The hotel is about a 10 minute walk uphill from Glasgow Central Station, but there are plenty of taxi’s (or Ubers) available if you do not fancy. It’s a nice looking , modern hotel with a very efficient check in. The staff were incredibly helpful answering my various questions. The rooms are a nice size and have iron, television, safe and supplied with bottled water, biscuits with tea and (instant) coffee facilities.  The room windows are openable, but the walls were a bit thin. My room was always neatly made up and the towels changed each day.  There is a cook breakfast, but you have to have your eggs cooked to order (unless you like the scrambled version available). A pleasant hotel for a stay in Glasgow.

I’ve just arrived home after my first trip to Glasgow. I stayed at the Maldron Hotel for 3 nights in an executive king suite on a work trip. This hotel is one of the best that I have ever stayed in. The room was spacious with dual aspect windows. The mattress was one of the most comfortable mattresses I’ve experienced in a hotel. The shower is a waterfall shower and was perfect to come back to after working. I love that you can chromecast, I’ve not stayed in a hotel that has this function before, normally you’re limited to minimal channels but this meant I could stream from my Netflix, Amazon prime etc. The curtains completely black out the light outside too! I had a coffee machine, robe and slippers which were a lovely addition to the room. My room was cleaned daily, coffee, tea etc were also topped up. When I arrived at the room, the staff had left a handwritten personal note on the table with a tunnocks tea cake which was a lovely touch! I didn’t eat dinner at the hotel but I did have breakfast each morning which was lovely, plenty of selection such as cereal, cooked breakfast options, porridge, overnight oats, yogurt, fruit etc. a selection of teas, coffees and juices were also available. I don’t usually eat breakfast but I didn’t miss it during my stay. I honestly couldn’t fault any part of my stay and this will certainly be my go to hotel whenever I’m up in Glasgow in the future. The price was extremely reasonable too! Absolutely loved everything! Thank you to all of the staff for running an exceptionally clean and perfect hotel!

Great facilities at this hotel and very friendly employees. Incredibly helpful with locating some lost property for me. But most of all 10/10 for the gluten free breakfast station that included a separate toaster and clear signage on allergens.

We stayed here for a couple nights while in Glasgow. Location is excellent with plenty of bars and restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast had usual things on offer such as eggs (only found out last day you can request fried eggs and possibly poached) , bacon, toast, croissants etc, all fine. Room was ok, clean enough but a few scuff marks on the walls. Bathroom was spacious with a nice walk in shower. The main problem about the room was the heat. The room became so hot during the night and this was even with the so called air con switched on. Next morning I spoke with reception and they informed me that they can change the room temperate from their end to make it more comfortable (Bit strange really). Found all staff pleasant and helpful

Ahh what a braw hotel!.. Ok this is part of the Clayton Group and I have stayed in a couple of these, in both London and Dublin (there is a new one in Glasgow too). Booked it a couple of weeks in advance for a good rate. in comparison to the Doubletree Hilton nearly next door it was a bargain ( i stayed there last year for a function). the hotel is modern and has a relaxed feel. prior to arriving we were offered virtual check in... great for the auld upsale and we took a cheeky we 2 course dinner option. this gave us self service from a booth as we arrived.. its good but not for everyone. The bar/foyer area is a combo-type space with a small but great menu. the room had a standard bed and a good level of space for 1 night or a week. shower but no bath. I like a bath but the shower was large, powerful and easy to use. rooms were quite for a city centre room on the weekend. The food in the bar.. I had the haggis bon bons and a burger and my wife had shrimp then a chicken rap. it was fresh tasty and jus the right portion, pre paying at book in saved about 5-10 quid at least depending on your choices, service was attentive and helpful from all the staff in the area. We went to our show and in the morning we came down for breakfast, you can book a time for breakfast here I am told which may be handy if they are busy. anway.. we arrived and were greeted by a gem of a woman.... OK, our greeter was a Glesga Wummin, a Janey Godly type. the typical salt of the earth helpful, diligent honest reflection of the city, its braw to see and speak with someone like this that are people facing as it reflects a little of the real glesga. and if you know, you know. may she continue and flourish there. breakfast was good, although i would say this... its Glasgow Buy in a morton roll, put square sausage of the menu reflect the culture in the same way you have with some of the staff. check out and had my car parking validated. I will return for a night here without question and in fact I would choose it over the double tree in the other corner of the block.

Great, new hotel in brilliant location. Good price. Lovely room on 11th floor with duel aspect. Nice bar open till 12.45am. Stayed one nice for Depeche Mode at the Hydro and I would have given 4 stars but the terrible breakfast knocked off a couple of stars. All the hot food looked as if it had been under the hot lamps for an hour. The food was dried up, shrivelled mushrooms and brick hard black pudding. Fresh fruit was nice but yoghurt had run out as had fresh orange. Food stations were messy and uncared for. A real disappointment as I so look forward to a hotel breakfast 😨

Super convenient hotel for city centre and queen street railway station. Modern ,clean and well maintained hotel. We had a room on top floor so didn’t have much street noise. Staff were very welcoming and friendly at reception. We didn’t have breakfast but on previous visits have had this and it’s buffet style. Temperature in room was too hot and we found we couldn’t turn it down. When queried this with reception staff, they can regulate the heat, so be aware to call them if needed. The size of the room was very small but adequate . Would definitely book double/single bed room next time as too small for even passing each other at end of the bed. Bathroom nice and walk in shower. Will return but to a different room next time.
