Public areas are very clean. Rooms are well presented and clean. Customer services were excellent on check-in. Buffet selection was great, paying for the Al a carte restaurant was annoying as it was basically the same food served in the buffet restaurant IMHO. We went at the start of the season (mid May) sunbeds were plentiful however during the 2 weeks we were there it became a bit more problematic. Massive complex be very careful if you have mobility issues (Customer service helped Us out big style) you might not be so lucky. Staff were great if tipping is your thing then they are brilliant (lol). Disappointed with the information for the boat shuttle service to Fethyie, We could have had a better trip with more direction, ok we didn't ask for any granted. If you're celebrating a special occasion let them know, much appreciated Birthday Surprise. Plentiful supply of drinks and food and hopefully sunshine

Beautiful hotel in stunning surroundings. Rooms clean, facilities good. Food was really nice and varied. It is quite a distance from airport which is the only drawback. Good daytime activities and evening entertainment was ok. Staff pleasant and helpful.

First time in Turkey, we wanted to choose a resort with enough activities for the family, good sea swimming, and near a town. The experience was better than we expected and one of the best family holidays ever. Very similar in layout and scenery to Windjammer St Lucia. A mass of daytime and evening activites. Food: Constant throughout the day and good food. Buffet food was all more than adequate with vast choice. The stars were the 'pop-ups' for example the Turkish pancakes, afternoon sweet treats, Juice and milkshake bar. Drinks were different and variable across the bars but service was always fast and polite and everyone found their mocktail or cocktail of choice. This isn't 5* cocktails but more than adequate. We tried the Chinese and the Fish a la cartes, both were very good with very intimate service, a nice break from the buffets, highly recommend both. Activities: we didn't do any of the evening shows. absolute highlight: PILATES AND YOGA CLASSES. On a tree-canopied platform overlooking the sea, with a brilliant lady instructor. For her alone, we will rebook next year. Unlike most resorts which offer 1 class a day, she had about 5 varied classes a day. Her cheery smile, gentle encouragement and enthusiasm were fantastic. Whole families, all ages would join. Highly recommended. Classes in English. Book on arrival, not before. Watersports - the only staff who were not mega-enthusiastic? They were okay but jobsworth "we're closing at X hour" was their main interaction. They need more SUP paddles! There were about 5, and about 10 paddleboards. SUP, Kayaks, pedaloes all free. Opening hours could be extended - do they need a 2 hour lunchbreak? Could they not stagger this to avoid a rush of people at 2pm? Calm decent sized bay for beginners - advanced people might find this limiting. 16 minimum age to take out a solo kayak or SUP. Boat to town: this is a brilliant hourly service that drops you in the centre. Safe scenic trip in 15 minutes. Well worth taking. You can also taxi in or back for about Euro 7 which might be cheaper if there are 4 of you. Main advantages of this resort: 1. Safety. We all felt completely safe around the resort with teenagers doing their own thing. You don't need to carry any money as it's all inclusive. There were plenty of staff to help who spoke multiple languages. 2. Variety. I didn't see a bored person of any age. Multi-generation groups had grandad playing competitive boules on the beach, teenagers playing friendly beach volleyball and the small kids loving the waterslides and entertainers. 3. Scenery. The peninsular setting is awesome. The sunrise from Sunrise beach was worth getting up for - a wave to those few of us on the swimming pontoon on Sunrise Beach at 7.30am. There is an army of staff cleaning dropped petals and tidying bushes every day - it's a remarkably clean and tidy resort for the number of people and thanks to all of them. Having 3 beach areas means you have a choice of view and can move with the sun/shade during the day if you want. 4. Rooms. Are a decent size, everything works, bathrooms clean and plumbing works well considering most rooms are up hillsides no issues with water pressure in showers or AirCon. Cleaning good. 5. Location. We booked direct, and took BA flights from Heathrow, the hotel arranged a private taxi for us, all worked smoothly 40 minutes or so from the airport. 10 minutes drive into town centre. Stunning mountains, sunrises. Fethiye was less high-rise and tacky than other Turkish seaside towns I think. 6. Clientele. Mainly English / German / Eastern European. I hesitate to say more than Eastern European as I am not 100pct sure on the languages I heard spoken. All ages and families / couples / friends groups. Everyone was polite to each other - queuing if needed at bars or the egg counter at breakfast etc was fine. Women treated well. Muslim families treated well. Turkish families on holiday there is normally a good sign you've chosen a good place! It was a very welcoming and inclusive staff culture. 7. No dress code for dinner. This makes a different to men who prefer to wear shorts in the evening, there's no requirement to wear long trousers etc. I overpacked on dresses - you could do a week here with hand luggage only! Main concerns at this hotel to consider: 1. Some families not supervising their kids and occasional raucous family groups. I'm ashamed to say this was mainly UK families. If one ended up next to us on the beach or in one of the bars - normally Sunrise Bar in the evening- we just moved. The resort is big enough to always find a quieter spot. There is nothing the resort can do about this, but it is something to consider. That's why Sunset Bar is beautiful at the end of the peninsular, and free of under 16s, a great spot with disco vibes, it took us 3 days to find this - go there night 1 if you are a couple or a family with adult kids! I thought it was a small price to pay for a holiday which was 1/3 of the price of Hillside Resort nearby. 2. Terrain is hilly. The resort does have some lifts, and do use them! It took us a day to work out a quicker route to the 'centre' bar/restaurant so do take some time on arrival to walk down a few footpaths! However - I saw about 10 people in wheelchairs - the paths are amazingly smooth and clean, there are ramps into buildings, and it would be do-able for a family group, including down to the main bay beach by the path not the stairs. The hotel has a different quieter vibe and might be good for those who want better accessibility, but it does have the smallest sea swimming beach if that is a priority. I met people who were there on their 5th, 10th visit. I am re-booking for next year. The value for money is exceptional. Swimming into sunrise was amazing. The sea swimming areas are cordoned so there's no risk of being hit by a jetski. The silver jewellery and the gold shops area in town were very good value. I was worried it's a big resort but it did not feel crowded and was at 95% occupancy mid-October. I've never spent less time IN my room on any holiday - there was too much to do. But mainly - I Am going back with the yoga and pilates, under the swaying branches, overlooking the sea; and a cocktail at Sunset bar surrounded by the sea; and a coffee on the beach at Sunrise bay listening to the call to prayers across the water as the sun rises from hills and mountains. While everyone else in the family can happily do their own thing during the day.

