We (two couples) took the hour long river trip mid afternoon. Not overly busy so it was easy to get seating. We'd booked tickets on line beforehand so there was a small reduction in the price. We've done these trips on many occasions so very familiar with all the sights along the way - sad to see Notre Dame in such a sorry state. The commentary wasn't great (French and English) with the English being hard to understand. Maybe it was because it was a a bit out of season that there didn't seem much enthusiasm on the part of the guide. But it didn't matter too much because we still enjoyed the sights and were lucky enough to have a bit of winter sunshine along the way. The starting point for the trip is down several flights of quite steep steps so not great if you have mobility issues - there may be a lift somewhere but we didn't notice it if there was. Still reasonable value for money particularly, as mentioned, you buy your tickets on-line (also means you don't have to queue when you get there).

I got the cruise and champagne package which I think was a very affordable deal ( I booked through booking.com).

It should be made clearer if you've booked through Booking.com that you need to collect your tickets first. Although you can queue up first and then go along to the ticket desk, there will be another queue at the ticket desk and you may have to wait for the next boat. We ended up just missing the boat as the quota was filled as we were walking back to board. There was then a 1 hour wait.

However, the cruise was beautiful and we did it on Christmas day which made it extra special.

There are toilets on the cruise but you need to pay 50cent to use the one on the dock.

We went on the trip at 19h45, 4 August. The specifics are given so that the terrible attitude from the waitress can be addressed. First of all, we were specifically interested in drinking champagne on this trip and bought tickets from this company since it is advertised as such. We were told there was no champagne and settled for sour white wine. We also gave the lady 5 tickets for the sour wine, but the ladies were not standing with the party of men ordering. She made such an issue and said we only gave her 3 tickets. This particular trip did not have many people on board and one would imagine that one could at least remember who already received a glass of sour wine. Having said all this, we enjoyed the beauty of the area, and the trip. I would however suggest that some training be offered to the waitress.

On my last night in Paris, I thought it would be nice to get a river cruise with commentary down the seine river. After being sold this, I got on the boat and started the cruise. The boat was full and only the front and rear speakers were working, so in the middle I could hear nothing but muffles which were being drowned out by the engine noise. I brought it up with the attendant who was more interested in selling lemonade than helping out, and after I asked 3 times she reluctantly went to speak to the boats captain. Then some lady came out and walked up and down the boat and then nothing. I then approached her (almost half of the cruise was done by than stage) and she simply said the speakers are working, what more do you want.

When we got back to land, I requested for a refund, after which after 20 mins of arguing the lady said no managers were available at all and that I’d have email a support person. After emailing them, they admitted to a problem with the speakers (finally!!) and offered a replacement cruise. Sorry, but I already wasted an hour being handled by rude staff, and plus it was my last night in Paris and I had already flown home to Australia. Their response was basically sorry we don’t do refunds. I don’t know which planet they’re from, but if you don’t receive what you are offered, you should be able to get a refund.

NEVER AGAIN!!!

Good value here for this 1 hour Seine cruise; the large boat moves along at a good pace, and seeing this way is a nice vantage point. We went at 10pm -- seeing the lights really enhances the trip, in my opinion.

Bring your own cocktails to make the trip a bit more lively! And dress warmly, as the Seine at night can be cool.

The tour guide was fair -- somewhat disinterested. At the end she (indirectly) asked for tips, which we didn't provide given her lack lustre performance.

if you buy your tickets at Bike About Tours you'll save 3 euro.

I would not recommend this company. The tour is generally ok. We were lucky that we've got a more or less new boat, not the other old and small one which we have seen during out trip.
But they make a photo of you before boarding, saying that you will get a picture as a souvenir after the trip. However in the end of the day it comes out, that the picture costs 10 EUR per one print copy and 20 EUR per 4 copies. Otherwise you can not get and it will be left in their disposal, which goes across the GDPR law. By the way, the quality of the picture was terrific with a non-professional photoshoping and an ugly background. Discussion with a personnel disclosed that it is impolite and have a racist habits.
