We had a family high tea booked and was not disappointing at all The welcome was fabulous and we sat in the conservatory which was great for the six of us to relax and have our high tea. The food was absolutely fabulous and tasty .They managed to even look after the gluten and dairy free people of our party very well. Will certainly be back next time in London .

Loved the room design and ground floor spaces. Had a great few hours in the bar, the staff were great, breakfast also good. Staff were friendly and gave us good advice of what to do for dinner. Would recommend as the location was also superb. Enjoy

We stayed 4 days in this amazing hotel and couldn’t recommend it highly enough. The design, service and location can’t be beat. Starchy sheets, comfy beds, whimsy everywhere and all of the coziness you could imagine at your modern upscale English cousins place. Breakfast, which was included in our rate is excellent and you can order whatever you want from the menu. Afternoon tea in the skylight room was perfect. Drinks at night in the bar were excellent. We also booked bowling downstairs. We also wanted to see ABBA Voyage and had an issue with Ticketmaster delivering the tickets (as we have a US account) and Sandro who runs the concierge department went above and beyond taking care of us and securing dance box tickets and also escorted us to the venue!!!! That is service. What an amazing person to have as part of the team. All round we loved this hotel and our experience was the best. We will definitely be back. Make sure to spend time just hanging out and ordering tea in the library and imagine it is your country estate!!!

This hotel made a great base for our family vacation in London. It's right in the centre of the city, surrounded by great restaurants and shops and walking distance to most sights, but it is tucked away in a little courtyard so feels like a little oasis. The room decor is so colorful and elegant and the staff were all lovely. Breakfast was wonderful, if expensive.

I always think you can rate a hotel by the way it tries to resolve issues. Well the Ham Yard hotel totally fails in this respect. As much as it pains me to write this review, my experience today has left me no choice but to write it down. My family and I booked to use their bowling alley online and I paid full price for 4 adults as they don’t offer booking for children. However, I remember that children bowl with a discount. Two days before the booking they emailed to ask if I had any questions and I asked this very question. Tumble weed. Nothing. So I waited until the day and asked at the desk. They confirmed children bowl with a discount and the desk staff said he would follow up and get back to me. Fine. His manager then appeared and asked her. Sorry there’s nothing we can do, we can’t refund you. Next time book 2 adults and then pay for the children when you arrive. I was frankly astonished. Everywhere can process returns. The only thing stopping you is reluctance. I told her this and she said I should contact reservations. Seriously? I went upstairs and asked at reception. No there’s nothing we can do. At this point I was incredulous. We’re talking £20 and nobody can process a discretionary refund? They call somebody else. I’ve now spoken to 4 people and I’m being treated like it’s my fault. Why didn’t I book by phone I was asked, then we could have booked you in for 2 adults and 2 children? Because they explicitly tell you to book online! Unbelievable. Sorry there’s nothing we can do. It’s not even that much money, I was purely persuing it as we’d been overcharged. I told them as a regular customer of their hotel, the bowling alley and their restaurant it was really very poor that a) they couldn’t refund £20 and b) that their attitude was very ‘can’t do’. For any American readers here, if you want an example of poor British service this is it. They won’t attempt to go above and beyond to rectify any situation. Find a better hotel.

This is an exceptional hotel and an oasis in the heart of London. We are just returning on the train after a magical night away in London staying at the wonderful Ham Yard hotel and going to the theatre to see Les miserables. From the moment I got in touch with the Ham Yard they could not have been more helpful. We settled on a family suite with superb views of the little square in front. The room was exceptional and first class in every way. The bathroom was amazing we couldnt wait to all have baths with all the lovely beauty products and hot piping water and a TV in the bath. Finally a hotel with a stocked mini bar! We forgot toothbrushes which arrived in no time. The bedding was extremely soft and excellent in every way. We found the room very spacious to fit our two boys aged 11 and 13. The Breakfast was incredible and all included in our rate. The chef is clearly amazing and we loved every minute of it. There was a bowling alley and various other rooms we didnt get the chance to see as our stay was relatively brief sadly. The doorman was excellent and all the staff we met were amazing, warm and kind. Can't wait to come back!

We traveld to the city to enjoy a special occasion. On arrival we was greeted by a most excellent doorman. The moment you walk inside the relaxing ambience was just oozing a time to enjoy. The table service wine selection and food was absolutely divine we was even granted the experience with a chat to the head chef!!!!! This experience was no actually is the most wonderful experience of our lives. We whole heartedly would give it a rating of 20 bit alas we cant. Every member of staff please stepback and take a bow as you are impeccable. We will be back.

Well where to start! From the moment I checked in I knew we were going to have an amazing time here! I'm still here while writing this as extended our stay! I booked on their own website and when arrived got an early check in and an upgrade! How amazing is that ! Went to our room (315) and wow whoever designed it has done an amazing job! Everything was where it should be and the bed wow!; Had a lovely stocked mini bar,and everything you need for an amazing stay! Housekeeping truly awesome! You can see take pride in what they do! We went to the restaurant and Antonio was truly brilliant! Please praise him for us! We laughed and joked with him and to be honest every member of staff are truly amazing! Nothing is too much trouble and we were treated like kings! After our meal we went to the library and we sat with a bottle or two of bubbly and had a great time! The good and service is second to none! Yes it's not your average hotel but what you get for what you pay is our of this world! So from house keeping to reception and the bar staff and restaurant and the night porters thankyou from the bottom of our hearts! Love Craig and Benjamin We will be back for a longer stay !! Best hotel I've stayed in!! 💕

I’ve been here a couple of times in the past, a great place to meet friends or take the wife for pre drinks before going to the theatre or out to a restaurant, but…… It is quite expensive now, not being here for quite a while/in central london, I was shocked with £16 cocktail and £2 service charge whilst ordering the drink at the bar, and not tableservice which perhaps the service charge would be more relevant, so £18 for one cocktail a ‘espresso martini’, I think it’s a little OTT… Sadly, when my friend arrived and came over to sit with me it was at least 15 to 20 minutes on this Wednesday evening before a waiter came over and took his order. Consequently another 5 to 10 minutes before the drink arrived and then the same experience whilst waiting for the bill, we asked three or four waiters to no avail. Eventually the bill arrived for his drink which again was £18 Including the service charge yesterday evening, a little bit disappointing with the slow service and the inflation / inflated, prices that have affected what appears London and this hotel bar…..

We stayed for a celebration weekend and got upgraded to a suite, which was lovely. Decor is beautiful and quirky. Location is excellent and quiet, considering where it is. Staff attentive and efficient apart from room service , who had to be chased twice for a kettle and tea cups (as there were none in the room…first time I experience this in England!!). When it arrived, they forgot the tea and just brought us sugar! Eventually I went downstairs to get the teabags myself. Restaurant and bar are lovely and there is a beautiful courtyard in the back. When warm you can sit in the front courtyard as well, which was buzzing in the evening. We enjoyed our cocktails. Breakfast was great and service the five star it should be too. Bowling alley downstairs was great fun. I would go back if they put kettles in the rooms!
