Sub6 Surf School

Unforgettable experience in Northern Ireland!

We had a brilliant surf lesson with Sub6 Surf School. The morning was so much fun and the lesson was fantastic. Connell (our instructor) brought so much energy and fun to the lesson!

We followed our surf lesson with the “Sauna & Sea” experience which was so amazing and very unique!

I couldn’t recommend these experiences enough - definitely worth doing if you are in the area.

From the moment I booked our SUP session online to the end was such a wonderful experience! The website was so user friendly, easy to book and then the texts after we’re so helpful and responsive…and that is just the start!

We met our instructor Leah at Whiterocks and she immediately put us at ease as she was so dead on and friendly. Also a person was genuinely interested in you and your life and was so interesting herself! She was able to size us up for wetsuits and told us to take our time and no rush!

This session was for me and my daughter who’ve never SUP’ed or went much further than ankles into the sea in years! She provided so much information with patience and kindness but stressed the importance of the main things to remember…repeating until it sink in! I wasnt sure if I’d even kneel on the paddle boards as I feel I’m a clumsy type at the best of times but by the end of the session she had both me and my daughter on our feet sailing away on the ocean. I cannot begin to describe how surreal and confident I felt when it felt like it was just me there and the sea. It was the most beautiful experience, the water, the scenery, sharing this with my daughter. Yet knowing we were safe in the hands of Leah. I’ve challenged myself to do more things since my father recently passed and I just felt so proud of me and my daughter and it was because of Leah’s great teaching and belief in us!

I left buzzing for the rest of the day, can’t wait to do it again and felt like I’d made a friend in Leah…who even brought us surprise donuts for after! One of the very best experiences I’ve had in a long time and I’d recommend to anyone! Also she took pictures and film of us which were stunning (well of my daughter and scenery haha) and will also be treasured! Thank you Leah!!
