My first trip to the circus at 32 did not disappoint. I don't know who was more excited, me or the kids.

I pre-booked the tickets online for the 1pm Friday showing. Tickets cost £30 for a family of 4 which was very reasonable. The doors opened 45 minutes prior to the show. We sat on the second to last row and had a fantastic view of the whole circus.

There were snacks and refreshments available before the circus started and at the interval. Programmes and light up toys are available to purchase in the ring (cash payments only).

The pianist and female singer kicked off the show with a spectacular start. Mooky & Mr Boo had adult's and children in fits of laughter and the performers were absolutely amazing. The stunts had everyone mesmerised.

Really good value for money and not to be missed.

First time at the circus and it certainly won’t be our last. Covid procedures are the best with temp checks, sanitizer and social distancing all in place. We paid for VIP ringside seats, worth it for the extra leg room and snacks (which are included) we also purchased a brochure for £3 whilst waiting for the show to start. The show itself is filled with amazing acts suitable for all ages. You simply won’t regret a visit here.

I attended the circus on Saturday 16th April with my husband and 4 year old daughter, and I can’t lie, we were extremely hesitant after having read recent reviews. However we had no reason to be anxious as there was absolutely nothing to dread, we had a brilliant time!!
I’m aware that the circus only started up again on April 2nd, so reviews previous to this may well be due to teething issues - but our experience was completely different to what others have had.
We visited the circus as part of the multi ticket purchased on the the Blackpool tower website and had to book a day/time in advance which completely makes sense. We paid £88 for the 3 of us to attend 3 different attractions - which we felt was very reasonable!
On arrival the staff were helpful and directed us to where we were going. We arrived around 20 minutes before the show started and I’m glad we did as it was already filling up.
We have never been to the circus at the tower before, so I can’t compare it to previous years as some others have, but we personally felt that there was a good range of acts! Mr Boo and Mooky were funny and all the kids seemed really entertained. All the performers were brilliant and so talented - so please don’t be put off by negative reviews, especially if you haven’t attended the circus before! During the interval, there was snacks, ice cream and drinks available as well as souvenirs and the usual kids ‘toys’. Again we felt the prices of the snacks and juice was reasonable! We were under £10 for a juice, large slush and tub of Pringles.
The finale was good, but I do believe it is usually on a much bigger scale with a fountain etc, but we weren’t left disappointed at all by the whole experience!

If you haven’t been before, please do note take too much note of the negative reviews. The show is really good and the performers are brilliant and clearly put their everything into the show. It lasted around 2 hours in total, including the interval.

This was our 3rd year visiting Blackpool Tower and up until now we had never been to the circus, we have been missing out on something spectacular! I have only ever been to a circus once and it was nothing in comparison to this one. Our party of 8 included my parents, husband and 4 kids aged between 8-18yrs old and we were all spell bound by the show. Each and every member of the circus had us in the palm of their hands and 2 hours felt like 10 minutes, it passed by to fast as it was so jammed packed with talent! They also did a heartfelt tribute to our NHS who have worked tirelessly to look after us as result of our current climate. Topping it all off was a jaw dropping water finale which was the perfect end to the show. Can’t wait to see it again next year!

We went to the 1pm show on a Saturday in October. They are keeping it well below capacity in line with the COVID guidelines, and in that respect everything felt safe. The show itself was great as it always is and Mooky and Mr Boo always entertain and give the impression it is something they love doing. Hopefully people find the time to go especially just now to ensure the circus keeps going and comes out the other side of this. I thoroughly enjoyed the show as I have done for many years and look forward to my next visit.

We as a family have gone to the Circus every year since I was a little boy, and on every occasion we have noted either on the guest surveys or mentioned it to staff.

The use of the extremely talented performers to sell over priced goodies is absolutely appalling! These people work so hard during the show and are then made to sell overpriced face painting, leaflets and lights. This should be there rest period. Use the million and one other staff member the towers has to sell them.

It was equally as disappointing to see the acts sat outside by the Dungeon on a dirty step having to eat their lunch. From what I can see these talented actors are treated poorly and aren't looked after like they should be!

During the long months of lockdown, we couldn't wait for indoor attractions to open again. All the family love Mooky, so the Tower Circus was always going to be the first show we chose to see.

Face masks had to be worn but the show was so enjoyable that we soon forgot we were wearing them. Mooky and his brother Boo were funny again is a worthy successor to the great Charlie Caroli. The other performers from the musicians to the acrobats were amazing too. It was nice to see Michael the Juggler create a world record (for the number of balls being juggled) and the singing of "You'll
Never Walk Alone" was very moving. I couldn't remember the singer's name but her singing was excellent.

We were welcomed into the Circus by Francis who always gives us a "feel good factor" when we meet him. The place did not feel the same when he moved to another Merlin attraction last year, so it was great to him back at the Tower.

We must congratulate the Tower Circus on it's covid measures. There were hand sanitizers around the arena, a one way system to stop people bumping into each other and there was appropriate spacing between groups in the seating areas. It was reassuring to see the staff wiping hand rails in and around the arena. They couldn't have done more to make the place as covid-safe as possible.

Well done to everybody at the Tower Circus for creating a great show and a happy and safe environment.

My first time in Blackpool with my partner, we visited the circus and absolutely loved it . I’ve been a to a good few circuses but never laughed (genuinely) so much especially at the clowns, I’m the kind to find that part a bit cringy however we both ended up in stitches, loved how a few jokes covered covid making light heart of the situation and quite refreshing from an adults point of view! The level of crowd control was really impressive as they included a more serious topic by tributing Sir Captain Tom Moore and the NHS in such a clever way. Now the reason I go to the circus is to watch the incredible acrobatics which I can add was also, very impressive. Programmes were £3 which I didn’t think was bad and I certainly appreciated the building in which the circus took place in showing much history!

Been coming to Blackpool for the last 15 years and always come to the circus which at first was amazing ringmaster dancing girls lots of amazing acts this year was very disappointed and felt let down and won’t be back. Merlin have stopped the adults going free with the relevant cereal packets think it’s only the eye online now so was £30 for me and my 10 year old used to love mooky the clown but him and his brother have being doing the same jokes for the last 5 years. Think there was 2 troupes doing 2 different acrobatic routines one lady doing gymnastics she was really good and basically a man pole dancer even the water finale was a let down with the same troupe doing there 3rd routine merlin have spent a lot of money on new rollercoasters they seriously need to put some money into there Blackpool attractions until then I will not return which is sad cause it used to be the highlight of our Blackpool holiday .

We booked two adult tickets at a total of £39. Checked website for a specific start time but couldn’t find one. Assumed ticket time of 19.30 had a built in buffer time before show start. Unfortunately this was not true.
We arrived at the door at 19.37 to be told that they had just let in the last people and the show was full. Upon asking they said show actually starts before 19.30 as they have a singer on. This was in no way clear on the website or confirmation email.
The staff were polite and we were refunded but disappointing all the same.
