We bought tickets for £10 each as part of a promotion with sea life tickets. The queue to get in was not good & was caused by having to have a photo done on the way in! I thought that was ridiculous & having the photo elsewhere might be better. After that a lift takes people upstairs to the attractions. Kingdom quest is the first attraction, it’s an interactive ride where you sit in a wagon. You have a gun & have to shoot targets. The ride only lasts a few minutes but the queue was long! It said a 30 min wait, but they had to reset the ride whilst we waited, so we waited about 45 minutes. I would hate to see the queues in high season. The rest of the attractions are in one big room. There are several Lego stations to build your own models & test them out on road tracks etc. There was also a wizard ride, a two person sit on ride which you pedal to fly higher. There is a soft play area for over 5 year olds & another for under 5’s. But whilst we were there someone vomited in the play area & it was shut for a while. The 4D cinema was great, with water & sounds. My kids loved this part best. There is a Costa coffee shop, but yet again the queues were huge! One person serving did not help the situation. We stayed for around 3 1/2 hours, but probably half of that was spent queuing. Even though there was plenty to do & the £10 price was great, I thought the place was overcrowded. This resulted in frayed tempers, one kid punched another in the play area & then the parents started on each other! Not great in a kids attraction, I realise this was not legolands fault, but iff tv could have been dealt with sooner. Overall, a lovely place, not huge but with plenty to do. Overcrowded, long queues & would definitely not pay full price. But if you can get a deal, it’s a nice few hours out.

We visited Friday 28th October (half term) & booked a 12.30pm slot (we ate lunch beforehand as you can’t take your own food inside). As expected it was busy, we had to wait 20 minutes for laser shooting ride, 30 minutes for the spinning wizard ride & we waited til the 4D cinema timer went down to 5 mins to go & then queued up. As the afternoon went on, the queues went down so we rode on both the rides again with little or no queue.
Our nearly 8 year old son had a great time, he enjoyed everything including building & racing cars he made & looking around Miniland.
We paid the extra £5 to be shown how to build a specific mini model (they choose for you) & took it home as a souvenir.
My only criticism was cafe, only one person serving, I gave up waiting in the end for a coffee.
There is a multi-storey carpark next door, we paid £10 for 5 hours.
In my opinion this is a place really for 8 years and under as I think older kids would be disappointed & bored quickly.

Took the grandkids age 5 and 3.5years. Had a great time, both loving building ‘cars’ to roll down slopes and other challenges. Both children and adults loved the 4D films. Second visit for the older grandchild who still had that look of excitement when she wether she was building houses or searching for its for the tiny Lego figures. Well recommended

Cam as a group with all our children.
They had a fantastic time. Lots to do and see and no massive queues. All the children had a go on the rides and activities multiple times. As did the adults!
Only niggle was the lack of space to eat. People put coats and bags on chairs at the cafe so there was never enough space. Perhaps a sign to discourage this would help. However, this would not put us off returning.

We visited today with our almost 4 year old son. First impressions were a bit disappointing as the green screen photo station was unattended. We were able to operate it ourselves to take the photos but the machine didn’t print a receipt so we assumed it was broken. Then, one of the two lifts to the main attraction was broken but luckily there was no queue for the working one.

Once we got to the main area my thoughts of the place totally improved. It was a little overwhelming, not knowing where to go first, but we managed to get round everything.

We started on the track ride where you shoot lasers to the Lego characters which was great fun! When we got off, there was a station to see the photo taken on the ride so I mentioned the photos we took at the start and the kind lady was able to find them on the system so we bought a package of them all.

The display room was wicked! So many hours of work put into the designs and buildings of the local area and a few interactive bits, although some buttons were broken.

The main room was very hectic with Lego everywhere but so many areas to build everything! Lego Dots, vehicles, people, and loads of free play for your imagination.

There was a good size soft play area which was quite busy and if you have smaller kids I’d recommend supervising them in there. There was another ride in there which didn’t seat many at a time and although the queue didn’t look very big, it did take a while.

The 4d cinema was sooooooo good! It looked like they have 3 different movies playing. We saw the Lego City one and it was the best 4d movie I’ve seen. Really held the kids’ attention.

