The area is truely a great gift and not yet deeply exploited bu humans, it has the rare sulferic water with many uses to it. Hotel has lots of ameneties and friendly staff. Nice coffee shop down stairs and a great hot sulferic water pool. Recommend to visit this place before humans try to get more money out of it.

We went to thermal region after cave. There was nothing except for a few hotels, restaurants and shops. If you want you can see Oylat Waterfall after a 2,5 km walking but we did not go. There was a revival of the legend related with the name of Oylat by plaster statues in the square. According to legend, the daughter of the feudal landlord of Byzantium was ill a malignant disease. She has been left this cave to death and not to seen her death by her father. The young girl recovered thanks to the thermal spring. After that day the name of Ölyat (die and rest) converted to Oylat. The thermal has been used since Roman period.

As a spa lover, I can truly say that this is a spa retreat that will completely renew your mind, body and spirit. We started coming here several years ago before New Years to reflect and end the year on a healthy note. Now I look forward all year to our annual 7-day pilgrimage. If you can't come for at least 5 full spa days, then don't bother. It's not fancy. The thermal hot springs are amazing and have a multitude of healing properties. There are separate men's and women's spa sections and conservative bathing suits and bathing caps for women are required. I spend an average of 3 hours in the spa. Other people spend less time but go 2-3 times a day. Rooms are basic but super clean. Service is excellent. The accommodations are sold on a half-board basis, which means that breakfast and dinner are included. The buffet style Turkish food is made from fresh local products - and it is fantastic. Cost is about $40US per person (includes food and spa). Spa services are extra but very reasonable. Massage, kese and salt clay scrub (amazing), facials are available. With spa package specials, you can get one treatment a day for 6 days and spend about $100USD total. The times I have been there have been only Turkish clientele. Conservative and very friendly. There in no alcohol sold in the hotel - or in the town. We found this place originally on DestinationCoupons.com and I believe that this is still the only place you can find a discount for the hotel. I recommend it highly.
