This was an absolutely amazing experience! It was a beautiful tour of the French countryside, informational visit to the Champagne vineyards, a unique visit to a home where a woman runs a multi-generational champagne making company with her own special recipes, an unforgettable stop at the breathtaking Reims Cathedral, a stroll through the village and market, a delicious authentic French lunch with locals at a beautiful but quaint restaurant and a memorable visit to Pommery and it's 40 miles of underground tunnels used for wine aging and event spaces. The tour included our group of 2 and another family of 3 for a total of 5 people. Trong picked us up and dropped us off at our hotel in a very comfortable minivan. He brought delicious French pastries, unique hot coffee, juice and water for our journey. The breakfast, lunch(including wine) and tastings were all included in the price. We paid nothing extra unless we wanted to buy souvenirs. All of these sights were amazing but the very best part of our trip was our tour guide Trong. He is a local farmer in Champagne and a true Renaissance man. From the time he picked us up at our hotel, he talked for almost the entire 12 hours, giving us amazing facts and history about this special area of France. He was kind, mild mannered and so very knowledgable. He wanted us to enjoy the trip and enjoy his village of Champagne. He cares greatly for the city and the people there and shared that love with our group. We learned so much, saw so many beautiful things and made a new friend in Trong. I recommend this tour to any adults visiting France. It was a tremendous value and an unforgettable day. Trong and Michelle(the lady in the office that handles the bookings) went over and above to make this a special and stress free day from the moment of booking until it was over. They are kind, honest, trustworthy and I would do this tour again in a second. This was my first trip to France and I only had 2 days. We spent one day touring Paris and the second day on this tour. I wouldn't change a thing!

We had an amazing time during our champagne tour. We gained a lot of knowledge about the region Paris and Reims, the production and the cultivation of the champagne and the art in the church of Reims. Trong did an really good job as our local guide. We tasted a lot of great champagne in two different locations. The food during our tour consisted of a breakfast and a three course lunch. Both had high quality and were super delicious.

In total it was a well balanced day and we would recommend the tour to anyone looking for a nice day trip from Paris to the Champagne.

My parents and I went on this tour today, and we enjoyed it thoroughly! Trong was outstanding as a tour guide. He is incredibly knowledgeable of Paris, the Champagne region, and the process of making champagne. He picked us up and dropped us off at our apartment in Paris and provided breakfast for us, which was all very convenient. We toured two facilities (he also took us to see a third briefly before heading back to Paris since we had time) and took us to an excellent restaurant in Reims for lunch where we enjoyed a three course meal. I would highly recommend going on this tour if you are in Paris and are interested in visiting Champagne!

I would like to start with saying that I could not recommend this tour strongly enough. If you have a day to spare when in Paris (even if you don’t, try to make one ;p)
Three friends and I took this tour in early November 2021; as my friends do not speak French, we took the tour in English (I am not certain if the tour is available in any other languages). Due to our already hectic schedule in Paris, we took our chances and reached out to Paris Champagne tour on Monday, 8th November for a tour on either the 9th or 11th.
Michelle Legrand was absolutely incredible in finding a last minute tour guide for my party in the 9th, and followed up via email with all the necessary precautions (including documentation for COVID). [side note: strongly advise downloading the french Anti-COVID app if you are not from France, your local certificates may not be sufficient]. Michelle also continued to be a massive help even after the trip.
Our tour guide, Nguyen Trong, picked us up from outside our 1e arrondissement flat in Paris with plenty of pastries, water, tea, & coffee. We learned about the history of Reims, enjoyed a magnificent lunch and impressive vineyard tour and tastings. For an avid vineyard visitor, this is the best tour I have experienced!
This entire trip with food included, hospitality, transport, scenery, tour guide knowledge of both Champagne, Paris and the surrounding areas is well worth the price; I and my friends all agreed we would do it again and even pay more.
Thank you again Trong and Michelle.

