Sherbrooke Castle Hotel

Lovely stay. Staff were helpful, polite and friendly. Lovely room and great Breakfast menu with attentive staff. Hotel was clean and comfortable. Will definitely be back. Good location. February 2024. Easy 5 minute drive to city centre.

Top tip: book direct on the hotel website as it’s cheaper than booking.com and breakfast is included. We stayed here for one night before a wedding and it’s really close to Glasgow, with the benefit of free onsite parking. We stayed in a ‘garden room’ which was spacious and had lots of storage space, Tv, charger points for tech, tea and coffee facilities and a really good bathroom with a double sized shower. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner and breakfast, both of which were plentiful and good quality. I’d definitely recommend staying here.

We had a Celebration of Life service and stayed for a few days. The Sherbrooke team could not have been more helpful and made everything run very smoothly. During our stay The rooms and meals were perfect. Special shout out to Willian for organising everything.

Very beautiful place, lovely rooms. We used the bar, the restaurant for dinner and enjoyed the food. Then the breakfast was great too. We've been a couple of times now and will definitely come back. The bedroom was very nicely decorated and was also very practical.

My wife and I stayed one night. We were given a garden room situated in an annex which looked out onto a busy main road. The traffic noise was a real issue. Also, the card which was required to operate the room lights and bathroom light also switched on the bathroom extractor fan. This fan could only be switched off by removing the card from the slot so visiting the toilet in the middle of the night had to be done in the dark. This issue could be resolved by correctly wiring the electrics such that the extractor is switched on and off via the bathroom light switch and not via the card slot. However, the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was good.

The bed was most comfortable and all the facilities ensured a contented stay. The restaurant staff were helpful and the food delicious. Breakfast didn't disappoint and I hope I can make a return visit. Plenty of parking helped to take the stress out of arriving after a long journey.

Was there for a wedding and honestly say that the quality of food was the best I have had at a wedding, just exceptional quality and the staff could not do more for you. They did everything perfectly. Every detail was just done properly

First time to Glasgow and what a magical stay at the Sherbrooke! Decorated still for Christmas, rooms cozy with all the amenities, and it even snowed one day. All the castle staff were lovely, food excellent (particularly breakfast!) and parking behind the castle.

Another incredible stay at Sherbrooke Castle. Staff are second to none, from reception to bar and restaurant, the friendliness and exceptional customer service are consistent throughout the hotel. The food is stunning, I had rack of lamb and chocolate sponge and felt so spoilt, hard to believe the price is so reasonable. Can’t see how our experience could have been better. Won’t stay anywhere else in Glasgow now.
