Full of blithering idiots intent on catching and/or spreading Coronavirus. Also lots of dogs and people on those electric scooter things. The only saving grace is that it does have toilets, and although it only costs 20p that still seems to keep most of the riff-raff out.

The views of London are fine.

Go on a sunny day when you can really take it all in. This is how parks in Central London used to be. Be wary as there are some super steep slopes there that are not for the faint hearted but the views towards the city are epic. Plus the Maritime Museum is located at one end of the park which is also a pretty cool place to visit.

This is a wonderful place to walk and enjoy the collection of magnificent mature English trees. There are certain vantage points in the park that provide outstanding opportunities to view the incredible City of London skyline. It has everything for nature lovers and families. I would highly recommend a visit.

I grew up in the road alongside the park, so was excited to return today after so many years living at the other end of the country .

Had an awful coffee in the cafe at sticky table but was keen to visit the Flower Garden and deer. The garden was all locked up, with a notice saying it was closed due to the high winds, which had subsided by today. However we could walk under other trees throughout the park, which were for some reason less risky! We are here for a further day, so really hope it opens

Lovely park with lots of space for picnics and kite flying etc. You can also work up to the prime meridian. There are lots of paths but some are very steep but there are suitable paths for wheelchairs.
What stands out are the best views of London, you can see Canary Wharf, the O2, the city and even the BT tower plus the naval college etc.
Easily accessible by boat or DLR (Cutty Sark or Greenwich) plus buses

I must admit, I was rather excited to go to Greenwich Park, particularly for the time ball. This was a massive disappointment. I understand the history and meaning behind it, but does it deserve 50,000 tourists watching it at one in the afternoon? As soon as it dropped, we all thought the same: ‘Is that it?’ The park is nice, but a steep hill is a bit of a killer, and there aren’t many signs from Cutty Sark DLR station. Greenwich itself is nice also, but I wouldn’t give more than three hours in Greenwich Park, or seven fro Greenwich itself. The observatory is good, but their queuing system is a bit to be desired. The hype is false.

How many city parks in the world can claim to have World Heritage status? Nothing comes to mind but Greenwich ain't no ordinary park.

To start with, historically it goes way back in time to Romans and Vikings. Its strategic location overlooking the river below made it important for naval purposes which is why all the maritime related establishments are located in and around the park.

Then later it wasn't just a hunting ground for the royals to chase deer but this is where many kings, queens were born, got married and died. It's also a place for astronomical research, The Royal Observatory and home to the GMT aka Greenwich Mean Time, the place that sets the time for rest of the world. In recent times, many many big and small movies have been shot here and there's also a oak tree lying somewhere that is 800 years old.

From archeology, history to great views, I guess it's little more than just a park for the picnic.

Went during the school holidays just before lunch time and had no trouble parking at all. Bit of an issue with the pay and display machine keep freezing on me but after calling the number the man was very helpful and it was all sorted. Shame you can only park here for 4 hours as we would have definitely stayed longer. We came for the play park and had a wonderful time. It’s so well planned out with lots of shade and so many different sections to keep kids entertained for hours. The sand sections are brilliant so remember your bucket and spade. It’s incredibly clean and nothing is damaged or dirty. Even the toilets were clean. Shame the little coffee kiosk was closed though. Long difficult walk back up the hill but such fantastic views over the city it’s worth it. We will be back soon

Whenever we are down visiting family and if the weather is okay we come here. It is lovely walking through the park and you can get an amazing view of the City of London and Greenwich. The park is very well maintained. Just a delight to visit

Hadn't visited this park before and always wanted to. Great views over London. Very busy on a hot May Saturday, but we bought some drinks and nibbles from a nearby shop and enjoyed a few hours here. There was a museum and placards to tell you more about the history but we didn't visit these.
