I have been here several times with my friend Viv & our dogs, mainly in a morning, the dogs can run free, tho get mucky!!! It is a very beautiful place to walk, either with dogs or children, on some days you can buy a bacon butty and sit to watch the ducks, swans and signets on the pond. I called in yesterday to take calls from my mobile, I could have sat there for hours, the ducks were skittering across the res, a signet was gliding gracefully across the pond. I will be staying over Christmas and visiting the reservoir with mine and my friends dogs, I can't wait. At the moment I recommend your wellie's! But to enjoy a peaceful walk and view nature I can't fault it.

A lovely spot to relax and enjoy a great walk along the canal. The local volunteers have/are doing a great job of keeping the place nice and clean and tidy.
While there keep a eye out for some lovely water voles and fantastic wildlife well worth a visit
