Show more...Such a great place to visit, even if you don't know much about Warhammer. I visited with friends (who do love warhammer) to spend a few hours exploring the the sets on the museum tour and it was such a fun experience. I wish I could have stayed longer!
I really enjoyed seeing the massive sets with such an incredible amount of detail that no matter where you look or how many times you've looked in the same place, there's always something new to find.
The staff that we encountered were also wonderful and I had a brilliant time. I definitely want to visit again to draw some of the minis and displays they have and have another adventure.
Wow, wow, wow.
D&D was my game of choice when I was a kid. Since then I'd heard of Warhammer but knew nothing of it.
My son asked me last month if I could take him, and as soon as I set foot in the door I was totally in awe of the place and displays.
Totally mesmerized by the diplays and detail, and my son explaining to me as much as he knew.
The gaming area was a pleasure to see with the gamers and all the work they had put into their setup's. Delicious food in the restaurant very polite and knowledgeable staff. Listening to the he excitement of people who obviously played, around you.
For a man of 51yrs I was shocked at how much I enjoyed this place and just wanted to study every piece on display.
Thankyou to my son for taking me.
I absolutely love coming to Warhammer World, I've been on several occasions. The staff are extremely helpful, knowledgeable and friendly, and take their time to look after you if you have any questions or want to learn any painting techniques. The food and drinks are good in Bugman's, and the exhibition is incredible. As a painter and fan of Warhammer, it's an excellent day out!
Show more...This is the fourth time this year we have been to visit Warhammer World and we have yet again thoroughly enjoyed it the whole place was amazing, it was lovely to see some models and get inspiration for our painting, we had quite a few games and enjoyed having the chance to play on bigger board tables, we also had the experience to build and paint a model each having help and support from the members of staff. They were all so excited and helpful, they make the experience much more enjoyable. We went to Bugman's Bar for food and drink most of the time we were there, the staff in there were very lovely and helpful but a special mention to River who went above and beyond with her customer service. We will definitely be coming back again.
Show more...I’d just like to say a big thank you to the Warhammer crew who went above and beyond to make my sons visit to Warhammer World a very special day. Thanks to Richard and Peter for taking time out to play demo games with my son. Thanks to Amber for helping him to assemble a model and thanks to Tom for all your brilliant advise. Not only were you all brilliantly professional but you made your jobs look so wonderfully fun that my 11 year old son now wants to work with you.
Show more...I treated my partner to a day out at Warhammer World which was perfect, we went round the exhibition which was reasonably priced it was lovely to gather some inspiration. The Warhammer staff are all lovely. We had lunch in Bugman's Bar which catered our needs and allowed us to customise what we were having, the staff in there were very welcoming and the food was outstanding. The staff in Warhammer were very helpful- one staff member Ryan went above and beyond to ensure we had a fabulous time in store making us feel welcomed and taking the time to discuss what armies and fractions we play, this young man definitely made our day there more enjoyable, my partner was thoroughly impressed with the day so we both thank him for making our experience more enjoyable and because of him we will be back again soon. We had an Middle Earth Battle in the main hall where there was various mats laid out with scenery on for us to use during our game, there was even seats we could sit on whilst playing. Definitely worth the trip for us- we can't wait to come back soon.
Show more...I've been before to play some games of Warhammer and I have always loved every second of it. You have an awesome and welcoming aesthetic which adds to the thrill of playing the game. And the shop is always well stocked with whatever you could want, for all games, from both GW and Forgeworld. But on this occasion, I went to see the exhibition and I was blown away. Room after room of perfectly painted models, mini dioramas and humongous ones too. Also a few little surprises which made me a little giddy as a massive LOTR nerd. Any fan of Warhammer will love this place.
Show more...Our third visit.
Minus kids this time.
I am not into WH in the slightest, but my wife paints figures (has done for decades) and goes for research.
Our first IA was Bugman's Bar for breakfast.
A full English is a good price. It arrived promptly and was perfectly cooked (I can't manage to get fried eggs that good 😣)
The team member that took my order was very friendly and helpful.
Suitably fed, we headed into the exhibition where many photos were taken (not by me).
No doubt we'll be back.
I'll only be there for the breakfast.
Overall, great if you like Warhammer.
I like the breakfast.
A trip any fan of Warhammer 40,000 or Age of Sigmar universes must go on. The "museum" tour if a great nostalgia trip for some of us old folk and for people who have got into the hobby recently an amazing way to get up close and personal with the models painted by the 'eavy metal team, the same models we've seen in White Dwarf and online. Bugman's is a real treat too, food is great and they get it to the table fast too. As for the shopping experience, be prepared to part with that money as there is so many things to buy lol

The overall experience was fantastic with amazing displays (although it would be nice to have an exhibition room dedicated to previous Warhammer games and sets) and a large gaming area. However, there is definitely room for improvement when it came to the painting area. The only difference to the ‘starter painting stations’ in the normal stores was that there was more paints to access. This was quite disappointing as I thought there would be more activities for hands-on experience and, as there was only one staff member helping to show the many children there the necessary painting techniques, it lost some of the personal experience found in the stores. The shop also didn’t have any of the coins that they are meant to give out when customers spend a certain amount. Finally, the main reason that it lost a star was the restaurant. Firstly, annoyingly it did not open for breakfast at all but when it did finally open there was a lack of information or selection for my daughter, who needs a gluten-free diet. They were also unwilling to swap any of the items that contained gluten from the children’s all day breakfast so that she didn’t simply have half a meal.