There was a cafe inside the main room too but we had planned to eat elsewhere so I can’t give recommendations on this but it was reasonably busy.

We didn’t arrive until almost 12pm on a Sunday so we didn’t have as much time as we could have done with but we have Merlin passes so we’ll be back soon!

The Lego shop at the end had a really good selection and I wanted it all! I expected the prices to be inflated compared to high street stockists but they weren’t too bad and they had loads on sale up to 50% off so we got some good bargains!

We visited this Sunday which was bank holiday and went to the sealife first, had lunch at the diner next door (expensive but would recommend) and then came here. Our children are 2 and 4 and they really enjoyed it. We had to queue for 15 minutes on arrival to have a photo before entering, there was no choice to avoid this which was a bit annoying. We then got the lift down and joined another 30 minute queue for the ride. The ride was good but lasted a few minutes. We appreciate it was a Sunday on Bank Holiday but the whole place was rammed, you just couldn't move. We queued for a further 30 minutes for the other ride at the back. Our children loved the soft play and then spent a good hour just building lego cars to go down the ramp.
The VR was additional so we didn't pay.

We would go again but only on a weekday when it was quiet as it really did ruin it abit for us.

We went on the first day of half term so expected it to be really busy but it wasn't too bad. We purchased our tickets using Tesco clubcard points and thought it was excellent value for money.
Our 4 and 7 year olds loved it, they were busy building and playing Lego the whole time we were there. We went on both rides and saw one show at the cinema, probably about a 10 minute wait for each of these.
It is smaller than I expected but lots to keep the kids occupied and they had a great time. Spent over 3 hours there and the kids would have stayed longer.

Visited today with 5 children for a belated birthday celebration
Upon arrival there isn’t really any guidance as to what to do at all,we imagined we would just be roaming doing things we wanted, there’s a set routine for what you should be doing when which nobody actually informs you of 🤷🏻‍♀️
Kids missed the rides as we weren’t aware you had to go to them before they closed 😡
Did visit the 4D cinema which was a movie which to be fair the kids enjoyed however was possibly the worst 4D I have ever visited, soraya of water every 30 seconds and that’s your lot!
There was an area which was full of activity’s however all the boxes were empty and Lego wasn’t enough to actually build anything such as cars to test on the track for example so pointless.
One thing that did keep them occupied was the tasks of finding stamps for their books which we had to pay an additional £5 per child for the privilege to do
Most overpriced day out in a long time, adults and children are the same price, which is too expensive .take my advice, spend it on tickets to actual legoland which will keep you all amused all day not 2 hours and there is something for everyone 🧱

So firstly, the website pretty much describes the discovery centre as a smaller version of the Windsor site. However it is pretty much 2 rooms and 2 rides. First room is a miniature town built out of lego, half of the electronics didnt work on it (i.e. press a button and the boat moves etc). The second room is essentially all random bits of lego and kids use their imagination to build stuff, which you could do at home.
The website insinuates that you will get your own lego to build with whilst there, however it is a free for all.
The cafe was horrendous, it had pretty much no food in as sold out (was only 12.30). It had 3 decent sized sandwiches and the tiniest of sandwiches for smaller kids.
There wasnt any visible staff around whilst in the 2nd room and would have thought there was more purpose than a room filled with random lego pieces everywhere.
With the price as well you would expect some kind of lego gift included or even discount in the shop but unfortunately not.
You have to exit through the shop (yet another money making scheme) and the prices of the lego sets are dearer than in shops like smyths or sainsburys!
Possibly the worst day out we have had in a while and a huge disappointment. The website is unclear and we thought it might be a fun day out but spent more time travelling there and back. The only time you will really spend there is in the 2nd room building lego, which you can do at home.

I visited legoland over the Christmas holidays with my nephews and it was an amazing experience, they loved lego and they were not disappointed as there was many different lego activities. The center had two rides and they both are family friendly, the staff were very friendly and welcoming, two staff members stood out in nasser who helped clam my nephew and took a great photo which I bought later on and Sabah who helped teach me and my nephews the proper way to build a lego car. The center was very clean, there is a cafe there that offers many varieties of food all reasonably priced. I enjoyed my day and would definitely be visiting again, I recommend any family that loves lego to go visit!
