Premier Inn Cardiff North hotel

Just needed a bed for the night as had travelled to attend a funeral. Not used a Premier Inn before. We were very pleasantly surprised. Clean, pleasant accomodation & helpful friendly staff. Very good value for money. If they're all this good we'll definitely use them again.

What a lovely hotel! Recently renovated it is very stylish and really exceeded our expectations. The breakfast was lovely with plenty of options to keep the whole family happy and the customer service was spot on. Couldn't fault it for the price at all!

Splendid staff excellent lobby great bar....service good let down on brekky no hot plates items not hot presentation poor....evening meal again poor did not go for the food but expected better burger tepid salad limp coleslaw would have satisfied a budgie.... the steak partner had was edable but one little mushroom with chips...insult....eat as we were hungry after long trip........room cleanliness excellent ....really need to up there game in the restaurant.....

Was really disappointed with my experience here as there was a lot wrong with my room, was so upset spent a lot of money to book this room and there was blood all over my duvet and the tv they provided me with didn’t work and my hairdryer I was provided with didn’t work, the coffee cups also smelt really strong of bleach and couldn’t even wash away the scent so couldn’t have a coffee. I Am really upset with it as i was looking forward to it as it looked promising im really disappointed with the outcome. Very dissatisfied customer would not stay here again!

This is the best Premier inn I've stayed in. The hotel is clean, staff are friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable and secure with everything you would need for a enjoyable stay

Car parking perfect - well organised / laid out, Camera equipped and guests checked if staying or not! Booking in via automatic self check in - didnt quite work (my fault) but when helped was perfect. First impressions of the ground floor was excellent - certainly different. Very clean and neat. The bedroom areas were in excellent condition as was the room. Everything very new especially an excellent bath/shower room. Very comfrtable bed - good television and aircon that worked. I did have a problem one night with a noise from a fan motor (mild) and the staff the next morning offered instantly to change my room. They were very nice - was arranged that night but in the event there was no noise when I returned and stayed in that room (Saved moving everything). Full breakfast was as good as it gets. Lots on offer and all freshly made. Very good for the price. A good location handy for Cardiff. Would use again. Great staff

Very pleasantly surprised by my stay at Cardiff North. I usually opt for a 4 star hotel in Cardiff but my stay at Premier Inn was better than my last 2 experiences at more ‘luxurious’ hotels. The premier room was spacious and spotlessly clean with all necessary amenities and a few luxury items. Staff were relaxed, friendly and efficient. I will definitely use it as my base in Cardiff from now on

Kyla and Jacob gave a lovely warm welcome on the bar when I arrived until my rooms was ready to check in. They kept me updated when the rooms were ready so I could check in promptly. Sam and Emma then gave great service with the team in the afternoon and evening. First time staying in Cardiff North with our crew and we hope to stay when we return to Cardiff again. Can’t thank Emma and her team enough we was a big group and again made to feel so welcome

The hotel is being run on a shoestring. Minimum staff levels, they are doing their best, but it then is very impersonal. I will not be returning.The bedroom was very small. Only towel supplied for one person are we expected to share.

You always know what you’re getting with a premier inn, hence why I often use them when staying away from home. However this particular premier inn was even better than the usual . Recently refurbished it was very clean, modern and comfortable, an attractive reception area, pleasant dining room, funky decor and comfortable rooms made this a hotel I would absolutely visit again if in the area. The small issue of the room keycard not working after the first night and needing resetting was a minor inconvenience and was resolved easily and quickly with a friendly smile. Would absolutely recommend to anyone needing to stay in the Cardiff area.
