Show more...We had a drink at the bar. We were served by the most amazing staff, Alex and his team. We live locally and will definitely be back. We can’t wait for summer evenings in the terrace! I also had afternoon tea here a few weeks ago with a group of ladies and it was very good.
Show more...very happy stay in The Bird. Loved the decor and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was outstanding. Slight noise from main road outside but not a real issue. Sad not to use patio garden as too cold.
Show more...Beautiful hotel. Receptionist was lovely, nothing was too much trouble. Parking is limited so you need to get there early. £20 to park but bath is expensive to park. 10-15 min walk into the centre of bath with lots of shops, restaurants and historic features. Our room had a lovely view of the abbey. The rooms are stunning, dyson hairdryer and diffuser, tea and coffee facilities, fridge, massive bed, lovely big fluffy towels and lovely bathroom products. Double shower and air con. Only downside is no lift so lots of stairs. There is a small fridge In reception with fresh milk and a lovely complementary sweet bar with jars of haribos , flumps, mini milky bars etc and soft drinks. Tv with Netflix and lots of channels. USB charging points We didn’t use the restaurant but the food looked amazing from what I saw. A real gem in the heart of a beautiful city
Show more...I highly recommend a stay at the bird hotel in bath. Perfect location and the service is exceptional. We enjoyed the little extras, like the freshly baked cookies, access to the larder, fresh milk for Teas and coffees. The staff also went above and beyond to make my partners birthday perfect! Thank you for a lovely stay.

Show more...I booked The Bird Bath for my birthday getaway with my husband and I will definitely be booking again. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to this time because I loved my experience. We were able to park right outside the front of the hotel and already knew it would be £20 to park, not too bad a price considering the shops and restaurants are only a 10 minute walk away. As soon as we entered I loved the decor and the lovely lady on reception walked us to our room. We only booked a dinky double and it was big enough for us. In the room we were greeted with a handwritten card addressed to me, a really nice touch. The coffee machine had various pods and there was free glass bottles of water, various teabags and some shortbread biscuits. In reception there is fresh milk you can help yourself to. Our favourite bit was the free sweets and soft drinks we could get. It’s a really nice touch which you don’t see anywhere else. It was a nice quiet hotel and the bed was really comfortable so we got a great night sleep. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, so many different options. We liked that we could get a hot breakfast with some little pastries on the side. The staff we spoke to were all lovely and it felt like a posh hotel. We will definitely be staying again when we next visit Bath!

We had a lovely long weekend staying at The Bird at Bath for my 50th birthday. The room was lovely and the copper free standing bath was just what I needed after a long day shopping in the rain. The staff were absolutely lovely and so helpful and welcoming. We travelled with our dog Reggie and the staff took time to stop and say hello to him (and the sausage at breakfast was a winner). The staff in the bar and restaurant were so accommodating and the Sunday roast was perfection. All in all we had a brilliant time and will return again. Thank you for making my 50th birthday so special.
