We booked quite last minute online for the Aladdin escape room. My wife and I have done escape rooms before but this was a first for our ten year old nephew.

We arrived early and received a warm reception from Liam, everything was smooth as we had checked in online in advance. My wife explained to Liam that our nephew hadn’t done an escape room before and he assured us that Aladdin was perfect for a first timer/child and he’d ensure it was fun. As we were early we had a drink in the waiting area whilst they set the room up the we were taken through the necessary health and safety info, do’s and don’t before being taken to the room.

Liam went straight into character mode, setting the scene and introducing us to the escape room - a truly Oscar winning performance from someone who, if he isn’t a thespian, he really ought to be.

The room itself was fun, challenging but didn’t go down the serious tone some of them do. Liam managed the game well and, as out nephew is only ten, we allowed him to summon help when he was struggling - and Liam continued to appear over the speakers, completely in character, either dropping hints or giving guidance. The room was staged well, great decor and a good level of interaction was required, which kept our nephew engaged and not wandering off when getting stuck.

Towards the end of the game our games master changed to Adam who continued in character until we eventually broke free, and he was there to greet us.

We did it in 51 mins and 32 seconds (with some help from the genie!), though I think if we were with our friends would maybe have been around the 45 minute mark - the record in the board is 35 minutes!

All in all, this was a great experience and we’d really recommend the Aladdin room if you’re a beginner or taking children. If you’re a bit more experienced/serious, you might want to try a harder room to get your money’s worth.

The room and Escape Hunt as a whole get a. If thumbs up from us!!

(Photo opportunities at the end of the room might be something to consider).

Thank you so much Liam and Adam!!

Me, my 3 kids (aged 19,15 and 7) and my daughter's fella came here the other night we did the Alice themed room. Our host was lovely we got a little lost so he called and came to find us bless him. All covid measures were explained and supplies given to us. The game was great tied into the story nicely and all the kids got involved, there were nice little secrets and puzzles to get our teeth into and memory tests. The room was amazing it set the scene well. My youngest wants to do Aladdin next and my middle son wants to try The Finest Hour. We managed to get out with nearly 7 mins left and was told we were the first successful team of the day out of the 8 that had tried it.

Can't wait to come again

Kirsty was amazing! The voices she put on and her enthusiasm really made the experience so fun. I’ve done a few escape rooms but this one is one I’d recommend, it’s really challenging and the special effects are great. My one criticism is that there be a timer on the wall so we can see how much time has passed/how much we have left

We went on New Year's Day as a couple to the Alice in Puzzleland room and Ella looked after us. We've done escape rooms before, so knew what to expect, but we had a great time in the room. We definitely used the hints and getting them in character was fun, but I would say it might be good that the messages are displayed on a screen too as understanding the audio wasn't always clear.

The theming was great and well executed, there was one puzzle with valves on that I didn't think was clear enough, so we got stuck on that. Unfortunately we didn't get out, but we had a great time and we'd go back again to try another room.

As others have said, I think having a winners / losers sort of board / themed area to have a photo of we could keep would be a good idea.

As I say, Ella looked after us very well and was always on hand to give us clues when we needed them and did a superb job at remembering the story before we went in!

This was my first escape room, wanting to do a highly themed room, we chose Alice, taking my girlfriend and mate with me. From the moment we walked in I enjoyed the atmosphere, a very polite Ella told us the crack with our booking and we went through the 'rules'. When we went into the room I was so impressed from start to finish, the theming is SO immersive, and Ella our games master was incredible, well into character and only communicating with us when really needed, the perfect balance. The room and the puzzles are just fantastic, so many things to do, solving one puzzle to lead onto to another, not what I expected at all. Throughly enjoyed the challenge, I would highly recommend it, and if you have Ella as your games master you are in for a real experience!

A group f 12 of us enjoyed 2 different escape rooms that were fun, challenging and engendered team spirit. The clues were interesting and the detail in each room was very clever. A couple of clue props were broken or not working but this did not detract from the overall fun time. The staff were friendly and engaging and keen to help everyone enjoy their time.

This was our first Outdoor Escape Game. Courtney explained the whole process brilliantly and as soon as we started we had no problems figuring out what we needed to do! The whole experience from start to finish was brilliant and the ingenuity to create a game like this that is all outdoors using a tablet and items from a case was fantastic. Will definitely be back to do some of the indoor games once opened and would recommend this to anyone looking to try something different to the usual escape rooms.

We booked this a couple of days beforehand so choice was a little limited, but we plumped for the Dalek escape room. There were three of us, two have done a few rooms before and one who hadn't.

We were welcomed upon arrival and given the health and safety routine as well as introducing the story we were about to be involved in. We were then given our roles and shown in. The next hour we were given to solving a few puzzles with us being given just enough information to complete the task with 4 minutes to spare, without too much hand holding.

With two adults and a student we managed to find a discount code and the price came to around £63.00 for the three of us.

Overall an experience enjoyed by the three of us, where we will return and try another room at some point, highly recommended for experience escape roomers or first timers.

We had a great morning at Escape Hunt. Ella was fantastic as she introduced us to the game and put us at ease. She was very kind when one of our party felt unwell and I am grateful for her help and compassion. The virtual reality game itself was fantastic, and I would recommend it to anyone looking for something fun to do.
