The Savoy is the only luxury hotel on the River Thames. The ballet, opera, and theatre of vibrant Covent Garden are just steps away, with the City, world-renowned museums and galleries, and the designer shopping of Knightsbridge and Mayfair within easy reach. The Savoy has been woven into the fabric of London for almost 130 years, with exceptional service and memorable experiences at the heart of everything. Our team work hard to prepare for our guests and have implemented a range of measures to look after your well-being, but one thing remains a constant – the warmth of our Savoy welcome.
Show more...Our stay at the Savoy was amazing! The staff couldn’t have been better and the man who greeted us in reception , Alvaro, couldn’t have been more helpful! Orlagh in reservations was also so lovely and both made our stay amazing. We would love to come again!
Show more...Positively brilliant stay, wonderful execution, staff and accommodations. Well located in the heart of everything London. The hotel is historic, well maintained, beautiful and elegant. The staff are incredibly professional, and clearly concerned with your satisfaction. This was my second stay and it was hard to believe that it was better the second time around.
Show more...I only ever dreamt of staying in an iconic hotel like the Savoy so when I was surprised for a special birthday, I was not disappointed. Our room overlooked the river which was stunning at night. A cocktail in The American Bar after seeing Plaza Suite was an extra surprise and rather lovely. Breakfast was amazing, staff attentive and the food delicious. All in all, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and would go back!
Show more...We stayed at the Savoy two weeks ago, we were so excited to stay after watching it all on the TV show. Check in was really good, welcomed lovely in reception and showed in to our room, a really lovely welcome note and chocolates with plenty of bottled water(Thank You!) unfortunately from here on we didn’t have the best stay, from 12.30am to 8.00am we were awake with loud noises outside our room, it was as if the windows were open - there was shouting, smashing of glasses and building work. We had an hour sleep altogether, not ideal for the amount we payed for a special occasion. There was absolutely no view from the room which was fine but the noise in our opinion was unacceptable, it wasn’t just noise it was so loud that you couldn’t sleep. The next morning when we politely told them in reception, there wasn’t much of an interest and we were made to feel unwelcome, we were very pleased to leave. The hotel is located in a fantastic area for exploring London but unfortunately we won’t return again due the lack of compassion for the huge disturbance whilst staying here.
Show more...my wife treated me to a few nights here for my birthday and it was worth it. from the moment you cross the door, the service was exceptional. we took our time to enjoy the pool and gym, various restaurants and the American bar. lived up to the hype and well worth a treat visit if you can.
Show more...The Savoy and it’s a reputation did not disappoint!! We stayed for my husbands 50th and it was fabulous! We arrived early and were greeted by the doorman, we had quite a bit of luggage as we were going on holiday the next day and they took this off us to be taken directly to our room. We were early (11.30am) so didn’t expect our room to be ready, the lady on reception still checked to see, it wasn’t, so said she will send us a text when free. She gave us a voucher for a complimentary glass of champagne whilst we wait, however we already had lunch planned elsewhere so left and used the voucher when we came back later. Once we received the welcoming text advising us our room was ready, we returned and were taken to the room by a lovely lady who gave us detailed history about the hotel and information on the amenities in our room. They had left a lovely box with chocolate and a note wishing my husband a heartfelt birthday and enjoyable stay. They upgraded us to a king deluxe and we had a good view over the Thames. We then went to make use of the swimming pool which was very nice. We had the Beaufort bar and American bar booked which were also both very special (although we slightly preferred the Beaufort bar). The Breakfast in the morning was also an experience in itself. Every single member of staff is a credit to this hotel and I hope to return again in the near future!
Show more...My Husband arranged a 2 night stay to celebrate my 60th Birthday. (I've only been dropping hints for around 6 years!) From arriving at the front door, to reception, breakfast and the American Bar we were greeted with warmth and friendliness by every single member of staff. We have travelled extensively worldwide and have never experienced service, care and attention to detail as we received last week at the Savoy Hotel. Room upgraded and a lovely gift of chocolate and a card offering birthday wishes and welcoming us to the Savoy. Twice daily housekeeping with turndown and little treats left on the pillow nightly. Fluffy robes and slippers provided in the room and a Savoy bookmark was left on top of the book I brought with me. Such a nice touch. A truly perfect way to celebrate a significant celebration and life event. Thanks to all.
Show more...We had a wonderful lunch today. The staff were really professional, friendly and knowledgeable. Our Waitress Kieran was lovely - we remembered her from our previous visit and her service again was excellent- we felt very special. We are already planning our return lunch.
Show more...Enjoyed a remarkable room with a bright, panoramic view of the River Thames – easily the best accommodation I've experienced in London. What truly set this experience apart was the unparalleled service and support from the Savoy's staff. From the moment I checked in to every interaction throughout my stay, their dedication to guest satisfaction was evident. The staff's attentiveness, warmth, and genuine care created an atmosphere that felt like a home away from home.

We had a fantastic family stay at The Savoy, nothing short of what we had dreamt of and a wonderful experience we will remember for years to come. The staff was so very genuine and caring, from Kimon at the front desk, to Stacy from in room dining, Rose at breakfast and Eleanor at the spa, Tony, Michael and Genci at the door who made us feel so welcome from the minute we stepped in. Travelling with two young children can be stressful, but we were so well looked after and our needs anticipated every step of the way. The children’s amenities in the room are out of this world and more than our toddler would ever have dreamt of. A lovely extra bed and baby cot were provided, as well as a high chair and baby friendly treats at breakfast. Thank you, we will be back!
