Dunseverick Falls runs into the Atlantic Ocean, not far from Dunseverick Castle. The Falls are quite small, the volume of water depends on whether it has been raining recently ; It almost always rains n Ireland. The Falls a case of "At least I can say I've seen it."

Be careful that you don't miss the falls as they are not well signposted. Don't drive down to the harbour as you will end up too far away,Park in the little car park opposite the harbour turn off, cross over the road and walk a little way down the road towards the harbour and you will see the falls on your left.It was raining heavily on our visit and so we could see the falls clearly from the road without venturing across the wet grass. Well worth a visit.

Most visitors to the North Coast will visit the harbour and the ruined castle at Dunseverick, but very few people ever even know that they have passed this beautiful location. Park in across the road from the turn for the harbour and climb over a style and walk down on to the coastal path. Turn left and there is a little river a couple of hundred yard along the coast. As you get closer you will see the water fall, where the stream falls over a low cliff into the Atlantic. This is best if there has been a lot of rain (not uncommon in Northern Ireland). The best views can be had by carefully climbing across rocks on the near side of the stream. Be careful these can be slippery, and be extra careful if the tide is high and the sea is rough as you could easily swept away. However if you are careful the view is well worth the effort.

There are many dramatic coastal scenes to be experienced in Scotland, but not so many in Northern Ireland. This is not to say that there are many small areas of the Causeway Coast in North Antrim that are just as spectacular and dramatic.
Anyone visiting the North Antrim coast and travelling between Portrush and Ballycastle should give themselves plenty of time to call in at the many little hamlets that hug this rocky and windswept coastline.
The small village of Dunseverick is unspectacular but you should follow the signs for the harbour which will lead down a narrow twisting road. Once there leave the car in the car park and walk back towards the old ruined Dunseverick Castle, passing a large rock pool that attracts many swimmers during the summer. Just beyond this is the unusual Dunseverick Falls. Unusual because there is no river above it simply a spring which pours water into the sea, especially after heavy rain.

Such a spectacular place. Me and my boyfriend fell in love with this place. As photographers we were amazed by our backdrop!
We took a walk over the hill to the right to find even more amazing views of these waterfalls.
If you have time this should definitely be on the top of your list.

Smallest fall I’ve ever seen and the locals had never even heard of it. Plus we had to walk near someone’s yard to get there which I didn’t like. I would skip this one.

It's been a while since I was there but I recollect that from somewhere, either on the main road or the side road down to the harbour, it looks like the river runs along the top of a rounded promontory.
It struck me as an odd sight, from memory, whereever the vantage point was, it wasn't far from the junction of the side and main roads. It might be worth a walk if 'you' are so inclined.
The publish date is incorrect but I couldn't not enter a date

Definitely visit if you are in the area. Lovely scenery. Nice sandy beach. Great to see the waterfall into the sea. Park in the lay-by on the main road.
