Lamihan Cave Hotel

It was a friend advice that we booked the place together, the place is chick, silent, clean and has everything you would need, there must be a special column for the owner Ms. Hayriye, she welcomes you like you are a guest at her house , the breakfast she delivers and the chat you will have is great and after the second day you start to think you need to buy a gift for her as a guest to host, Thanks Hayriye Thanks Lamihan

This was one of the best travel experiences we had. The host, Hayriye, is a wonderful human being who filled our soul with care and love. The place is amazingly placed next to Ortahisar’s castle and rooms are beyond clean and comfortable. Breakfast is home made with love, Hayriye even prepared it for us on our check out day at 6 in the morning. Lamihan will hold a special place in our hearts forever.

The place is just incredible. It has a really good location, very clean, the breakfast is really good and the owner is 100% committed to make you spend a really good time there. Her service is beyond words.

What to say about my fantastic stay at the Lamihan Cave Hotel?? The hotel itself is beautiful, with lovely spacious rooms and a fantastic view from the roof. The breakfast was large and very tasty and the hotel location was perfect for me, far enough away from the most touristy places, but close enough to everything that getting around wasn't a problem. Where the hotel really shines is the host and hotel owner Hayriye. She is a lovely person who went out of her way to make me feel welcome, help me book tours and let me know about things to do in the area. My time in Cappadocia would have been a lot harder and less enjoyable without Hayriye's help. I shall return to Turkey and Capadoccia and cannot see myself staying anywhere but the Lamihan Cave Hotel. I was perfect.

Lamihan is a magic place encrusted on the Ortahisar castle. Being super exclusive cave hotel (3 rooms only!) each detail in the property os hand made prepared by the owner (which speaks english). The room makes you travel back in time without jeopardizing the comfort that we all deserve during the holidays. Because its the cave, the temperature is perfect and you can hear the silence!! Completely relaxing place. Watch out to not oversleep and miss the tour LOL. The breakfast was another plus: good selection of local jam, cheese and fresh bread followed by coffee and tea. The hotel itself its all decorated with fresh flowers daily cared by the owner. You can feel the romantic atmosphere everywhere inside. You will find a little table under the a Wine tree where usually the guests sits at the end of the day to share their Cappadocia and life experiences. That can drag you through the night with good beer and local wines (for the internet addicted, no worry, hi speed wifi for you all to facetime, facebook, etc). For the sky lovers, there is a terrace with some cushions lay down the ground. That makes the place a thousand star hotel. I am very fortunate and very very lucky to spent my 3 days in Capadocia at Lamihan Cave Hotel. I would like to special thank Hayriye for her outstanding attention and guest service! It was a wonderful experience staying at the Lamhian Cave Hotel. The hotel is a cave which was built ages ago, which is a wonderful experience in itself. The hotel was well kept and the rooms are so cosy and well maintained. The hotel has amazing views and such nice rooms. I really enjoyed walking around the hotel. The trip was made exceptional due to the host Hayriye. She is an amazing person. She helped us with all our bookings for various trips, tours and transportation. She even prepares breakfast every morning for all her guests. Her hospitality and good nature was an bonus points for us! I would recommend her hotel to anyone who wants to stay outside the Göreme region, as the hotel is in Ortahisar.

Of the three weeks we spent in Turkey, we enjoyed our stay at Lamihan the most. The host, Hayriye, was so hospitable :) The breakfast was delicious, the room was clean, and the neighboring locals were very nice. Hayriye has great taste in interior design and we felt very much at home. We highly recommend staying here during your trip to Cappadocia!

Stayed in the hotel for two nights in September, but wish we could stay for a week at least. The place is wonderful, super comfortable, calm and feels like home. The owner is amazing kind person and takes perfect care of her guests. I also loved the village, the hotel is situated at, it's not very touristy but very peaceful. Separate gratitude for the unbelievable breakfasts( yummy, local ingredients and super photogenic also)) Already recommended place to all of my friends and hope to stay there again very soon <3

If an experience is what you are after, then staying at Lamihan is "must do". Situated minutes from Goreme and attractions, Lamihan is nestled slightly away from the main tourist area; just enough so that you are close enough to all amenities,while still able to experience "everything Cappadoccian" and enjoy a personal holiday experience. Lamihan is quiet, clean, and tastefully appointed with traditional, homely Turkish furnishings in an amazing cave environment, and comes with a perfect host. Hayriye is warm, has a great knowledge of the area and has excellent connections to be able to direct you to the best touring available......Best stay ever!!
