Frank Owens Bar

Dear oh dear. The late Frank Owens would be horrified if he knew the terrible quality of Guinness his much-loved bar is now serving. I have never been served a worse pint of Guinness anywhere. I certainly didn’t expect to be served such rubbish in a bar renowned for a fine pint of stout.

What a lovely bar I popped in here for a drink with friends and to see the G.O.T door which was amazing the young man Terrance serving was very attentive and full of banter and biss he gave us a wee tour of the place had a laugh with the customers as well . Came away smiling was worth the visit lovely establishment. Will definitely call in again next time on staycation.

Frank Owens in Limavady and Busbar, Banbridge - two best pints of Guinness in the North. Have left Limavady 30 years now, and still welcomed by name by Damien everytime I call in. What a pub should be, sadly this is a bar of which few are left. Owens Bar is top class.

F.O's is an exceptionally friendly lively pub, If you get the chance a visit when the Limavady Folk and blues festival is on, this takes lively to a new high.
The beers are in perfect condition, however even the bitter is served very cold, something we English have to get used to.
From the minute you enter your welcomed and embraced by the locals and bar staff so you'll never feel you're drinking alone

Frank Owens has got the atmosphere, customer service and craic that all tourists are looking for in an Ulster pub. If you want to sit in a small group and enjoy your own company, or sit at the bar and listen to some man from Drumsurn, talk about sheep, Franks is the place to go. It is still known for the best pint of Guinness in the county. It has a famous customer now and again, Darren Clark. He even donated the flag from the 18th hole of the course he won his British Open in 2011. So if u are in the County of Derry, Frank Owens is a must to visit.

Our group stopped by for the door and felt very welcomed. It was very lively and full, but the lovely Sarah at the bar took time to speak with us about local attractions and history. I would like to go back again when she is working to learn more about the area!

Good service from our favourite bar owner Damien. Always friendly and helpful -/chatty the best bar in town with out a doubt. Just ask My Friend Victor who was singing his praises .wait to hear what he has to say about some of the competition.

Lovely service with a smile and they had the best relaxed atmosphere. Also we went for the game of thrones door and we weren't disappointed.

Great bar and easily the best in limavady. Always busy and always welcoming. On the colder nights they'll keep the fire burning to heat you up wether your in for 1 or 20. The staff are friendly and efficient. The dribks are varied and anything ive had from the tap is how it should be (no flat beers here) . Varied entertainment and throw great functions!

Been all around the island many times and this is without a doubt the best of the best. Quaint, pleasant place to enjoy a cold one. The absolute friendliest staff. Gary, Victoria, Aoife, Terrence and the rest of the staff make you feel at home. And the locals, well great craic. Will be back during all my trips over.