1 of our absolute favourite hotels in turkey 🇹🇷 we have stayed here 3 times over the years and everything is great! The only 1 nit pick I have is the rooms are a little on the small side for a family with a teenager and he said his bed was uncomfortable and it did look it too. But the staff are amazing, the rooms are always cleaned to a high standard. My son spent his 15th birthday here this year and we received a lovely fruit hamper and an invitation to the birthday party where they brought out a huge cake it was amazing.

Everything you want from a relaxing holiday. Lovely beaches, lovely pools, great spa. Ferry into Fethiye, charming staff, plenty of activities, or you can just sit back & enjoy relaxing in the sunshine. 2nd visit for me to Letoonia this year, already planning to return next year with the family. Don't be put off by the size of the resort, you are never far from everything you need. Even the highest bungalows are easily accessible with the funicular lifts.

Review I’m left more than a little bemused by the general consensus of reviews on this hotel, because they don’t remotely reflect our own experience. I’m half left wondering if we went to different places… The Good - The views and general scenery are breathtaking - probably the prettiest hotel we’ve ever stayed at and it’s beautifully kept. - Our cleaner was an absolute delight. - The boat ride over to Fetihye is relaxing, but if you want to shop, pay the extra for a cab to Hisaronu where they’re much friendlier. - The spa is sensational and superb value for money compared to other hotels we’ve been to - We loved our bungalow room itself and the view was unreal. - The sea is clear and the three beaches they’ve created are pretty. - Stunning setting for the a la carte fish restaurant and a six course menu which is good value overall. Same with Chopstix. We left both stuffed and it was the highlight of the holiday in many ways. The Bad - The breakfast buffet was easily the worst we’ve had at any all inclusive hotel. Quality over quantity in every way. Who is eating boiled chicken and cannellini beans for breakfast?! - Dinner and lunch were “ok” - We gave up on the cocktails, which were all a waste of time. Their beer, especially by the bottle, is good. The wine is atrocious. We ended up barely drinking in the end. - Gluten free options were almost non-existent. Our son’s options were some dry rusk-like bread and a chocolate muffin….every single day. That was it. When we went to the snack bar and asked if they had anything, the disdain was pretty obvious as they dismissed the suggestion and waved us on our way. - The majority of the staff are some of the coldest, most unfriendly and sullen we’ve experienced in Europe and it’s put us off Turkey as a whole. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt that they were at the end of a long season. - Equally, the grasp of English across the resort was pretty minimal and anything other than the most basic phrases created confusion. - The shower in our room seemed to just flit between “third degree burns” and “antartic lake” without touching the dial. - The pools were all ice cold, barring the indoor pool which was bearable. - Jellyfish all throughout the bay that give nasty stings. Most of us got one at some point, albeit not much the hotel can do beyond the barrier they already built. Son didn’t want to go back in the sea after his sting. - The slides are good fun, but they close them from 12-2, which is a weird time to do it. - Soft and hot drinks are ridiculously small. I know you can have as many as you want, but I don’t want to keep getting up and queuing for my next thimble of Coke or pipet of coffee. - The internet is shocking and you might as well plan for having little to no access all week long. - If you long for the 1980’s, Benny Hill and GCSE dance choreography that the entertainers look to be hating every minute of, you are going to LOVE the evening entertainment. - The beds are rock hard, almost like sleeping on the floor. We had an ok stay overall and found ways to amuse ourselves, but it’s neither a hotel, nor an area, that we would ever rush back to.

