An old property with some character and a beautiful location. Excellent breakfast but you have to be patient! Staff have to be asked at least twice for that missing fork or some milk or toast etc.
Dinner had to be sent back as mostly cold. Staff need energising!
We loved everything about this hotel. The setting is beautiful, with well maintained gardens. The staff were always smiling and exchanging a friendly word with us. Our bedroom and shower room were tastefully decorated and spotlessly clean. One is spoilt for choice at breakfast time, the food was always cooked to perfection and piping hot. We enjoyed our evening meals and switched between the dinner and the early supper depending on what we did during the days , all were delicious.
Show more...We stayed here for 3 nights whilst looking at seeing The Gower. This was excellent accommodation and located very well to travel. Three Cliffs Bays, 15 mins walk (the best bay!), Oxwich Bay (10 min drive) and Rhossilli Beach (20 min drive). We upgraded from a small double to a Suite which was amazing. This accommodation has real family heritage and you are treated as such too, nothing is too much trouble - the meals were also superb. I would rate this 10/10 for the whole experience.
Show more...This place is decorated beautifully and the staff are lovely. We had an enjoyable meal - some of us had fantastic meals, some of us the meals were okay. Personally I had a beautiful piece of salmon on crushed potatoes and that was delicious. I love desserts and the dessert menu was not great :-(
All said though I would go back again for another meal and you could stay - and I would have liked too as the location looked wonderful.
What a stunning setting for a memorial lunch to celebrate my dad’s life. The surroundings are superb with plenty of space for young children to run around. The hospitality is excellent. The staff are warm and friendly. The food and service is excellent and cannot be faulted. Well worth a visit if you are looking for a small and friendly restaurant.
Show more...A fabulous location , the house is lovely full of character and recently refurbished.
A huge asset are the staff who are warm friendly and attentive . A great place to chill out and enjoy all the benefits of the Gower peninsula
Whilst staying on holiday in the Gower my family decided to visit this riding stables. All looks great on a rrival. Having ridden for over 30 years and all around the world this was the worse ride of my life. The staff are so rude, unhelpful , arrogant with a disgusting attitutude. The ride just walks and the ride guides constantly harass the horses from behind causing the horses to charge forward without the rider knowing. For novices this is highly dangerous. For experienced riders the whole experience is infuriatingly boring. When people asked for help to dismount the staff were down right rude and unhelpful inferring they should have smaller ponies if they cannot dismount. I saw the staff kick and swear at some of the ponies. I will be reporting them the to RSPCA and British Horse society. So sad and ruined our experience.
Show more...To the beginner who wanted to ride on the beach, don't you think that if you can't control your pony (keep both hands on your reins and keep in line) that it would be dangerous for yourself, other riders and members of the public on the beach? All it takes is an out of control wind break or child and if you can't ride you'll be galloping off into the distance or worse waiting for a rescue helicopter. You get amazing views from the top of cefn bryn over all the gower coast and beyond which is what pony trekking is all about. The guides give lots of useful information on how to ride so you are safe and also show you the views. The hands on get to know your pony is unique. If you want to be galloping about this is not for you though there are some lovely long canters for the experienced riders.
Show more...Great surrounding and beautiful horses, but two or three of the staff have no skills at all when it comes to dealing with customers.
I'm not talking about the casual aloofness here, I'm talking about keeping riders waiting for no good reason, barking instructions at children and being directly rude to (and about) customers. The way they move their horses around wouldn't impress an RSPCA inspector either!
It's a pity, becuase the hotel rooms and food are top notch, and most of the other staff would do anything for you.

We have no hesitation in supplying a glowing review of Parc le Breos. 12 of us stayed the night before a wedding elsewhere in the Gower in October 2023 and everyone rated the staff, the food (a veritable banquet for us all, including 4 children, in a separate room), the public rooms and bedrooms – and the golf-course like surroundings - as first class. The staff could not have been more professional or welcoming. Complete naturals. We felt it was going to be special when we booked on the phone and called in on a recce – Nikki was a delight to deal with. A fascinating old country property, popular as a base for walkers. We made plans there and then to return for a long weekend. Well done PlB.