My boyfriend and I went on this tour this past January, which is clearly off-season but it was incredible and easily our favorite day on our Paris vacation. Trong was the most knowledgeable and kindest tour guide and it was impossible not to share his deep interest and love for the region after learning all that we did. The trip has the perfect amount of balance between actually learning the process of how Champagne is produced and drinking champagne, which there are multiple opportunities to do so. But I was really grateful that the trip also included a delicious meal at an authentic french restaurant, and a visit to the Reims Cathedral which took my breath away.
It is a very long day but well worth the money. We were picked up and dropped off at our hotel as well, which made it convenient and easy. Breakfast provided on the small shuttle. Absolutely go!

For our honeymoon in Paris, my wife and I wanted to go on a day trip and were supremely lucky to have found this tour. Not many people realize that Reims is only 140 km NE of Paris and thus reachable in 2 hours by car or 45 minutes by fast train. Our tour guide Trong treated us and just another couple to a wonderful time teaching us everything about champagne production and sharing so many interesting french cultural traits that cannot be perceived by going to Paris alone. Included in the trip is a visit to the original capital of France home to the beautiful cathedral where french kings of old would be crowned. Be sure to visit their website where they have set up a fantastic description of the service and know that we would 100% recommend this to any couple wanting to experience the region where the most famous kind of sparkling wine in the world comes from.

I would HIGHLY recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in, or loves, champagne. Firstly, the tour is very easy to get to from Paris. The groups are small, they will pick you up where you're staying, and take you door to door. The family champagne producer is wonderful, and shows you the entire process, plus she opened an extra bottle for us to taste!

What makes this tour truly remarkable however is the guide, Trong, is highly knowledgable about Champagne's history and culture. He is kind, funny, and goes out of his way to make the entire trip a wonderful experience. This was actually my second time on this tour, and I am so happy I went back again. Trong even bought my girlfriend and I a bottle of champagne and brought us some treats (cheese, chocolate, meats) from his wife since I was a returning customer!

10/10 would recommend!

This trip provides a full day's visit to Champagne - including a fascinating trip to a small producer as well as a household name. We were collected from the door of our hotel and returned there 12 hours later. Our guide, Trong's, enthusiasm, local knowledge and overall expertise made it a fantastic day's introduction to the Champagne region. With lunch and two tastings it represents excellent value and we would definitely recommend it.

I highly recommend this tour for anyone who is interested in the history and culture of champagne. It was much more than a typical winery stop and tasting and included an unforgettable visit to the stunning Reims Cathedral and an absolutely delicious 3 course lunch at a local restaurant. Our guide Trong was extremely knowledgeable and passionate about the region and it’s main export and left me with a whole new level of appreciation for my favourite beverage. This excursion became one of the key highlights of my recent visit to Paris. From start to finish, it was a wonderful day!

Trong Nguyen has hosted us for the Paris Champagne Tour twice now, but this was our third experience with him. He’s been an amazing guide every time! This tour is a bargain! With transportation to and from the Champagne region, pasties and hit beverages for breakfast, Vinyard tour, education about the area and wine making process and AOC, amazing lunches (both times), tours of two champagne houses, and fantastic tour Notre Dame de Reims and the surrounding area, the cost cannot have been better! We were even able to request to visit our favorite, Champagne Cuperly, and meet three generations of wine makers! Trong told us about the cost for bringing bottles back, and how safe the bottles would be in our checked luggage. This was our third time bringing bottles back, and we’ve never had a problem. The first two trips we brought them in our checked suitcases, surrounded by clothes. This time we brought wine suitcases, but still had to put a couple larger bottles in our regular suitcase, and still no broken bottles! Going through customs was a breeze, they ask you to declare the value of the wine you’re bringing back on the form, and then ask how many bottles to determine the tax you may be subject to. We brought back 19 bottles this time and were not asked to pay anything.

I urge you to make time in your Paris itinerary for this experience. You won’t be disappointed!
