The Vegas venue, in the heart of Blackpool. Hosting year round shows for everyone with a wide range of regular and one off performances with plenty of entertainment to choose from. A large Vegas style venue with 3 rooms all boasting restaurant dining, bars and 5 star service.
Show more...I Booked a table for 4 for the Independence Elvis tribute night Saturday 03/07/21 . Organised chaos would be an understatement to describe the bar service for this Gig .
One Waiter walking about with a TABLET taking orders for drinks . We were first in the door and one of the last to be served drinks , 55minutes later our drinks Arrived with no Ice and warm Coke. We had to ask on three occasions for backing lights on the stage to be dimmed as we couldn’t see the act . We had complained to the female duty manager, who was walking around in a daze . We eventually got up and left the venue and asked for a refund , Which was not given Would not recommend this overpriced venue to anyone. Cant comment on the tribute acts as we never seen them
We booked viva for new years eve, paid top price for 5 tickets expecting to watch a great show. The bar stool seats were cheaper but we thought we would treat ourselves and our 3 adult kids to better seats and paid the top price. We were very disappointed when we were seated next to the kitchen, near a little snack bar. We could see absolutely none of the stage! Money wasted. The bar stools actually had a good view and we regret not booking them instead. I also ended up with gravy on my coat, I assume this is from staff going in and out of the kitchen.
So all in all, we paid good money to see a show we couldn't physically see, and the table placement caused staff to ruin my coat.
Also I assumed it was adult only, but there was a few babies crawling around the floor, I must not have read the website properly so that parts my own fault.
Sadly this event was not value for money.Venue good staff friendly and hard working, room large. However, it is upstairs I watched a man struggle on the fast moving metal stairs that was the speed of treadmill! It was dark and had a musty smell. On the events topic- I have been to several meet and greet snooker events . At those there was a chance to mingle and chat to the players. You could take your own snaps etc. Being taken past the players in a conveyor style was degrading, it was a file past, quick picture then onward to your small table crammed in, was an insult. I was amazed the signed photo as a result of the 30 second 'meeting' was a further £25.00? We were instructed to arrive at 6pm prompt, we did, we were kept waiting until 6.20 pm in a crowded cold reception. The event itself was 3 frames of snooker , we could not see the table despite a VIP ticket only able to view on a grainy projector. It would have been better to take a cheaper ticket, you see more. Q&A so brief not worth it. Another money making attempt a raffle and auction we hoped for charity? We would have certainly taken part if that was the case. That did not seem to be the case however , someone asked and no comment to say what it was for was made, so we did not take part. I love snooker, the three people involved are all lovely and the staff at VIVA are excellent but value for money?!! I don't think so. I won't be attending again for similar events. All over by 9.50 pm .
Show more...Visited as a family of 5 to see crazy comedy company show (show was good although short for what we paid, will review separately!) and the whole entire experience was a complete shambles from start to finish. Firstly after paying £84 for our tickets Viva took our money and did not generate a booking. Called to find out what had happened was assured it would be sorted out and that they could see the table was reserved but not assigned to me…..I then had to chase them for days on end to get a resolution to this and PROVE I had paid it after they said continually there was no booking, had me sending screenshots, card numbers etc. Numerous phone calls and emails not returned, keep saying they will call back….whilst I’m sat out of pocket. Eventually resolved days after initial phone call to try and resolve with no apology I might add (blamed worldpay….) and only because I persevered and refused to be ‘called back’ again. Even on the final call when box office manager(?) sorted it out she told me one of the meals must’ve been a young child as she couldn’t get it to come out at £84? It wasn’t. After all the hassle I’d had you would think she would have put it through without question but nope I was still being questioned. By this time I really didn’t even want to go but was assured she would be there on the night, guess what? No sign and still no apology….
Arrived 40 minutes before showtime and was handed a paper handwritten ticket to take upstairs where we were shown to our table by a Scottish gentleman who was pleasant and helpful. Our ‘table’ was 2 tables of different heights one of which the top was coming off and you couldn’t lean on it whatsoever as it was so wobbly, we looked under the tablecloth and it was like something from the dungeons and covered in paint….
Food was 4 options, I chose lasagne, 10 minutes later I was informed there was none. Ended up with yorkie pudding wrap that was like rubber and chips that were cheapest of the cheap produce as were the kids ‘chicken’ nuggets. The bone dry salad leaves were clearly for decoration only. My husband had sausage and mash which resembled glue. But the Icing on the cake was my youngest daughters cheese pasta that was still crunchy frozen in the centre….when returned we were given a round of drinks on the house. Great, but for a family show there were no kids drinks stocked, no apple juice, no fruit shoots or similar it was tropical cordial or nothing.
Whilst stood at the bar my husband overheard a staff member being spoken to about his uniform, hardly professional.
