, trust me on this one; it is a shadow of its former self and no longer has the same chilled vibe. Shame.
