Canopy by Hilton London City

I had a great experience here. This hotel has everything you need. Excellent service, beautiful decor and a great location! It is in walking distance from Tower Bridge, Tower of London, City of London, Shoreditch, Spitalfields Market, Brick Lane and St Katherine's Dock! The area is very safe so I never had to worry about any problems. The hotel has the best staff who really cared for my needs and were attentive to what I needed. There is delicious loose leave tea and tasty little pastries and cookies. Their food menu is simply but has classics you will hope for the in the UK including steak, fish and chips, curry and burgers. I wholeheartedly recommend this hotel if you are staying in London!

We stayed 3 nights Reception - friendly and efficient . Room was ready an hour early Good location - near Tower of London. Good bus / tube location Room - lovely , spacious , quiet , great shower Great tv Comfy bed - would really have expected king size as standard in this type of hotel Our view was not good either Excellent shower Towels - 1 x bathsheet each & 1 x hand towel I would have liked a medium for hair Good hairdryer Good tea & coffee . Biscuits only there on first day. Breakfast - excellent quality . All staff members friendly and polite. I saw a chef going out of his way to make a little boy something not on the menu . Bar - relaxing and comfortable. Expensive like you’d expect . In the lift it says Roofbar but it’s not open yet . All in all excellent stay - would book again.

Check in was friendly and welcoming, the upgraded rooms were very much appreciated and the welcome amenities. Bar service could have been better, but I think another member of staff was just filling in from a different area. Breakfast as per usual was excellent,had the Eggs Benedict from the menu which is available to diamond members at no extra charge. All in all another great stay.

As a hotel I would give in a 4 but there are no racks for bags which is difficult if you are travelling with your spouse or others. Other than that it is fine. Best not to arrive (or try to leave) on Monday while the weekly fire alarm check is going on. That can take over 15 minutes to complete and the elevators are offline while that happens. We arranged to meet people at the bar but half the group went to the upstairs bar while we were in the ground floor bar. We grabbed our drinks are proceeded upstairs where some of the staff were positively unpleasant about us bringing up our drinks. Doesn't make me want to go there again but was not enough to cause me to leave nor stop me ordering several rounds. The location is good in the City of London. Lots of restaurants close by. An excellent Indian restaurant almost opposite in India Street. Tube access at Tower (with escalators) and Algate (without). Fenchurch Street Station is very close and I walked to Liverpool Street station in seven minutes

I’ve returned to this fantastic hotel for my friend’s birthday. I informed them about the special occasion that we were celebrating and at our arrival in the room there was a marvelous birthday set up with confetti, balloons, a sweet treat and a bottle of bubbles which really made my friend super happy! Thank you so very much Loni for your heartfelt gesture and handwritten note which was beyond our expectations and made our celebrations begin in the most kind and heartwarming way! <3 We will surely return again :) - Federica (and Francesca)

Honestly, I wasn't sure what to expect when I booked this hotel since it was our first time in London, but I was very pleasantly surprised with how great this place was. Our first impression when walking into the lobby was that it was very clean and very modern looking. The staff was very friendly and didn't give us any trouble about checking in a little early. The room was a great size. Not nearly as large as some hotel rooms in the states, but larger than many hotel rooms we've stayed at in other countries, so we found it quite comfortable. We never had any issues with running out of hot water and the bed was also extremely comfortable. There were little snacks in the room which were nice to have on hand as well. The location is a little bit of a good and bad. The area felt safe and there were a handful of very good restaurants in the area as well as a grocery store within a short walking distance. It's near Wapping, so if you're looking to be closer to that area, then the location is great. If you're looking to spend more time around Soho or Buckingham Palace, it's about an hour walk away from those locations. It was definitely doable, and we definitely did it, but it's definitely an important thing to note if those are the areas of London you prefer to be closer to. That being said, there was never a shortage of taxis outside the hotel, so we never had any trouble getting where we needed to be if we were on a schedule and walking wasn't an option. There is also a tube station a couple of blocks away, so getting around was never an issue. I also have to say that the filtered water tap available in the hallway was a lifesaver for us on more than one occasion. A carafe was provided in the room that we were able to use to fill with the water available in a little filling station just down the hall so we were never without cold, clean drinking water at any time of the day. Overall, we enjoyed our stay very much and would absolutely stay here again.

Stayed in a twin room with my daughter, the room was very nice with modern decor, it was clean and bright. Staff were helpful and accommodating at all times. Breakfast was amazing with an extensive selection of options! Location is fantastic as right beside a tube station.

During my recent stay here, Rahman's assistance was outstanding. He efficiently checked me in and went the extra mile to help me obtain a SIM card and set up my internet connection. Rahmans dedication to his job was really outstanding, he went above and beyond trying to help me out. Highly recommend this Hotel for its lovely staff!!

I had an absolutely amazing experience at this hotel. It boasts a breathtaking view of London, and the modern interior design creates a truly inviting atmosphere. I cannot express enough gratitude towards Georgia, who went above and beyond to make our romantic getaway unforgettable. She decorated our room with heart balloons and rose petals, left us a welcome cake and wine, and even provided a Polaroid camera to capture our memories. Georgia's warm and welcoming personality truly made us feel at home. Every aspect of our stay, from start to finish, was absolutely perfect. One of the highlights was the delicious breakfast, which offered a wide variety of tasty options. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking to visit London.

My stay at Canopy Hilton in London England was a wonderful experience. They had allowed us to do an early check-in because our flight had landed at 7am in the morning. They provided us with two free drink vouchers for the bar upon check-in. While checking in I informed the concierge that I had plan to proposed on our day trip to Paris. The concierge connected me with the host team. From there Georgia provided excellent resources and ideas for my big day. The host team provided a Polaraid camera for our day trip to Paris. While we were away in Paris, the host team decorated our room for a nice end cap for our day. I was thoroughly impressed by the service that was provided and it was all complementary. I would definitely stay at Hilton Canopy again.