Been going here since 2010, though I see that a great many long term fans are now raising fundamental concerns which I very much share. Niggles such as the very poor WiFi coverage and the lack of ice cream of an evening in the Lykia restaurant are maybe things I can (though shouldn't have to) live with. But the thing I absolutely cannot accept is the very low quality of evening entertainment now provided. The Shows are generally 10 years or more old and now very much outdated. Each show is broadly a generic copy of the others and with few, if any, competent dancers involved. So we no longer go to these. Our biggest bugbear though concerns the significant reduction, of late, in live music on the small stage. In fomer years we could look forward to enjoying this 5 or 6 evenings per week. This year over a three week stay we only had live music on 8 evenings - not good enough for the prices charged. To make matters worse we have the nonsensical "Silent Mondays" - stick on a tape and let people dance. On all other evenings we were subjected to an Entertainment staffer standing on stage and playing non stop heavy Club music. He did not engage with the audience and absolutely no one engaged with him, his music, nor did anyone get up to dance. Any degree of emotional intelligence would have have alerted him to the fact that his audience was generally speaking far too "mature" for that type of music. On the few nights that we did enjoy live music I was really annoyed that bar staff interfered with guests who were up dancing by runnng around with trolleys on the dance floor collecting empty glasses and extinguisihing candles more than half an hour before the band was due to finish. To be honest, evenings were so dull in Letoonia this year that we eventually caved in and took taxis into town to look for bars that had some life about them. Again, we shouldn't have had to do this having paid a lot of money to Letoonia for an all inclusive experience. It absoluetly pains me to say it, but the entertainment programme is now shadow of what we became accustomed to during the heyday years. Consequemtly I would be loathe to go back.

Been coming to this hotel for many years and always returned because it has never failed to please. Cannot say this was my experience this time, sadly. Standards have definitely slipped. Cleanliness is still good but stayed for 3 weeks and the ladies at the Lykia restaurant had 1 toilet out of action for the whole time. Hand towels were often not replenished thoughout the complex. The new fence leading from the hotel to the Lykia looks like municipal fencing and the absence of the flowers is noticeable. Little things like the seating at the Agora bar not having the usual cushions in the evening and the desserts being served in paper plates and plastic cutlery in the Fantasia make for a "canteen" atmosphere. Staff appeared very disinterested and often on their mobile phones. On the birthday party evening half of the audience didn't even receive a birthday cake as staff were too interesed in finishing. The shows are tired and not half as good as they used to be. Live music was very limited and the DJ played the music he wanted to hear, not what the customer wanted. On complaining were told he was the DJ!! Very clubby - why don't they reinstate their disco and he can play this type of music to his heart's content? Very sad to see the decline of the entertaiment overall as this was a big aspect of our holiday and a reason we returned year after year. Entertainers appeared only interested in chatting up the young guests. At one point people were dancing to a live band and a waiter was pulling a trolley across the dancefloor right beside them in order to collect glasses. The staff couldn't wait to get finished in the Agora bar at night, removing table lights, clattering trolleys and glasses. Don't they realise that at 10.30pm people do not want this intrusion on their evening? They are on holiday and have paid a lot of money to sit and enjoy themselves, not be made to feel like they are an inconvenience or are unwelcome. New visitors with love Letoonia, old timers will, I'm sure, hanker for better days.

Young at heart, older couple, love exploring and being busy, Letoonia is the only place we visit where we have no desire to leave the hotel. The environment is absolutely stunning, so beautiful, and Letoonia has its own magic, we can chill out more than any other holiday. So enjoy having so many different areas to spend time, all with their own atmosphere. We had a lovely room with great view of Dolphin Bay, spot on. All the staff work so hard and are so friendly. The grounds team are always busy keeping it spotless, especially after the dramatic storm, which washed in masses of rubbish, it was soon back to Letoonia standards. My favourite is doing the water sports, included in the price, and paddleboard yoga is something else, what a wonderful teacher. Husband loves the fishing spot. Only negative is the evening entertainment wasn't as good as last year, lots of comedy nights rather than proper shows (singers/dancers/acrobatics) and the live music on the terrace was limited, mostly just a DJ. However the Horror Night was brilliant. The food is good, always lots of options, particularly enjoyed the Fantasia for lunch. Also splashed out on the Seafood Al A Carte, £36 for 2 people, which was a bargain for a great experience (and we are Yorkshire!) I'm gluten intolerant, there was lots of naturally GF food, still lots of choice, however the GF alternatives were very limited and better signage would help, although this is the same where ever I've been. It was so lovely returning, felt at home immediately, made nicer by so many staff remembering us from our first visit. Definitely makes you want to return, looking to rebook already.
