What a great, great day!! My bridesmaids arranged this for me in secret and didn't tell me what we were doing until it was happening! A really well organised and executed day! All the staff were great and didn't break character at all. In particular I have to mention our team leader Priest who was AMAZING!! Definitely recommend!

Myself and 2 mates had a great day out at 'The Hive' in Liverpool. Originally we had booked the 'The Asylum' however this was unfortunately cancelled, but we were offered 'The Hive' as an alternative on the same date and time.
Our team leader was Butcher, who was a great guy and tried his best to make the experience as exciting as possible. All the staff were excellent in general and tried their best to stay in character at all times which helps the experience. There was 10 zombies in total which I found was reasonable, I must warn you that some of them are relentless and will not give up easy! Overall it was a really fun day out and I would recommend this place to anyone who loves zombies and is up for a laugh!

Accompanied my daughter to this experience day & have to admit that prior to doing it, wasn't really looking forward to it. I don't know why, I just thought my aging late forties body would let me down & I'd become fodder to the hoards! Getting to Orphan Drive ahead of time, as instructed, we sat in the car - after a few minutes, we noticed a stoic (but very well groomed!) guard appear at a set of locked gates opposite. Cammie/assault rifle, looking very much the part, setting the tone. Start time came, gates opened, you're assembled & instantly you can tell it's a well run, professional experience. I can't go in to details as that would spoil things. But these guys do things tremendously well & you're left feeling - 'Christ, s**t just got real!'

Gun upgrade was worth it. There was six in our team & the standard issue shotgun was chosen by two. They ran out of bullets with over a quarter of the experience to go. I can't say whether they over-shot or not, but the handguns/assault rifles amongst us didn't have the same problem. Worth the ten pounds upgrade fee. Only feedback I'd like to give/ suggest is : maybe give the guns out free & upgrade cartridge/ammo clips. I would have probably bought ten extra clips at £2.50 a clip & I know the shotgun lads agreed wholeheartedly!

Final bit of advice. Forget being embarrassed, just jump in & go with it & if you have chance to be your team's medic, do it! I had the time of my life!

Thanks to all of those at the Liverpool site for an absolutely tremendous experience. We'll definitely be back!

Originally booked Asylum but it was changed to the Hive, wasnt sure what to expect from it but it was fantastic. Our team lead Lima was brilliant and made experience even better!! Have been to factory last year and it just gets better every time. 1 word of warning-there are a LOT of stairs to run up and down!!!!

really fantastic experience, went to celebrate my sons 21st birthday. All of the team really play their parts brilliantly and really get everyone involved, some of the team leaders are very into their roles and make you forget this is just make believe. They really give people a hard time if they dont put in as much as they expect of them. The zombies are amazing and really put on a great display. Its all really well put together and a great way to pass 3+ hours.

Fantastic experience. Our team leader was Butcher, who was exceptional. All members of cast involved are obviously very passionate about their performance and strive to set the atmosphere. The actors playing the Zombies are phenomenal.

Can not recommend enough! I organised my brothers stag do and thought this would be a good activity to do to stop us drinking all weekend. Most of us love our computer games and tv/film so thought this would be ideal. And I wasn't wrong. Before arriving we had a few issues with booking (our problem not the companies) but the help team where fantastic and helped all the way through. We had a group of 16 so where split into two groups of 8. The whole experience was brilliant from start to finish, very well run and organised. The team never broke character which really gave you the feeling that it was real. I upgraded to the g36 assault rifle, it was well worth the extra £10, I never ran out of ammo or had to reload.
Everyone who went said how brilliant it was and we are still talking about it.
Will deffinatly be going again, maybe trying a different location.
Thanks for a great day.

Due to the red alert snow & being snowed in, we couldn’t make it from Somerset to Liverpool! Basically we were told tough & we can’t reschedule. You’ve taking our money without no experience & certainly not been helpful. It’s been crazy everywhere due to the weather as you can see on the news. No good will gesture! Appalling service.

Started off great, location is amazing, you get your guns( and pay for a pointless upgrade ). Then off you go in your team to blast some zombies, yeah !! No, I'm afraid not. I got to shoot my gun about 4 times in 1 1/2hrs, spent more time being told not to shoot. There was the grand total of 4 zombies, and found ourselves going round in circles in the very small portion of the building we used. Story was good and the place itself was quite creepy, but there were far too many people (44). Give me more zombies please !! After about half hour I started to get a little bored with going round in circles, really wanted to like this place, but left feeling dissatisfied, may try one of the other locations in the future as some of the other lads there made them sound really good.

The first half an hour is exciting and to be fair, the zombies do a good job, but the team leaders’ incessant shouting in your face becomes tedious really quickly. Be aware, most of the the time is spent running up and down the stairs of a derelict building in the dark with the leaders screaming at you to hurry up. One of our team sustained an injury and had to leave the game because of this. One guy in our team was really funny but every time he made a joke, the team leader shouted at him or tried to humiliate him. So, if you’re happy to take this really seriously, you’ll love this. If, however, you were hoping for a bit of a laugh, this won’t be for you. Also, it seemed a bit chaotic and badly organised at times. The leaders’ comms (walkie talkies) went out at one point and there were times we were on the same floor as other teams when we clearly shouldn’t have been. Cue being shouted at to run up (or down) another floor. So be aware you need to be relatively fit for this, and there’s no breaks. Also these buildings are dusty and hot and you’re not allowed to take any drinks in so you’re going to be thirsty.PS. If you’re into killing zombies, we also went to a virtual reality place called VR-Here in Liverpool, much more realistic and exciting and it only cost a tenner!
