While exploring beauty of Cappadocia I wanted to get escaped to the famous cave hotel. The rates got was super bargain but sadly due to tight travel plan stayed only 2 days. As I entered to my den, it was mind blowing!! No words to express that experience living alone in a cave which is so luxury and cozy with a private balcony giving entire bird’s eye view cityscape. Early morning enjoying the view of hot balloons sitting quietly in the terrace is a different level of serenity. The staff is so friendly and very welcoming and accommodating. Well recommend this tranquil experience

We chose Arif Hotel based on online reviews, captivating pictures, and the allure of staying in caves. Our experience surpassed expectations, making it one of our best stays to date. Our stay added lasting memories to the mesmerizing experience Kapadokia already offered. a) The staff's hospitality at Arif made us feel like part of their family. b) The breakfast, featuring authentic Turkish delights, prepared especially to our vegetarian preferences topped with delightful chocolate pancakes prepared just for our 4-year-old son. c) The hotel's proximity to the city central area makes it walkable to every interesting point in the city. d) Prior to our trip, Betty proactively addressed all our concerns and requests via WhatsApp, ensuring a smooth and personalized experience. A heartfelt thank you to Betty, Ahmad, Uhmed, and the entire staff for their exceptional hospitality. Our stay at Arif Hotel was truly unforgettable. There are lots of hotels in the area and they might have the same level of hospitality but we are definitely going to choose the same hotel next time we are here.

I stayed with my fiance in the panoramic room, if you are looking for a place to stay with a great view, awesome breakfast and excellent service I recommend 100% booking at Arif. We had an amazing experience thanks to the service that Han, Ahmet, Hanifi and all the staff gave us. They were all super kind with us. The location of the Cave hotel is incredible, we were able to see the balloons from our room and the several terraces they have. As the hotel is located in a cave you will have to walk a couple minutes up there but if you got a car, there access up to the hotels entrance. The room has all the cave style I was expecting, well equiped, and super comfy. I would definitely come back to this place, it was amazing.

Don’t know where to begin in regards to how incredible our stay was at the Arif Cave Hotel. Have to begin with thanking our new friend, Han, who greeted us in reception and who was available to us essentially day and night during our stay. What an absolute gentleman and delight to be around. He is so friendly, kind and knowledgable of the area as he is originally from Cappadocia. Please listen to his recommendations, he was once the head waiter at kebapzade which was by far one of the best restaurants we have been to in all of Turkey. The hotel can also help you make reservations for balloon rides, horseback riding, tours to underground cities or different valleys such as Love, Rose etc. The prices that they offer are not upcharged but rather are more competitive. For example, we had already booked a horseback riding tour for 125 USD per person via tripadvsior whereas their price was… 35 Euros per person lol… you live and learn, I suppose. The location was incredible. The hotel is past the checkpoint to Lover’s hill sunset viewpoint. You’ll see other tourists pay 10 tl or so to get into this area so you know the location is great! (You do not have to pay every time you enter the area, you just tell the guard you are going to the Arif Hotel and they will let you through). The grounds of the hotel was always spotless with a beautiful patio/courtyard with comfortable cushions and tables available 24/7. We opted for the executive cave suite (room #4) which had a large terrace looking into Goreme and the valley where the balloons take off. The room itself was incredibly spacious and had it’s own jacuzzi and large bathroom as well. Just perfect. It’s a true cave hotel in one of the nicest rock formations in Goreme so you’ll often see other tourists taking pictures with the hotel in the background. It is located maybe 7-10 minutes to the center of Goreme, you do not need to drive anywhere unless you’re leaving town. Goreme is very centrally located and the furthest we drove was to the underground cities, about 40-50 mins away. FYI, the roads in cappadocia are fantastic and easy to navigate. Breakfast is included and what a spread it is. Wonderful cheeses/meats/olives/spreads and other cold dishes as well as hot dishes they cook fresh as if you were in someone’s home (I suppose you are). Hot dishes such as omelettes, a scrambled egg/tomato dish (I think it’s called menmen), breakfast pancake, fried sausages, potatoes etc. They will always go the extra mile for you. On our last morning we had to leave by 0630 to catch a flight back to Istanbul and the hotel staff cooked breakfast just for us at 5 oclock in the morning so we wouldn’t leave hungry (Breakfast is normally served at 0800). We saw another couple leaving early (but after us) and they cooked them breakfast as well. Also, on our first day there was construction on the road to the hotel blocking off the main road and when we informed them that we couldn’t find a way to drive to the hotel, Betty promptly sent a driver to show us the way. She also was kind enough to message us a day before arrival via Whatsapp so that we had a contact point in case any issues arose (Thanks Betty). In regards to the patio I would recommend spending at least one sunrise watching the balloons take off from the hotel’s patio/common area. There were many places on the hotel grounds to take pictures from, not just the seating area with the cushions, which is nice so that all guests had their own personal space. I could go on and on, Cappadocia was definitely the reason why we traveled to Turkey and Arif cave hotel and it’s staff insured that our time there was perfect. We cannot wait to return! Thank you again for having us, we feel honored!

We loved our stay here - the cave room was beautiful, comfortable, charming and surprisingly large. The details on the interior decoration are stunning and it is a very relaxing and cosy place to spend time, with lots of seating areas to take in the views across Goreme - the hotel is situated above the town so you get great views at sunrise of the air balloons. It is also located only a 2 minute walk from the sunrise/sunset point which you also don't have to pay to access, which makes it really convenient for taking great photos at any time of the day. We arrived extremely late at night (1am) but someone had stayed up especially to welcome us and check us in which was really appreciated. The staff were very friendly and helpful, and helped us book transport to other parts of Cappadocia for hiking and sight seeing. Overall a fabulous stay!

I came to Göreme this summer for a short stay of 2 nights. Because I was able to stay at friends' places for free in the rest of my trip I thought to treat myself for a pleasant hotel in Cappadocia. When asking around for recommendations for a place to stay friends recommended me the Arif Cave Hotel, without any double checking or questioning I arrived at the hotel and made reservation on place. Eventhough it was quite expensive for me, the room was incredible. The large bed and private cave with terrace made me feel like a king. The view on the city and its sunset couldn't have been better. The hotel is located right under the viewpoint so if you want to see the balloons it's 5min walk or just a step out the door. The staff was very kind and helpful with all questions I had. Overall I had a really good time to relax here and won't forget it. Thanks again, Tom (Mertens)
