Show more...The lady that took care of me was incredible! She gave me such detailed information and more. Huge help with accommodation, food, directions, history and more.
Show more...We went to just get some information on Portrush and advice on transportation to the Causeway. The lady was very helpful and gave us lots of info and offered a number of brochures etc. for us to look over for things of interest in the area. Offered recommendations for restaurants, as well as bus and train information. She was very nice and we were very thankful for the information she gave us. It was most helpful. We did not realize until we were to leave that we noticed the hours of operation on the door and she should have already been closed. We were most appreciative.
Show more...Visited Portrush on a beautiful sunny day, packed with people. Eventually found a car parking space. Barrys amusements were a throw back fromi don't know when
Litter EVERYWHERE, bins overflowing, broken bottles on the path etc. I attempted to use the public toilets. I HAVE NEVER been more disgusted in my life. The people responsible for public services and litter etc need to get their act together.
I for one do not see the attraction of visiting a disgusting, litter filled town and will not be back.
Called in to gather up-to-date information and Jan was super helpful. Learnt a lot about local activities and events that I had not found in social media. Highly recommend any visitor calls in to get full local info.
Show more...My sister-in-law and I visited the center to get maps and information about the north shore of Ireland. We were treated in a friendly way and the information help us greatly.
Show more...We arrived in mid-November and the Centre is closed "for the season". There is no reason that Portrush with its easy access to Derry and Belfast could not be a year-round destination. However, it never will be if the tourist service providers of the area don't see the value of their location. There are many people who delight in being on the coast during stormy weather. And, of course, many of the nearby scenic attractions are wonderful in the off-season. We arrived via train with a hotel reservation. We were counting on the visitors' centre for guidance. Portrush just goes too far in "pulling up the carpet" from September to April.
Show more...Just a few steps from the train station, very handy and helpful. Maps and helpful guidance. The map of town does cost you a few cents
Show more...A very knowledgeable staff & ever so helpful. Many brochures not just for the immediate area but also for the whole of northern Ireland.a must for any traveller..
Show more...the lady in the information bureau ( I think she was called Mary) was extremely helpful, gave us leaflets and lots of advice on places to visit

The tourist Offices of Portrush & Portstewart were extremely helpful in helping to find suitable accomodation for myself and my husband, with two elderly ladies, one of whom is on sticks. They found us a beautiful full equipped bungalow, with four bedrooms. Two of which were downstairs with a bathroom/shower. Perfect. Fab.people, fab food fantastic scenery all around the Antrim Coast. A winderful place for a relaxing break, even in the rain!
