First visit since lockdown, not happy about parking fees in place but its a sign of the times, still a great place to have a walk and enjoy the views and river dwellers.
Show more...A visit to the Trent bridge area of Nottingham has to include a walk along the embankment, made pleasant by the sunshine and others enjoying this free area to explore.
Show more...Experienced the the marvellous walk along the embankment in February, in rather warm weather didn't feel right for the time of year, plenty of activity as maybe some of the wildlife is a bit confused with the warmth, still a lovely stretch of the Trent to walk along. Free parking on the embankment on a not match day.
Show more...The riverside area is very easy to get to, on foot, by bus and, there is a car park if you need one. There is nothing much here, at least when the Riverside Festival isn't on, but it is a nice place for a short walk.
Show more...My grandads wake was booked here and as soon as we got here we had a rude bar maid trying to rush us! And then started an arguement with a member of the family!
No sense of respect as to where we have been!!!!
Absolutely disgusting'
Will never return
On a September weekend full of sunshine, a walk along Nottingham Victoria Embankment was beautiful, the extra glow with all the grass, trees and water made everything better, even better boats on the Trent made it glorious.
Show more...Great to walk along embankment watching the rowing boats going up and down practicing on a lovely sunny day so relaxing
A few lovely pubs all do good food a great part of Nottingham then of course you can walk over to West Bridgford and walk into the town centre
3 of us went to the Pizza Night last week and were extremely disappointed with the shrunk sizes pizzas we were served! We've been to the Embankmnt loads of times and have always enjoyed the 2 4 1 Pizza Nights. Sausagefest hardly had any sausage and the Sloppy Joe wasn't up to the usual high standard either. What's happened? We reckon you've cut everything back to make more profit, like many other places. I've always given an Excellent review before now, but not today!! You need to do better- the service could've been improved- very mediocre too! Definite room for improvement!
Show more...I visit the Embankment almost every day to walk my dog so feel very blessed to live just a few minutes walk from the magnificent River Trent. The Memorial Gardens and fountains are glorious and the garden is very well kept. The children's play park is a great spot for the children and in summer the paddling pool is probably one of the best free entertainment spaces for families of all backgrounds. I really like the fact that the Bean by the River cafe has opened, great to be able to grab a coffee on a chilly day. The Embankment is a fantastic boon for the city - more people should get to know it - not just at festival time but all year round.

A pre-Lockdown part two walk along the Victoria embankment in the sun was a great way to start the week, quite busy with other walkers, dog-walkers and cyclists its popular but plenty of room for all and the swans & ducks, well worth the time.
