Its a really nice and unique building with rich history - came here from recommendation of a friend. But inside the building looks like just a department store with many levels selling different items and they are all Very expensive. There are some nice items but definitely not worth the exorbitant price. We only walked around for 15 mins and got bored and left. Only come here if you are very free and have time to spare.

I will never buy online from them again. I have ordered a product 2 weeks ago and have been sent the wrong product TWICE! Since the wrong product was sent the second time, I have been emailing and after 5 days of chasing (zero response), I decided to call: the person on the phone was not able to do anything and mentioned someone else from the team would be in touch with me shortly Still no news after 24 hours. Terrible service. Extremely disappointed. They have just lost a customer

One Saturday afternoon, I visited Liberty's with three friends. We left empty-handed as it was incredibly pricey (£40 for a water bottle, £20 for a notebook or £350 for a toy pig, anyone?) however we enjoyed browsing the many departments. Our favourite was probably the home section on the top floor which was full of beautiful tea sets, bedding and ornaments. We also enjoyed the stationery section which sold a wonderful collection of cards and paintings.
Overall, it is worth a visit simply to browse but do not come here if you are wanting to buy a cheap raincoat or a pair of Crocs.

I've lived in London all of my life and have walked past this so many times. Due to it being the Christmas period, I thought I would tae al look around inside and see what there was to offer. I was surprised to see how many stores are actually inside and it's nice to see some more boutique shops where you can buy some unique items. In terms of fashion items, there are a great selection of clothing stores and I found myself coming out of there after spending a few hundred pounds. Definitely worth passing through if you get the chance

shocked to read other negative reviews on here. yesterday I went to the maria tash store in liberty. they were very busy, but we were told by a lovely lady that we were to wait in a certain area until someone was free. after about 10 minutes, someone was available to help us. I came in with the intention of buying one piece but things took a turn and I left with two. the lady who served us wasn’t pushy at all, and was even recommending some less costly alternatives. the piece I came in for specifically was the last one (which had been reserved for a member of their team) so I was so grateful when the lady said I could have it. overall, a 10/10 experience, I am so happy with my jewellery and cannot wait to come back in a few months time! we were visiting london from cornwall and this is the highlight of my trip❤️ thankyou!

I have bought several of their fine earrings which are extremely expensive. However, to my disappointment almost all of them fell off. Thousands of dollars gone… when I contacted them to let them know, they did nothing about it. Don’t buy there!!!! At least if you don’t want to waste all the money you saved up!

It may be me having to wear a mask and follow their convoluted signage, but I found Liberty to be really disappointing today. There is now only a cafe on the 2nd floor and it’s horrible. No ambiance, lack lustre service and below average food. Whoever the General Manager of Liberty is needs to get their act together

I usually go to liberty to Beauty or fragrance department. I’ve personally never had a bad experience but never great enough to leave a review. Today I would like to thank Jasnam, from Aveda for being so kind, knowledgeable and very approachable. Last time I was there, she recommended the mask and the overnight serum for my hair and gave me some samples. I loved them so much I went back to buy them. She has also recommended to sign up to the aveda loyalty cart so I can enjoy cash back to spend in aveda salon, which was also very worth it since I spend money in product anyway. I know Aveda it’s quite pricey although worth i, but it’s so much better when you find someone who can recommend the right things for your hair in such a beautiful environment. Worth a visit.

I visited Liberty for the first time whilst on holiday in London.

On the plus side, the shop itself is very aesthetically pleasing both outside and in, meaning you get to shop in a beautiful, atmospheric building.

But, like sports car with no seats, the charm is all on the outside. The shop itself is nowhere near as good as London's other department stores, such as Harrod's or Fortnum & Mason. I thought it was more of a glorified Gift Shop, as the wares being sold were not as good as other places.

In addition, the café was extortionately priced.

If passing, I would recommend a nose around, but I would travel deliberately to have a look round Liberty's.

Upon returning an online order, I was told I would receive an email confirming recipt of the item within 20 minutes or so. I hadn't received anything after an hour so returned to enquire about this and was simply told to wait another 20 minutes, which I obliged. As I still hadn't received any email 3 hours after returning the item, I returned to Customer Services to ask for some form of evidence to prove I had returned the item. I felt that Terrence and his other colleague of the same ethnicity were cold, obstructive and sneering. They suggested I might have been checking the wrong email or not checked the junk mail for example, which came across as trying to blame the customer rather than resolve an issue. The blonde lady was very helpful and friendly but unfortunately seemed more junior and had to ask her unhelpful colleagues for advice. They were only prepared to help when we really stood our ground but I don't understand why they couldn't have helped when asked nicely. If they don't like to provide services to customers, maybe they should do a non-customer-facing job.
