Flagstaff View Point

A fantastic place to stay. Lovely clean & cosy rooms, brilliant food & the second best Guinness ive ever tasted. The bar/restaurant is lovely , with a really nice clientele. Breakfast in the morning was excellent , with plenty of choice, great coffee choices & the friendliest service in the industry. Flagstaff could not be more helpful , especially the chap doing the breakfasts in the morning.

Apart from views, its a lovely place to picnic. Good facilities.We were sorry we hadn't packed one!!

Fab place, but I got lost going home, I was with my girlfriend Grace, I had to carry her home cause it rained

This is a short drive from Newry and a beautiful place to visit. Despite it being a drizzly, misty day, the views were fabulous, especially with the Autumn colours.

An area of outstanding natural beauty,breathtakingly beautiful. Superb picture postcard views,especially on a nice day. A sight to behold & appreciate. To have this on our doorstep is bliss. Has to be seen to be believed! Enjoy a picnic & bask in the views. You will not be disappointed.

Flagstaff viewpoint has been designed to allow good parking while you take in the amazing views of Carlingford Lough and the Mourne mountains. I love to just stand here and drink in the view and it doesn't matter what the weather is like it is still just stunning.

On our day we stop off at this beautiful view point overlooking Warrenpoint, Newry, carlingfordlough and many other places.
This area would be a good place for the family, sightseeing, photographer and artists we a good eye for a painting of the local landscape.

Finished our Northern Ireland tour before driving to Ireland - jump over two countries , without notice where the frontier line actually exists? Just made a short visit into this Viewpoint of Flagstaff, from where could see Warrenpoint harbor and part of Irish Sea. This can be recommended to do at daylight time, we were late evening before dark.