The show lasted around an hour from start to finish. The show itself was actually really entertaining and the kids enjoyed it but the venue, the food and the experience was one massive disappointment with ZERO customer care.
Hi there went to the family comedy show the venue inside nice. Don’t waste your money your only sat down at the show for 5.30pm start and it all ends at 6.20pm. All about food and drinks before it and that’s it. Fine if you looking for 40mins show. They shouldn’t be charging adults if that’s the case. All about kids and prizes are packet of crisps. Lot of nonsense, also daughter was on stage then she put her hand up again and the guy knocked her confidence saying you been up before. Definitely rude and will take lots of popularity away from venue. The service is crap don’t order food or drinks.
Show more...I was very disappointed with my visit unfortunately. The whole night seemed erratic and unorganised. There was only 1 of 2 games of bingo played. The queue for the bar was so long I had to bulk buy drinks which then went flat. There seemed more than enough staff to serve but only one on each bar and the pop up bar wouldn’t serve me any soft drinks for my 2 children (no signage for this) so I ended up queuing for over half an hour at both bars on one occasion. I wasn’t drinking spirits as I was on my own with 2 children so ended up on lager - this was completely flat and almost warm! We queued for over half an hour for the pizza buffet for both my children to end up with nuggets and chips instead! I queued for nearly 40 minutes for a hot pot ! When we were told they would come to us table by table to go and get them and instead the DJ just randomly shouted right change of plan go and get your food so it was a manic rush ! I’m not at all impressed and will not return and would like some sort of reimbursement please
Show more...Booked for two at a table for two and a bottle of wine at the table
Correct bottle this time
The booking was made at the same time as the previous nights show, unfortunately we received this message the next night
Want to visit again?
We'd love to welcome you back with a ££ money off discount!
So we could have had the same tickets cheaper
Stage is too low you cannot see all of the act.
Sound levels far too high, sound distorted. Having worked in industry we had to wear ear plugs in that sound levels
Expected an ABBA tribute act but the "STARS" were the same ones from the previous night, more like a karaoke that a tribute act
The enjoyment of the show is very dependent on the people around you especially on the table behind you. Unfortunately we ended up with a group of four one of which wanted to talk about anything except the show this meant that we heard more of his adventures that the show. Luckily of us the lady at the table must have been just as fed up as us and she left half way through the show taking the others with her. Rest of the show was good if too loud
If we did we would be very careful about which seats to pick and take ear defenders
We went to Take That/Bruno Mars experience. Venue need to sort tickets and seats out as what you book online is different layout to when you get there. No tickets issued when you arrive due to covid so we were just handed a slip of paper with table number. When we went upstairs we were met by a member of staff to be shown to our seats but he then got another member of staff to come over to tell us that they had double booked our seats. We were offered a side seat near the front with limited viewing and half the party couldn’t see anything. Good job the show itself was good as we had seen both acts previously in Benidorm but staff venue attitude needs improving else it will be closed down. Staff couldn’t understand why I was angry with having to accept rubbish seats when booked front row seats. Also they need to take the posters off the front that says welcome to come in for a no obligation look when you get shouted by staff to get out and come back later. Drinks very expensive, queues fir the bar and not all drinks available. Overall, good show but crap venue
Show more...I travel every year with young children to Blackpool. this year wanted a show so booked viva Blackpool venue for the family cabaret show on 01/08/2020.
On 29/07/20 i got an email advising the show was cancelled, I've waited until today 16/08 to even get a response to the 3 separate emails I've sent in between.
The have now advised me the refund will be processed minus the booking fee £10 which i would understand if i had cancelled but i didn't they did. So why am i penalized, i know its only £10 but the fact is if i decided not to show up i wouldn't get anything back so why if they cancel do they get to keep a fee for themselves?
Viva! admission prices can vary. Entrance tickets currently cost $24.46, while a popular guided tour starts around $24.40 per person.

Went to this venue for a Xmas party night on 30/11/19 with a party of 22. Food was awful.served luke warm and very bland. Service was also very slow, with drinks ordered at your table (and paid for in advance) then taking at least 30 minutes to arrive! Just after the show started, we had to evacuate the premises due to a fire on the stagecaused by a prop pyrotechnic being set off and setting alight a nearby Xmas tree (you couldn’t make it up!). The show eventually resumed about one hour later, but due to the trauma of the fire and the freezing cold temperatures outside, 18 members of our party had called it a day and gone home. All subsequent attempts to secure a refund have fallen on deaf ears, with repeated emails and phone calls just being arrogantly ignored!
Show more...If you are looking for a good night out, that provides good food and service, and which treats customers with respect, then this is definitely not the place to go! Please avoid at all costs and spend your hard earned money at a more worthy and deserving venue.
