The worst fun farm we have ever been to. Dirty, barely any animals, the yard resembles a scrap yard/dump, run down buildings, roofs falling in on the sheds. The indoor play area was filthy. No signage to know where to go. We had to wander around to find where to pay. A useless area for the outdoor go karts as it's on a hill and the kids can't ride up a steep hill on them. The pool table was on a slant, so all the balls ran to one side. An absolute waste of money going here. Don't waste your money, go to Rosepark instead!
Show more...Just outside the Giant's Causeway we spotted a sign to the Giant's Farm and couldn't resist. A bit surprised to be charged £20 for a family of 5, but it was well worth it for three children aged 4, 6 and 8.
We started off stroking cheeky baby rabbits (five weeks old) that were trying to nibble clothes and hop into each others baskets, making everyone laugh. We also stroked 4-day-old guinea pigs, the tiniest ever!
Then we fed the baby pigs and goats milk out of a baby bottle. Seeing the piglets with milk splashed all over their faces and frantically grunting for more was hilarious. We stroked calves and got hands sucked by them, in the way the farmer teaches them to drink out of a bucket.
The site is quite small, but we made the most of the animals and enjoyed the play barn with its foam guns, pedal tractors and climbing frame.
I took my 3 nephews (aged 6, 4 & 2) and they quite literally ran around and had fun for hours and hours! The family that run the place are super helpful and ensured that the kids were never bored and there was so many animals to look at!
Great wee tuck shop as well, I really can't recommend this place enough!
Group outing £4pp entry. Overpriced for what there is to see & do. No signs or directions where to go. Park &wonder around a while & I'm sure you will find where to go. A very dirty, rough & unkept farm, surroundings put us off. Actually surprised that this farm has been passed for use as a children's farm. Yes we all do expect functioning farms to have muck &all that goes with it but this was the worst we have ever seen. The mess, dung &unused equipment lying around this place is ridiculous. Would not take any child to wonder off the beaten track that's for sure. The animal shed consists of 5 pens &includes calves, pigs, goats,& chickens with a children's sand pit lodged between a pig pen &the chickens & the functioning farm section behind the pit. I find it alarming that children would be allowed to dig in sand in between 2 animal pens with rats no doubt regularly in the area as it is beside a functional slatted area for dung. Disgusting to say the least, never let my children near it. 3 or 4 rabbit pens and guinea pigs in another area. The only positive aspect of our trip was the play area which we spent 45 minutes in. The staff replied when spoken to but looked bored, did not engage with any of the children. Room for major improvement! Have been around many farms over the years but nothing like this. If you are wise avoid this place& spend your money elsewhere. We spent almost £40 here& the enjoyment we got was in the play area ..we could have went to the park for free!
Show more...Delightful to see and hear of these places, and there needs to be more rural resources for our tourists and locals, especially activities like this for days when the beaches are too cold and windy.
Show more...Our church camp took 47 8-11 year olds to the fun farm for the afternoon. It was a major highlight of the week. We brought our own picnic and ate on site, inside and out. Staff were friendly and accommodating from the word go. Then we split into 5 groups and a member of staff took each group to see different things. There was brilliant variety packed into one afternoon. A pony ride, visiting goats and donkeys in the fields. We saw pigs, calves, turkeys, chickens in the farmyard. We saw and handled rabbits and guinea pigs in little baskets. We saw the cows being milked. We had a ride on a tractor and trailer. And then there was the play barn with slides and swings and air blasters and pool and pedal tractors to race. There were other little play surprises around the farmStaff looked after us brilliantly and we had a safe and very memorable trip. We'll be back!
Show more...Kids loved feeding the animals here and they had some fun information beside each pen. They have an indoor soft play area with a bouncy castle as well as some outside playground slides etc. Kids really liked the little chicken with her tiny chicks and the tame rabbits they could touch.
Show more...This is a newly open fun farm and is still finding it's feet. We visited with our 15 month old son and he loved it. Lots of friendly animals to stroke and feed. Lots of fun to be had inside like tractors, diggers climbing frame etc. The a small tuck shop that sells chocolate, Crisps, drinks etc. The owners and staff was very friendly and told us all about there animals. Well worth a visit and a good way to spend afew hours with small children at a very reasonable price
Show more...Fantastic place for a birthday party. Wanted something different from the usual indoor play areas for my son's 6th birthday party. Causeway Fun Farm was perfect! The two hours flew in with the perfect mix of feeding a variety of animals, horse-riding and playing in the indoor play shed. Excellent facilities, food and staff worked with the kids perfectly. Boys particularly liked the soft ball gunsextremely hard to drag them away at the end!! Will definitely be back.

Friendly staff, family ran I assume.
Show more...There were very few animals and the indoor play centre didn’t have many activities.
The ball shooting game was fun but they rest was poor.
We were gobsmacked at having to pay £29 for a family of 5 plus two drinks. We only stayed one hour.
We were also the only family there so it lacked atmosphere had it been busy we might have had a different experience. Would we go again? Probably not.
