Matthew (O'dammit as he calls himself) was the most rude and obnoxious employee I have ever encountered. While shopping I had to endure hearing him repeat over and over to the people who were doing a tasting that he chased women not liquor. While I attempted to do a tasting with him he demanded that no one touch their samples until he said so (not what the other tasters were doing at all). He was rude about it. Everything out of his mouth was condescending to the patrons. We always stop here for a tasting when we visit a couple of times a year but if this is considered a "model employee" then this stop will be removed from our list. I suggest if you don't want to be spoken down to and verbally abused by a chauvinist then don't bother stepping up to his counter.

Another great distillery with a variety of liquors and some great flavors of moonshine with FREE sampling. This location was packed and the one employee was incredible in the way she handled everything while making sure checking people out was #1 she entertained us why we sampled. Some people walked out but the entire thing was like free entertainment handled by a professional. I do not remember her name but it was Saturday afternoon on July 31st and we loved it!

Solid product. I really enjoyed my tasting with Brian. They have a vast array of choosings. My favorites were easily the cream based liqueurs, however, the whiskeys are also really good as well.

Everything is reasonably priced for the product you're tasting. I feel their product offers a better variety than a lot of other moonshine places in the area. I say this understanding there are several that I enjoy, but this is in the top 3 for my desired moonshine locations. They do more than just moonshine - they also offer - whiskey, cream liqueur, and vodka.

Customer service is always nice and enjoyable. I like how they are hospitable and not trying to put on a show. You're going to get more of a local feel than if you were to go to Old Smoky or Sugarland. I enjoy those places, but I appreciate the authentic locale of this environment.

Worth stopping at when passing through

Poor customer service! We arrived at 9:40 pm was told walking in the door we close in 20 min. We said ok we were waiting behind a couple doing a taste test that was almost finished. The guy with a long beard asked if we want to buy moonshine we said we wanted to do a taste first being this was our first time here. He said that they weren't gonna have time to serve us after we stood there for 5 minutes. We felt very put out and embarrassed by this. We will make sure not to recommend this establishment to anyone.
we are local businesses and frontline workers. Very Disappointing to be treated like this. We were out to prepare for a valentines day weekendended up at Junction 35 GREAT PLACE!

Walked in and this wasn't what we were looking for. However, came this far Then we met Jackson. He shared that we could taste 8 samples together they would equal just over a shot. Hey, I wanted a drink, these were free, lets do this.

I have to tell you, this was far more fun then I expected. Jackson was fun and he made the tasting an experience, not just tasting moonshine. He shared stories of how it was made, created special tasting that were unique and made it all, fun.

Yes, we each bought 3 bottles, amazing that it was a mixture of the last things we tasted. This was a masterful sales pitch made to people who make a living selling stuff. Worth it all.

Yankee's and southern people not from here have a version in our minds of moonshine. Let that go and simple stop in and enjoy This is a stop we'll talk about for a while.

Thanks Jackson.. Amazing

This place is awesome this was second time 2yrs now when I go to smoky mountains for my annual cabin trip off the main highway I stop here and do my taste test for new moonshine then load up on my favorite bottles. Jackson our server was awesome at his craft and mixing drinks to he made me a snickers it was good. His customer service was on point and he made the experience fun and you walked away with a lil knowledge of the different moonshines. This place right here is the best distillery by far to me. Will definitely be back March or for sure next summer 2021 if this pandemic allow it!!

Our experience at Tennessee Legend Distillery was AMAZING! As much as we enjoyed the various moonshine flavors and whiskey that we smuggled home with us, I think our favorite part of the experience was our Barkeep Alaina. Her customer service and knowledge about the products were spot on. Within minutes she had us enjoying moonshine and whiskey at the tasting counter and talking about the flavors to bring home and share with our friends. I would definitely recommend stopping here and planning to make a visit to the pizza place connected to the same building. If we make it back to the Smoky Mountains any time soon we will definitely plan to stop by Legend Distillery again!

Soon as we walked in the door we were greeted by Patricia with a big warm welcome and what we knew was a big smile even if we couldn't see it behind her rhinestone studded mask. LOL. It was my birthday and she took us on a perfect tasting tour of all the products they had on offer. Who knew pickle juice made a great follow up to a shot of Moonshine! Now I do! My favorite was the Spicy Mango Margarita Moonshine. Its going to make some amazing bloody mary's! We ended up stopping at this location and another one down the road. Came home with a case of these tasty beverages from moonshine to rum and a few whiskeys to boot.

We loved our free tasting at Tennessee Legend Distillery! I enjoyed every single thing I tried! We had Brian as our server, and he was so helpful and explained everything with enthusiasm. They clearly love what they do. Unfortunately, we purchased a creme that was separated and had a cottage cheese texture when we opened it when we arrived at our cabin. We called that evening and explained the situation, and they were able to refund our purchase. So, if you purchase a creme drink, make sure it is still smooth before you purchase! Otherwise, a totally delightful experience.

Maybe my hopes were too high; maybe the there was just too little to do for a Christmas vacation in Sevierville, but I bought 3 of the offerings these folks had and couldn't wait to try them. The help had the "distillery" speech down pat but that didn't make up for the raw grain burn from what they described as smooth liquor. This place proves that tequila should ONLY come from Mexico.
