The Egerton House Hotel

This is my London go to hotel. Besides the prime location next to museums and restaurants, the staff is so welcoming and helpful. Beautifully appointed rooms, fabulous food and the best Martinis in all of London. My third stay here and I will certainly be back.

The Egerton House Hotel is exactly the kind of quaint, full-service, 5-star London hotel we had hoped for on our first trip to London, and it did not disappoint. A short walk up Brompton Road from the South Kensington underground station, one turns off the busy London thoroughfare to be greeted by the flower clad facade (in a nod to the Chelsea Flower Show) of the Egerton House - an “only in London” image. It was a hot afternoon and we were greeted at the small front reception area with refreshing strawberry infused ice water and the hotel’s homemade shortbread. Three cheers to Jacques who was our all-around reception host and concierge for our 3-day stay. He presented the highest level of the storied English service and efficiency one would expect from a 5-star hotel - all with a personal touch. The room was small, which we expected (and wanted) from this type of hotel, and incredibly comfortable and cozy. The bathroom has a large tub/shower. The king bed was incredibly comfortable. The windows opened for fresh air, and the air conditioner worked perfectly to cool down the room on the hot afternoons. And the room was beautifully and somewhat whimsically appointed and decorated. Breakfast was delicious. We didn’t have a chance to enjoy afternoon tea in the salon, but love that they offer it. We will stay here again on our next visit, and it will feel like coming home.

Amazing hotel and amazing staff! Simply the best. 2nd time staying there and wouldn't stay anywhere else in London. Food was great. The bar downstairs was great. The rooms are very nice and make you feel at home. The staff is amazing and will do anything you ask. All around great trip and experience

The room was very nice. clean tidy and comfy. well kitted out and had everything you needed. the staff where incredibly polite and helpful and very friendly. from the front desk, housekeeping and bar staff. its been a joy staying there and in the future when required i would most certainly stay there once again. thank you Egerton House Team

The little touches was amazing and the service was 10/10*. Would highly recommend staying if you wish to have a home away from home feeling in London. Everything was well thought out and The Egerton House Hotel. We really did not want to leave from there, especially with Harrods next door.

This is an outstanding boutique hotel! The staff is very professional, courteous, & knowledgeable of local restaurants & attractions. The room (beds, bathroom & shower, closets) were big enough for my friend & I & comfortable. Appreciated the turndown service & treats & bottled water. The breakfasts were good & had a wide variety of items. And the high tea was excellent too! I highly recommend the Edgerton!

Egerton House is perfectly positioned for access to the V&A, Natural History Museum, Schacci Gallery, Parks, Harrods and other shops and great restaurants. The hotel itself is charming with considerate details everywhere. Rooms are cozy and comfortable with every need met. Staff are attentive and kind and especially Rosie is superb. I will return.

The best of five star traditional English service. The staff are exceptional and all seem very genuine in the care and attention towards their guests. The location is great - tucked away from the frenzy of the crowds but they are accessible if you need them. The lack of gym onsite was not an issue given how close the park is for running and their partnerships with nearby facilities. Highly recommend.

The best hotel we've ever stayed in !! The hotel deserves higher than a 5*. The staff are attentive, friendly and professional. We stayed in a double room for my partners birthday and the personalisation was perfect. Concierge arrange balloons and drinks in the room and a handwritten card was also given. The bed was very comfortable, wish we could take it home with us! The decor is wonderful and little extra touches like tea, coffee, cookies, fruit and mini bar made such a difference. The breakfast was amazing and we thoughly enjoyed our stay.

Fabulous stay once again at our favourite London hotel. Perfect for a birthday weekend with friends. The staff are so welcoming and attentive. We enjoyed the first class martini’s from bar manager Sahbi and the delicious breakfast always delights. Egerton house feels like our London home, can’t wait to return again soon.
