Crindle Stables

I'm so glad I booked into Crindle for the Toddler experience with my little girl, she absolutely loved every minute of it. All the staff were brilliant with the little ones and the lesson was well planned out.

I highly recommend this class for anyone wanting to start out their little ones in pony riding. I will definitely be back.

Yesterday my partner and I took his kids to participate in one of crindles unique horse riding experiences. They all loved it, they got a bit of everything, grooming a lesson and a hack! As someone who has been around horses my entire life I was very impressed with the mix of friendliness and professionalism. All aspects of safety were adhered too in a way that did not encroach on their fun. We plan another visit in August ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

I took my grandchildren, aged four and five to a fun day at Crindle stables. They had been on little rides in the past, led around a field by an adult, but this was a whole different experience. They learned so much, not only about riding, but they were shown how to care for the ponies and about the work involved in cleaning them out, brushing their coats etc.
The day ended with games on horseback which was great practice.
All of this was carried out in a fun environment, with lots of experienced helpers.
Brilliant day and would thoroughly recommend Crindle Stables to anyone, whether first timers or experienced riders.

From the moment we emailed Hazel to ask about options for riding she was remarkably helpful and lovely to communicate with. Of course she offered options for horseback riding but she also helped us with hotels in the area, places to eat, and other sites to see. She is clearly proud of her home, and wants people to have the best experience in the area.

We did a private ride which was above and beyond anything we could have imagined. We started in their Stables where we got a tour and met our horses. Hazel's daughter, Hannah, helped us tack up the horses and gave us a quick lesson in the indoor ring to get comfortable and go over basics. We then loaded up the horses, jumped in their jeep, and headed down to the beach. We rode up and down the beach for a while. Hannah accompanied us on the ride. We took the horses in the shalow water, around bends to hidden beaches, and were able to trot and canter them along the sand. Hannah took loads of pictures of us which she airdropped to us at the end.

Overall, this was a day that we will never forget. I would recommend any of their experiences to anyone traveling in the area. Crindle Stables treat their clientele like family and will create an unforgettable experience for riders of all levels.

Fantastic experience. We brought our 3 kids here today. They never had any experience with horses before. The eldest is 5 and we have a set of twins aged 3. The boys absolutely loved the experience from walking to trotting I was very impressed with the instructions Amy gave coaching us through each of the activities. Our boys were on 'Daisy' and 'Blue.' Our daughter was a bit anxious about it. The staff were fantastic, she spent her time with 'Theo' they came up with alternative activities for her to do other than riding the horse - brushing the horse, leading it and sitting on it for photographs etc so it was by no means a waste of money for and anxious child. We will definitely be back. Next time I'll bring some wellies 🤣. 10/10 experience would recommend to anyone holidaying in the North Coast.

What a fantastic morning my daughter and I had here. From the very first email correspondence the staff were great. Hazel looked after the booking and met us on arrival. She handed us over to the girls Hannah and Amy, both great instructors, very friendly and instilled confidence around the horses very quickly. I also took my disabled sister so she could have a look around and Hazel really looked after her, really made her day. Highly recommended place, horses were brilliant, staff were brilliant. Couldn't of wished for a better experience for someone who was nervous enough about it. Thank you all.

Myself and my partner had a fantatsic private beach ride with Hannah yesterday. Having not ridden for a number of years the team made us feel very welcome and comfortable. Highly recommend the private beach ride to anyone whatever your ability as they will tailor accordingly. The beach is very wide and expanding with spectacular scenery. It is well worth the money!! The horses were very well behaved and took good care of us!! Big thank you to Hannah, Amy and the horses (Daisy and Barbie!)

It was my daughter's first time on a horse and Amy was absolutely fantastic. From the introduction to the pony, to leading her and then by the time it came round to getting on the horse they were already well introduced and to my surprise she just got straight on. In fact she didn't want to get off! Everything was very professional and safe but also very relaxed and friendly and calm. Thank you for a lovely experience, I don't know who had more fun, me or her!

I was gifted the beach ride. As an established but very rusty rider I was so impressed and had such a good time. Everyone was so friendly. Our group consisted of complete beginners, to rusty people like me, to regular riders. All were catered for. We were paired with an appropriate horse, and our riding ability assessed, before heading to the beach. We all enjoyed a leisurely ride on the beach, taking in the scenery, and getting a splash in the water. For those who were able, we were able to get a few canters and blow some cobwebs away. I thoroughly enjoyed myself, and hope to be back!

Fantastic experience from start to finish. We would highly recommend to young families for a great enjoyable fun time for all!
We booked the family fun session as a family of 4 with a 7 and 4 year old. Hazel & Amy were so friendly and helpful. My daughter aged 4 had many (many!) questions and nothing was a problem for them. The care they show for their animals is so good. They took time to show us around the stables and we got to meet all of the horses. Hazel & Amy both made a very nervous first time experience, a fantastic family memory for us all! Thank you so much & a special thanks to James too for his help too.
