Cheeky Chimps

Visited here once with the grandchildren. It is ok. Not much in the way of supervision or staffing. Had a nice coffee and bun. Friends recommended Alley Cats which we all preferred.

Cheeky chimps is great. My 3 year old loves it. It also has a bouncy castle which is a bonus. It is started quite clearly that parents must supervise their children while in the play area so the staff are there to man the kiosk and keep the place clean which it generally is.

This place used to be disgusting but now under new management. It shows, the toilets are nice and clean and your feet don't stick to the carpet anymore. I can now take my kids to play safely whilst I can relax with a coffee and a snack without worrying I will get food poisoning. It's smaller than Alley Cats, which I prefer as my kids are younger so easier to keep an eye on them. Thankfully they don't blast that awful music like they used to.

Shocking management, arrived to be told they were 'at capacity' (2 people were allowed in just in front of us). We decided to wait as we were told it was 'one in one out' then a lady 4 people behind us was miraculously given a table with her 2 kids,despite us being at the front of the queue. Asked the manager what capacity was and was told 'its when we feel it's full'
A shambles.

This place should shut down discusting and staff are something else spotted a child had had an accident and was failed to be cleaned alerted staff 15 minutes later still not cleaned 2 girls standing at desk in conversation swearing and talking about night out maybe when you employ staff to work in an environment with children they would be of more decent nurture most certainly will not be back

Not bad if you have older children but my son at 9 months didn't have much to play just a pile of toys that didn't work.
It was clean enough and older children who could run around and play had more to do but prefer to go to alley cats in future

Cheeky Chimps is now back to how it used to be, nice and clean and toilets that don't give you a headache from the smell! Its great to see that the new owners have given it a fresh lease of life. A great place for indoor fun for kids.

Took my 2 year old son in for the morning breakfast club. I arrived at just after 10 and was informed there was 65 P1 children coming. My son was already excited to be there so I decided to stay. He was pushed, shoved, forced off things he was playing on and at one point was kicked in the kicked (by accident) by one of the school children. The teachers just sat drinking tea,chatting and didn't supervise the children in their care. My son was scared and I had to leave with him long before we intended to. I messaged the company before 11am on facebook. They finally looked at the message just before 7pm and then completely ignored it. They don't care about the kids or the concern of parents. Seems money in the till speaks more than the voice of their customers.

Took my 3 year old son here yesterday and I have to say it's one of the better soft play areas as ours suitable for smaller children. It's not too big and equipment is not too high that we could keep an eye on him better than in the bigger places. Lovely coffee and tray bakes and free juice for the children. Great place.

I had the pleasure of taking my 2 grandsons here , they are aged 3 and 7. They were offered free breakfast, (juice, toast or cereal) I had coffee and it was very good. The kids had a blast, it was clean and everyone was very friendly. A great way to get rid of lots of extra energy !!
