Contained Liverpool Escape Rooms & Scare Maze

Amazing escape room! The best I’ve done yet! The whole experience from start to finish is so detailed and well executed and Sean was a fantastic host who really got the whole Atmosphere going! Really clever puzzles to solve and Sean knew the right level of clues to give so we still had a lot to work out but just pointed us in the right direction when we needed it! Not for the faint hearted! We screamed a lot!! Lots of scary fun!!!

Just had a scream playing the new game Snatched! (Part 1)Literally!! An escape room with a difference, a live actor!! We were locked in a house and pursued by a murderer. The puzzles where tricky enough to keep you on our toes and the live actor (murderer) certainly did too.
Really looking forward to part 2 and will defo be booking in as soon as it’s available.
On par with the best escape experience we’ve done, the other being the exorcist also at Contained. By far the best rooms we’ve done in the North West.

Wow! What a fantastic experience we had at Contained Liverpool. Me and 3 friends booked The Exorcist escape room for a Halloween fright night and it was the BEST we had ever done! A perfect balance of challenging yet enjoyable tasks that make you laugh, scream and feel accomplished. The staff were so friendly and created great suspense. Kirsty stayed in character the whole time which fully immersed us into the frightening experience! You must visit if you are ever in Liverpool. We can’t wait to try another room. Thank you team Contained!

Brilliant place, it was our first escape room as a couple and we both haven’t done them in years.

Finished it in 58 minutes which we were pretty happy about and we would love to go to the other room with the live actor.

Thanks to the host, she was a great laugh, and it was cool that you’re able to buy alcoholic drinks

We have been to contained every single year since it started and it’s become better every year! One of the best escape rooms we’ve ever been to as a group! Great fun! Definitely worth a visit and reasonably priced. Sean was very accommodating and made the escape room very realistic. Hoping next year that the live actors will be back as this brings it to life even more. Thank you Sean! See you next year!

Amazing!!! We’ve done both the exorcist and snatched rooms and absolutely loved both. Exorcist room literally feels like you are in the film, scary but the puzzles are really fun. We did snatched today, and the addition of the live actor makes it even scarier but more exciting! Our host/games master was really helpful and also really supported one of our group who got a bit too scared. We’ve done lots of escape rooms elsewhere and these 2 have been our favourites.

Me and my daughters took on “Snatched”, anyone with a Pacemaker need not apply, outstanding game and easily the best Escape room we as a family have taken part in. The guys at Contained are totally invested in entertaining everyone and looking after the individual too. Escaping does not get any better. If there were 6 stars this place would deserve them!

Came here with friends on Christmas Eve. We had a really great time playing snatched. Kirsty was our host and she was brilliant. The live actor element of the game really got me a few times and I’m not somebody who scares easy but this game made us scream a lot. We ran out of time because we doesn’t too long hiding because we where all too scared to come. Out of the hiding spaces.

We loved it and we will definitely be back for the other game. 10/10 highly recommended

My friends and I survived and escaped from Snatched. It was one of the most enjoyable escape rooms with live actors I have done so far. A good amount of fear, tension and adrenaline accompained us all along, with a bunch of nice jump scares as well. Amazing atmosphere and with one of the best game master ever. We will return to defeat demons in the exorcist room for sure!

This was the best escape room experience ever. If you like a good scare and an hour filled of adrenaline then you need to try this. The live actor in snatched really adds another level. Staff were amazing and we’re already planning to go back. Hoping the rooms change every now and again so we can keep going back.
