Casa De Maris Spa & Resort Hotel

Amazing hotel, all the staff were so friendly and helpful, the male animation staff one tried to be a little too friendly towards my daughter but I kept my eye on him. The restaurant staff were amazing and had the same table ready for us as soon as we walked in and couldn't do enough for us. The waiter on the beach was amazing and so attentive, but I just couldn't remember his name kept us hydrated all day. A short walk to shops or a bus very frequently right outside was very cheap. me and my daughter went shopping late at night but felt so safe. I would be careful if you booking with anyone who doesn't book through a travel agent, that you don't have a rep come see you, like us we booked through love holiday so no rep, we were stopped by a man in our hotel saying he was our rep and tried to get us to book trips through him (very over priced) glad we didn't, we were told by someone there that they obtain our details and then try to overcharge for trips. We went for a walk down the strip of shops, and there are stalls all over selling trips and days out. We booked a boat trip at a fraction of the price, and it was an amazing day out well worth doing. The only slight negative is the pool is quite small and we never managed to get a bed ( unless you get up at stupid o'clock) but the beach is right outside and beautiful 😍.

As it was out first time visiting Turkey we had an open mind and didn't know what to expect. The hotel is absolutely lovely, the decor is very stylish, rooms are spacious and very clean, they have everything you need for a great stay. There was plenty of choice with the food and it was excellent, it was an extra touch to see the chef watching over and making sure everything was ok. The service is excellent - we prefer the beach to the pool and were served all day long with drinks - the waiter is a lovely guy. We wandered across the road and came across a small barber shop. What a find. His name is Sudem Busem - my other half had a haircut, beard trim and shape, waxing of his nose and ears (which he didn't know he was getting), a shampoo and a head and arm massage - all for £6! Unreal. He is located just across the road from the hotel, there is a bike hire place on the corner, go past that and he is there on the left. A really great guy too. All in all - we had a fantastic time. We loved the hotel.

The most welcoming hotel I have ever been. The bar is open 24hrs serving amazing drinks, also there is a cake bar for anyone who needs something sweet. All the managers are lovely and welcoming. There is entertainment every single night and different food. The gym is small, located inside the SPA area. Highly recommended

An amazing hotel with exceptional service where you will want for nothing. Delicious food and drinks, particularly the pina colada cocktails with a huge and varied selection. Lovely pool area and they have a private pier with loungers and full drinks service. An exceptional hotel with wonderful staff and I can not wait to get back. I also had the best massage I’ve ever had by the amazing Nana.

I've been to this hotel twice in 2023 once with a friend and once with my partner. This hotel is a good place to stay. I can't fault the cleanliness and facilities. The food is very good as are the drinks. The room both times was very clean and spacious. Location is good with easy access to the beach which the hotel has its own private section. The entertainment on the one night we attended the pool area to watch a show was fantastic and unexpected. We've been to Disneyworld in Florida and watch shows in different places around the world and in Dubai. The Standard of the show performed was actually amazing for a hotel show. I can't fault this hotel, the effort is there to maintain good standards and you can see this when staying there.

Amazing food, location, hotel, room, staff and and and can't wait to go again. Transfer was 1.5 hours but well worth it when we arrived. Definitely 5 star, highly recommend Marmaris area. Very romantic. Mini buses to town very cheap.

Firstly if you are wanting 5 star then be ready to be disappointed. I would expect a 5 star hotel to have flannels, an iron and proper spoons (not sticks) to stir your tea in the morning. The majority of people staying there were from the north of England and Scotland and had booked with Jet2. They seemed to have got very good deals, and some of the guests have their own FB page which is great for room tips etc. We upgraded to a suite and this was beautiful with a large balcony that had 2 sunbeds on, so we didn't have to battle to get one round the pool. Yes they put the towels out very early!! We didn't spend a lot of time round the pool, the service from staff was very hit and miss, they seemed to have their favourites that were given better service. We wanted an ice cream at 350pm one day (they close it at 4pm) and we were refused as it was too late!! They have a foam party every Wednesday which was fun to watch. The hotel is located away from the main resort, but the Dolmus minibuses are really cheap and frequent. There is also a taxi rank very close. Staff in the restaurant were lovely, special mention to Lilley, Elif and the forever smiling Remzi. Also Ruby in the spa (lovely Turkish bath and massage) and Mary at reception were excellent. Figen kept our room spotless, probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have stayed in. The beds were very comfortable, but I would have expected a dressing table in the room. When I asked they provided a little table for me. Some of the negatives. The corridors are very dark and the carpets are stained. The entertainment was awful, bingo, music quiz and Karaoke, but that didn't bother us too much, however the constant booming of music round the pool each day was terrible. Some people who had stayed earlier in the year, said the entertainment had been much better before. Buffet food was not always hot and items weren't labelled each day. We arrived late on the first day and they provide soup and rolls late at night each day, this was much appreciated. The food was quite repetitive, and we were very disappointed that the fish restaurant was closed, you had to pre order your main course in the Turkish restaurant which was only open a few nights of the week. The outside lunchtime offerings were very good, but you can't have them in the restaurant when we asked. Then we saw other people having burgers and pizzas delivered to the main restaurant!! We ate out a couple of times even though it was all inclusive, so that we had some variety. The cocktails were very sweet and the white wine was not great, so I ended up having soda in it. There was another couple who were staying for over 3 weeks and had been there earlier in the year. They asked for a better wine and were given it, so there were double standards. The cake display and selection was lovely. I would say if you have a visual problem, take no notice of the lift telling you what floor you are on, it announces every floor wrong! On the whole the staff were lovely, however the man (I think his name was Farhat) who manned the main bar every night, was so miserable and grumpy, definitely needs some customer service training.

Rooms amazing food so good and the staff couldn't do enough for you vebi amazing always smiling and bar staff were brill so clean and cleaning staff they were realy good would ho out there way to make you welcome

Stayed at the Casa De Maris for 3 nights and 4 days in mid November. The hotel was getting ready to close for the winter. We were given a beautiful room with a sea view. The housekeeping was excellent and it was very clean and comfortable. The mini bar and tea & coffee were replenished daily. Being out of season we didn't expect any entertainment so we weren't suprised that there wasn't any, but one evening there was karaoke which is not really our sort of thing but the other guests seemed to enjoy it. During the day there was a DJ in the pool area so we could make some requests for some favourite tunes. The staff working the bars and in the restaurant were attentive and all worked hard. These areas were kept very clean. The team of chefs and kitchen workers provided well cooked food. Again because the hotel wasn't at capacity there probably wasn't as much choice as there usually would be but it was sufficient for our needs. The situation was around 4 Kms out of town but the dolmuş passed frequently so no problems getting in and out of town if you don't like walking. All in all an enjoyable stay and one which we will probably repeat at the same time next year.
