Future Inn Cardiff Bay

Hotel is well located, good value for money, comfortable and clean with free parking. Didn’t use the restaurant but had been given good reports so we would use if we stay in the hotel again. The only criticism was the cost of adding breakfast, particularly if it wasn’t pre-booked.

Good size well appointed rooms, reasonably friendly staff. Not enough choice for people with food intolerances at breakfast and staff were unable to answer questions. More training is required in this important area.

My 2nd stay at Future Inn which says something in itself. Friendly team on reception to welcome me ensure that I had everything I needed for my stay. Easy registration and easy to register my vehicle in the car park which was included in the price. The room was clean and well prepared, there was a slight issue with the bed which housekeeping sorted out very quickly while I was out for the evening. Very generous self-service breakfast in the restaurant. Ideally paced for the Wales Millenium Centre for live theatre and to Mermaid Quay for eateries. The Bay is an interesting place to spend some time and the centre of Cardiff is just a 30 minute walk or 8 minute bus ride away. Future Inn provides a good place from which to explore this city.

I always enjoy staying at the Futrure Inn. I choose it because it is within walking distance of the Millenium Centre. I find the staff polite and helful, the rooms are clean and well stocked and the breakfast is delicious

The accommodation is clean and well presented. There is a good choice at breakfast. The access to Cardiff Bay and Millennium Centre on foot is very easy and level. Access into the city centre on foot or train from nearby Cardiff Bay station. Car parking on site.

This accommodation absolutely completed our stay. the staff were welcoming, hard working with friendly bar staff. the property was clean. although plenty of car parking space, it is quickly taken up. love how you can register the car; makes you feel safe. did not eat at the Hotel simply due to our plans. the double room was a pleasure; spacious, excellent queen beds, clean, fabulous desk space. TV well positioned and larger than the norm. plenty of tea/coffee facilities. hairdryer was a dream; especially for those with lots of hair. the bathroom was a pleasure with excellent water pressure which assisted people like me who had travelled far. towels clean and plenty. love the unique wardrobe which included an iron and ironing board... what can you say.. everything for a wonderful weekend in Cardiff. not far from the Bay and all it offers. transport is great. if i were to be critical.. why cheap tea bags when you are based in a wonderful city of Cardiff; local tea bags are amazing. would it stop me returning, no....

Good room and upgrade but safe didn’t work. Bed a little too bouncy, would have rather had twin. Restaurant steak burger tasted like sausage meat - will not eat there again. Good staff in both restaurant and reception.

The staff are very friendly and seem to be decent people. The issue is with the hotel itself. It is very dated and of low quality materials- worse than the lowest quality Ikea products. There was an incident and the Manager Peter Daniell, who was on duty, handled it well. We appreciated the kind gestures.

The ambiance is superb, I highly recommend this Thomas restaurant, the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. Special thanks to a beautiful manager I think her names is Princess best Costumer service , CJ did the best cocktails and Pandey super service ! We all enjoyed delicious food and the evening was everything we hoped it would be.

Booked based on price and proximity to the Cardiff Arena. Met expectations on both counts. Excellent check in experience with two helpful members of staff. Free onsite parking. Large, clean room with drinks making facilities, hairdryer, complimentary bottled water and toiletries. There was an iron and board in room and a safe. There is a bar and restaurant on site vut we didnt use so can't comment but based on the, rest of the hotel I'd imagine they'd be good. Would happily stay again and reccomend to others.
