Titanic Hotel Belfast

2319 Reviews

The 119-room boutique hotel is perfectly located at the heart of Belfast's Titanic Quarter. Formerly the headquarters of shipbuilders Harland & Wolff, builders of the entire White Star Line fleet, the property is now the world's most authentic Titanic hotel. Boasting an original collection of over 500 artworks, artefacts and photographs, guests are transported back to the 'Golden Age of Ocean Travel'. Preserved historic features include the magnificent dual Drawing Offices, with their three-storey high barrel-vaulted ceilings, the only surviving example of this type of shipyard architecture in the world. Bedrooms are decorated in an Art Deco style with exquisite furniture, luxurious linens and interiors that pay homage to the history of the site while offering the latest technology for both leisure and business guests. The hotel is located right next to the Titanic Belfast visitor attraction - crowned the world's leading tourist attraction in the World Travel Awards.

Pricey but well worth it for a special occasion. Beautiful 1900s decor in the style of the original Harland & Wolff offices. A step back in time to when the Titanic was built in the dock opposite. Room & corridors in period ship's style. Many works of art & original features - like a film set. Food and set menu was good and I included this in my room booking. Chose the same chicken dish for 4 of us but all chicken portions were tough. Rest of the 3 courses was lovely. Beautiful restaurant and bars in period style & staff uniforms to match. A stone's throw from the Titanic experience & the Naval history dockyards. So much within reach for a two day visit, 1 night stay. Concierge even took us on a private tour of this historic hotel building. Can't wait for our next visit! A BIG "thank you" to the excellent staff.

Lovely hotel with an amazing history. Carefully restored to keep details from its past. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Marking down as room was right next to the building hvac which droned all the time. Take note the breakfast room can get really warm.

From reception to departure, the Staff went out of their way to ensure a marvelous experience. The food in their restaurant provided the best clam chowder that my wife has ever had... and she is very knowledgeable. Accommodation were top notch as well. Add to this the excellent Titanic Museum is literally next to the Hotel.... downtown Belfast an easy pretty walk. Great memories, great management, great staff..... highly recommended!

The Titanic Hotel was brilliant from start to finish - we were travelling as a birthday treat for my little boy, who loves the Titanic. Firstly, they changed the dates on our booking when we had an issue with our flights, which we couldn’t thank them enough for. Secondly, we had a delicious afternoon tea during which the Manager, Laura, arranged for him to have a goodie bag with Titanic souvenirs and a plate with his name spelled out in chocolate- a moment for him to remember! The historic feel around the hotel, cleanliness, quality of the rooms and the food and drink all made this trip extra special - we would highly recommend.

Stunning hotel, beautiful spaces, especially Dining Room One. Fab food and a great location away from the city centre. Ross was the stand out member of staff in the bar. Attentive, engaging and personable. A lovely hotel, our bedroom lacked clothes space, somewhere to hang wet towels, that aside, wonderful. Highly recommend and would both return and recommend to others wanting a special, historical place to stay.

To Titanic Hotel, Belfast On behalf of my little boy and I, I would like to thank you all for the wonderful experience you provided last week. We are still talking about it. It was a trip to celebrate his love for all things Titanic, Britannic and Olympic. I will be honest when you go to a "themed" hotel you expect it to be gimmicky, Titanic Hotel Belfast couldn't be further from this. The hotel itself has been so tastefully and respectfully renovated to allow the users to fully benefit from both its splendor and history. Because of my love of travel and my job I have been fortunate enough to travel the world and stay at some of the most beautiful hotels. I can honestly say that The Titanic Hotel is up there with the best. Whilst my son was able to explore the artwork, replica's and historical artifacts I was able to experience fabulous food, beautiful drinks, an ambience like no other and relax - something that doesn't happen very often. But what really made the hotel so special and a memory that will stay with us a lifetime was the staff. I don't think the Management could have chosen a better group of individuals to respect the building and the significance the environment they work in. Obviously being The Titanic Hotel, all anyone really wants to talk about is Titanic which respectfully must get repetitive but the team treat every conversation like the first time, you would never know they had pointed out RMS Carpathia's clock or the tiles on the side of the bar many times already that day. Every member of staff that engaged with my little boy who is only 8 did so in such a kind and supportive/encouraging way. He left the hotel feeling thoroughly spoilt and part of a special group of people who like him love the history of Titanic and its beauty. We 100% will be back. Thank you.

The whole experience from start to finish was a delight. From reception staff through to waiting staff and definitely the housekeeping staff. All great and gave us a wonderful experience. Beds were the most comfortable we've slept in, in all the hotels we've stayed in. We ate and drank in hotel both nights. Very pleasant staff in restaurants and bars as well. There was nothing we could fault about the place.

First the good stuff: Location is perfect if you’re visiting the titanic museum. The building itself is steeped in history and almost part of the titanic experience, having been the offices of Harland and Wolff. Check in was simple and the staff were friendly. The room was nice and the bed was comfortable. Great view of the two cranes! The service in the Wolff grille was great. Very attentive and friendly. Food was good. Sadly let down by two major issues: The service in the drawing room bar was awful. Beyond bad. Waited for over 20 mins to get served, drinks took another 30 mins to arrive. After an hour and a half we gave up trying to order another round. The staff were rude and dismissive. The biggest turn off though was at dinner. There is a window into the kitchen from the Wolff grille restaurant. I was facing the kitchen and throughout the entire meal the guy doing deserts was constantly eating what looked like chips, his fingers were in his mouth and he was licking them all the time. It really put me off my food. I couldn’t face desert. On top of this, the waiting staff kept eating pasta when then went into the kitchen. It was with a fork, not fingers but it still doesn’t give a good impression. If you’re going to have a window into the kitchen, the staff need to be a bit more aware of food hygiene. It’s such a shame as the hotel could be amazing, but more staff training and better management is desperately needed to warrant the high cost of this hotel. Sadly I won’t be staying again.

Wonderful hotel. We booked a 3 nights for 2 deal and were given an Executive Room which was very nice indeed. Spacious, big bed, floor to ceiling windows. Very busy at breakfast even in February. Didn’t try the main restaurant but cocktails in the Drawing Room 2 were good.

Lovely hotel with great views - our room (231) overlooked the Titanic Experience and the docks with dual aspect windows so it was very light and lots to observe. No complaints at all apart from slow service to be seated in the Harland Bar as we wanted food. We were left just standing with staff walking past us, not even acknowledging that we were there - perhaps a smile/nod of acknowledgment would have helped the feeling of being ignored. (We observed the same thing happening to 2 groups of people after us so it was not an isolated incident.) Breakfast was good with a nice choice and special requests to the kitchen were delivered quickly. Staff seemed very friendly and the hotel is extremely clean and well maintained.
