Came here a few times, not sure if I’m going the wrong way but there aren’t many proper paths so you end up tramping through fields a lot.
Good parking and plenty of picnic tables if you bring your own.
The cafe in an old barn looks great but can only serve takeaways at the moment. We had breakfast sandwiches hot drinks and cakes , for two approx £12 so not bad.
You can even borrow a blanket, nice touch.

Free parking today. Not sure why but the machine was covered over. Had a good walk. We stayed high as the lower paths were probably very muddy due to all the rain and the number of people walking
Great walk. Not too many people as it was a week day
Toilets open. Had take away hot chocolate and a HUGE piece of yummy carrot cake
Plenty of out door seating

Called in here two or three times. Nice site and friendly little cafe, all with some great views.

Main drawback for us is the amount of dogs and dog mess. We were one of the very few people without dog(s).
The walks would be great, if not for having to spend most of the time looking down to make sure you don’t step in it or one of the dog bags that lazy b*****ds just throw away. What with that and owners that can’t control their pets and find it highly amusing when they run up to and jump up at people.

Just keep the damn things on a short lead if you can’t control them and clean up responsibly for everyone’s enjoyment of a lovely place.

Waseley is great for walks and views. Bring your boots as can get muddy on trails. Play area for younger children.
Car park has now got a pay and display machine. Doesn't take cash only contactless or card.
Coffee shop is currently closed and says closed until further notice.

Went for a walk around the hills in spring and it was stunning. The bluebell walls are absolutely stunning! Take your camera and go for a wander. The downside is there's a lack of markers along the way so it's really easy to get lost and we had to ask some people as we'd lost the path. More markers would be a good idea. There's a nice cafe by the car park and amazing views from the top of the hill. A lovely day out for a good walk!

We have visited and walked to and from this park many times. It is a great place for a half or whole day out as a couple or family. If you fancy a good walk there are a number of inter connecting paths/walkways to and from the Lickey Hills via the surrounding park or as an alternative through the fields into the farm and back along the narrow country road. Good restaurant on site at both ends.

Why do these lovely places charge for parking.???.It was my intention to take the G children here and spend money in the shop that is there too.I am the registered carer for my wife and just couldnt justify paying for parking on top of spending in the shop too.Just smacks of greed to me.

We are on a very small budget so visited the LIckey Hills Nature Centre instead.Free parking for everyone and even a decent place for cars with either a disabled driver or passenger to gain easy access to the centre and seating out the other side.

Over the bank holiday weekend decided to drag myself off the sofa and hit the hills. My wife and I decided to visit Waseley Hills Country Park to do the Rabbit walk trail.

Good:
The views are amazing
Every trail is well marked and easy to follow
A trail for everyone no matter your level of fitness

Bad
We arrived at the car park and were disappointed to find the car park is pay and display
Litter around the picnic area
Dog bins overflowing so bags had to be left on the grass

Overall the park is lovely but it needs someone to maintain the picnic area which is disappointing as the bins need emptying and as it states this is were the car park money goes it is a bit of a shame.

Without a doubt to walk over the Waseley Hills is an amazing experience, we went earlier in the year when my husband was on a day off from work and said we would love to go on a Summers evening We have recently had some very hot weather where it would probably be too hot to walk in the day so on a Saturday evening we arrived at 7 pm only to read the gates will be locked at 8 pm.! This is a ridiculous time to lock these gates and denies people a chance to walk these beautiful hills in the evening as there is nowhere else to park. Why are they shut so early, Lickey Hills do not lock their gates until 9 30 and then there is parking on the road outside , Clent Hills close at 9pm but again cars can be parked on the road outside so why are these gates locked at 8pm. This needs to be changed so people can have access to the hills. A charge is made for parking anyhow so it would surely bring in extra money from the many people who would use it.

Criticising a country park for being "just countryside and hills" is like saying there's too much Mickey Mouse at Disneyland. If you have kids with energy to burn this is a perfect, and cheap, excursion.

Brilliant playground, cafe and visitors centre. Wonderful place to take children if you're looking for an alternative to overcrowded, dirty inner city parks.
