The room was clean and spacious. Check in was easy. Property is walking distance to train station and major attractions. Only cons were a crowded pool and a slight smell in the bathroom shower. Has a cafeteria for breakfast and a small bar for the evening. Also across the street from the Bath Brewhouse if you want to get a pint.

front desk was very friendly. room wasn’t ready by the time we arrived and had to wait until 4:30pm to check in as hotel was overbooked, we were upgraded and got drinking voucher for the bar as compensation so we could grab a drink at the bar while waiting. room was not perfectly clean despite that housekeeping spent quite a long time working on our room and the late check in, there was a single hair in the middle of the bed and something looks like skin or dry flower kinda dust (not sure what it was but it was a bit concerning) next to the pillow. Sheet was also not very clean with stain on it. But we were pretty tired by the time we get to the room so didn’t bother contact front desk again and didn’t really trust housekeeping after this tbh as we were told housekeeping spent more than 1.5 hr in that room cleaning before we checked in. bathroom is very clean just as it always is (stayed at this hotel before a couple times). One of the elevators was broken the day we arrived but haven’t been fixed until we left. So there was a bit wait for the elevator given that only one was working. Free water is being provided at the bar but bar told us we’d need to pay 4 pounds for the glass bottle if we want extra but refill is free if we bring the same bottle we have in the room. Also free if you bring your own bottle. No complaints here as it’s pretty environmental friendly but just not very convenient when you had to go up and down for it especially when you had to wait for elevator. in general I’m a big fun of Apex and been staying in Apex across the UK, front desk agents were very professional and friendly. Housekeeping or cleanliness can be improved (I didn’t have this issue before so was a bit surprised to see bed being not clean).

We had a lovely stay at Apex in Bath. Close to the Thermae Spa and all of the rest of the centre. The room was lovely and the spa in the hotel was really good, we said we probably could have done without the Thermae Spa and just spent time in the hotel. The Reception area was clean and tidy and the staff were welcoming and friendly. Would definitely recommend and stay again.

We had a very good stay, with great room, services and additions in the room. We loved the free duck and the ideas behind it. Room facilities were great and comfortable sleep. No issues with noise being opposite a late night bar.

The hotel’s location is fantastic, we parked the car in a long stay car park & left it there for 4 days. We walked to all the sights & attractions we wanted to see, including prior park (which was hard going, walking up the hill). The breakfast at the hotel was really good, the room was really nice, very comfortable bed & pillows, lovely bathroom. The only thing that lets this hotel down were the cleaners, our room was next to the cleaners room & they just kept opening & closing the door constantly, it was so annoying, we had to go out. They didn’t clean the room very well, they didn’t replace the complimentary items we used in the room, we had to ask for them, including toilet paper & they left my pyjamas on the floor after they’d made the bed, apart from those niggles, we had a wonderful time.

Really good stay. Very comfortable, pleasant friendly staff, nice pool and spa. Clean, comfy beds and great shower Only negative is that due to design of the building , the windows don’t open for fresh air.
