The Koza Cave Hotel was restored using reclaimed stone, iron and wood building materials. It offers rooms fitted with traditional Turkish rugs and furnishings. Several rooms have a living room with a fireplace. Some feature a jacuzzi and a private terrace. Bringing a new level of eco-inspired chic to Göreme, Koza Cave is a masterclass in stylish sustainable tourism. Passionate owner Derviş and his family spent decades living in Holland and has incorporated Dutch eco-sensibility into every cave crevice of the 10 stunning rooms. Grey water is reused, and recycled materials and local handcrafted furniture are utilised in abundance to create sophisticated spaces. Stay in a cave room, enjoy our amazing views and get a taste of Cappadocia.
Show more...3 days was not enough. I felt the need to write this as I sadly wait for my flight home. I just absolutely loved the vibe of this family hotel. Beautiful from top to bottom. The terrace to watch the balloons and sunsets is really special and one of the highest locations with a wide view for it. The breakfast is clean, filling, and the cheese gozleme - so so delicate. We loved our cave suite, thoughtful toiletries and our own terrace facing Uchisar Castle. We were on a 16 day trip through Croatia and Turkey and this was the most comfortable bed we slept it. Every single person that we came in contact with that works there is genuine. Burkay is an above and beyond guy, so helpful and kind. Ozgur was our main contact person through what's app and he was always responsive and helpful in booking tours for us and even friendlier in person. You just have to do the balloon tour, this is coming from someone who freaks out at the slightest turbulence. Ozgur booked it for us and the company was supremely professional. It was a peaceful yet exhilarating experience. He also booked us a private tour with Elif and Ug. They drove us around the off the beaten path spots and honestly we just loved their company so much that we had a coffee and a meal together. If a pool is important, don't worry- they have a relationship with Aza so you can walk across the street for some pool time if there's availability. And then the town of Goreme.... such good customer service everrrrywhereee. Full of charm! Lively at night, peaceful during the day. All within walking distance! I WISH I stayed LONGER. So please, don't hesitate.. book here and create this memory for yourself too.
Show more...From the second we booked down to the second we left, we can’t have been happier with the service, friendliness and professionalism that Koza Cave and in particular Özgür provided. We booked a night picnic and a balloon ride through him and both went off seamlessly and were amazing experiences. The rooms had plenty of room to move around and being a smaller hotel we always felt like we got a personal touch. This includes when I was unwell one of the days and Özgür was kind enough to get some medicine and continually check in to make sure I was ok. Would highly recommend and can’t wait for our next trip back there - we wouldn’t stay anywhere else!
Show more...Loved the family owned aspect of Koza Cave! The friendliness, care, and attention to detail from all staff didn’t go unnoticed. Having 10 rooms meant the rooftop wasn’t busy in the morning when watching the balloons. The rooftop view is the best in Goreme! The bar had delicious cocktails, they have cute cats, and the breakfast is delicious every morning. The rooms are stunning and the beds are really comfortable. Highly recommend Koza Cave and hope to come back soon!
Show more...This is easily a 5 star experience here. It’s family owned and operated and I could not recommend this more highly. The staff are incredible and accommodating and friendly. The rooftop view is just magic. The rooms are so comfy, cool and incredibly well decorated. The breakfast spread is something else. The cocktails are bar set-up on the roof is special. We got up early to watch the balloons go on our first morning and I think the rooftop is probably one of the best on the region.
Show more...This is an amazing hotel! We were debating between this hotel and Sultan Cave for the terrace views. Koza Cave was a great choice. We went up to the terrace every morning to see the hot air balloons and there were only a few people there. The breakfast was delicious and the room was amazing. We had the experience of a lifetime.
Show more...I recently stayed at Koza Cave Hotel and had a wonderful experience. The receptionist was very accommodating and offered us early check-in and an upgrade on the room when they found out it was our honeymoon. The hotel offers individual rooms with private bathrooms that are extremely clean and come with necessities such as soap, shampoo, and towels. I loved that they provided a breakfast buffet between 8:30 am to 10:30 am, and the food was amazing! Some foods available were: dried fruit, yogurt, jam/honey, pizza, scrambled eggs, mushrooms, fried cheese egg roll looking snack, cookies, apple/banana/watermelon, plenty of assorted breads and condiments, and dessert (I got chocolate and banana mousse cake). The room was spacious, had a comfortable bed and had air conditioning, and they even offered two bottles of water for free. I also appreciated that they provided a mini-fridge in the room stocked with drinks and some snacks for purchase. The location is about a 15-minute walk from the city center, and parking could be scarce at times. However, plenty of coffee and tea are offered, and the terrace was roomy and shared with four other people when we were there. There was plenty of room and time to take photos. I would highly recommend others to stay here and would come back again.
Show more...We had an amazing experience at the Koza Cave Hotel. The rooms are cozy and tastefully furnished, and the staff is incredibly responsive and kind. The view from the terrace is gorgeous, the best in Goreme!
Show more...Located about 10-15 mins walk from downtown where you will need to walk up the hill whenever returning back to the hotel. Family run hotel with 8-10 rooms with a fantastic rooftop terrace for sun rise view with the balloons and most importantly, they only open the terrace for the hotel guest every morning. Stayed there for three nights and totally enjoyed it especially with home made breakfast every morning with the valley view. Contacted the hotel via WhatsApp and Yaya have arranged everything for us including taxi pick up by their Uncle Mustafa (very friendly and chattable person) where they have recommended almost all to-go and to-do things in Goreme. Seten restaurant is walking distance from Koza, which can be quite busy at times with their hotel guests and visitors. Very satisfied with the stay and I will be back for the hotel stay should I be visiting Goreme anytime in the future. Recommending you to check them out if you’re visiting Goreme!
Show more...Well located. Yaya assisted us with car rental that was delivered to our hotel . They also helped arrange our ballon flight and transfer to and from the airport . The hotel has Setem restaurant within walking distance. We had a lovely time. I highly recommend this hotel

The hotel staff was super friendly and recommended a great guide named Elif as well as a balloon company. The guide was very knowledgeable about Cappadocia and she gave us a great time. Hotel itself was very comfortable to stay in and we loved the view. We recommend it!
