Cave Life Hotel

Mr. Josef was such a wonderful host! We enjoyed our stay so much. He took extra good care of us, setting up transportation to and from the airports, He greeted us with a bottle of wine, and made sure our stay was beyond perfect! He made sure we safely got off to our Hot Air Balloon ride the next morning. The breakfast was amazing and the service was phenomenal. Thank you so much!

Everything was excellent! Cozy cave room, personal incredible view from the very top of Goreme, balloons in the morning, nice sunset on the balcony, tasty wine. Dear Joseph! You make your last night in Cappadocia special!

It is very close to the panorama of the city where every day if you get up at 5:45 AM you can see the balloons flying over Goreme and in the evening the sunset is fantastic If you are lucky you can see the balloons flying directly from the hotel, everything depends on their route The rooms are "CAVE" in the mountain, the cleaning is done daily and the towels are changed. Host Joseph helped us with balloon flight reservations and green and red tours It is very close to the city center Very good price quality

It was an amazing experince, the hotel is gorgeous, very clean and the location is perfect 3 minuts walking to everything you might need The owner was so kind, he helped us a lot. the breakfast is delicious as well. We stayed in the hotel in Göreme for two nights during our visit to capadoccia. The hotel is about an hour from Kayseri Airport and they arrange for shuttle transport at reasonable rates (when I say reasonable, I mean in comparison to hotels in Istanbul). Having read reviews about people saying you should experience stay at any cave hotel when in capadoccia, we decided to book the cave life. The hotel is located in the heart of Göreme city and at a good height - which is a huge plus because the view of the sunset is uncomparable. The hotel owner, Mr Joseph, is someone who makes you feel at home instantly and goes out of his way to help. He helped with suggestions on things to do and since we were interested in the Turkish hamam, he even offered to drop us to the place. The rooms are comfortable and spacious. The bathrooms are clean and well maintained. Hot water was available most times too. The hotel is a 4 minute uphill walk to the sunset point and five minute downhill to the city. There are plenty of restaurants close by. The terrace is beautiful and you can take your breakfast or simply go to the terrace to pose for some amazing pictures. Breakfast is simple yet good. Nothing elaborate or fancy but wholesome and fresh. The other staff are also very helpful , in particular Mr Atteyar, who received us when we were checking in. For those of you who are looking to stay there, I suggest you contact the hotel and arrange for the hot air balloon as well. While I was told all balloons were full the day we landed, the hotel owner had 5 slots available. This hotel is incredible value for money. Definitely definitely recommended.

The hotel was very charming and our room was great. The owner was helpful with booking our hot air balloon ride and other activities around the town. We really liked the terrace to watch the hot air balloons in the morning.

This hotel has a great location. It's quite near the Sunset Point and also quite walkable everywhere else. I guess anywhere you stay in this area of Goreme is quite good. There are hotels everywhere. But I think for the value, this place is reasonable. We stayed in their Family Room. Quite a challenge as I find it a bit dark and their beds are dented already (from the usage maybe?). Since we're staying only for 3 nights, i didn't bother complaining about it. But it would have given me a backache or something. It also doesn't feel very clean. Also, they only supplied 2 water bottles inside the room for us, knowing that this is a "Family room" with 5 guests. We had to ask for them from the staff. Their towels were a bit on the scratchy side too. On the other note, I enjoyed their breakfast very much. it has a beautiful view of the town. The owner was quite nice and friendly, and their location was great! Overall, it's just an okay stay for me. Maybe it would have been better in the other rooms. Oh, by the way, take note that there are a lot of stairs in this hotel (or any hotel in Goreme actually), so be prepared to carry your luggage up.

We were in Goreme for 2 nights, the Cave life was a perfect place to stay. It is pretty close to the Goreme downtown, the rooms are pretty clean and the breakfast is really good. Additionally, Joseph was a really nice host, he helped us a lot, getting tours, helping us with the forecast for the balloon fly and even buying for us bus tickets for Pamukkale. We need to go back in the future to Cappadocia because we were not able to fly in the balloon do to weather, for sure we will book again the Cave life.

This hotel was wonderful! Absolute bang for the buck. Location was nice, not too near the bustle of the main road in Goreme but was a nice 3 min walk away. The view was beautiful and its proximity to the sunset view point is a bonus. The rooms are simple, but the walls are all carved from rock—a real cave hotel. We wanted a more basic “authentic” experience and we couldn’t have picked a better place. The view from the terrace was lovely. The beds were very comfortable. Downside: our room bathroom always carried a smell of smoke. At first we thought it was cigar smoke but it was clarified to be coming from the hotel heating system. It was’t a complete turn off, but it would’ve been better had there been no smell at all. And of course, Joseph was a wonderful host.

We stayed for one night only in a triple room ( 3 single beds ) in a real cave room . V clean , on a lower floor , no view , but a v spacious common seating area for relaxing outside our room number 9 ,, this common seating area is shared by 3 other rooms located on the same lower cave level. They do have a breakfast area n also other terraces/ open areas with seating arrangements with views. It is a steep climb up hill from the main market / bus stand to this hotel .This wasnt a problem for us but could be for elderly people with mobility issues or families with small children.We didnt eat breakfast as we had an early morning checkout. The staff n the owner both are polite.At the price at which we got this room its real value for money .
