Show more...This was an amazing hotel in the heart of city, surrounded by wholesome food places. Best part was being near to bus and train stations. The hotel provided us all the services and the staff alongside was pretty helpful. Moreover, the breakfast was quite delicious and had a great variety.
Show more...The hotel and staff are second to no one.. Lene the restaurant worker treated us like family. The food is very good and the people there are very respectful. Social time was awesome at the bar, where they treat e eryone with respect. Lene went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable.
Show more...Comfortable, clean rooms in a great city centre location. We didn’t have breakfast here as we wanted to try a few eateries in the city. The location was super. We walked everywhere except to the Titanic as it was raining!!! Staff were friendly and helpful.
Show more...The staff at the reception desk was very helpful, in particular when it came to arranging transportation around the city for a large group of people. Special mention in this regard goes to Alice, who made an extra effort to work with our travel plans.
Show more...Would not normally bother reviewing a Holiday Inn, but the staff all deserve a shout out for being so pleasant, helpful and friendly. Great location easy walk into town with easy access to the city centre pub, restaurants and the Titanic Museum.
Show more...Really lovely modern and comfortable hotel. Room was really clean and comfortable. We arrived late so ate at the bar. The late night food options are a bit basic, think the pizza could be improved upon but does the job. Barman Hayden looked after us and was professionalism personified. Genuinely friendly and attentive, a huge asset to any customer facing position.
Show more...Great location so near Great Victoria St Station. The Hotel has a bright and colourful entrance and the stff were very welcoming. Cliodhna the receptionist was so kind and helpful gave us map of the city and pointed out the must see attractions in her city. The room was nice with a very comfortable king bed. The breakfast was self-service and had all you could want for breakfast. We had a lovely stay will recommend to friends and family.
Show more...From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, We were treated so good. Staff are very friendly and always on hand to help. Anyway arrived and checked in. Got the 8th floor (members room) I was so happy as I do book often through IHG and collect points towards rewards. The room was beautiful. Iron & ironing board in the room and also a coffee machine with pods & kettle with t bags/ coffee sugar & milk. Beds were very comfortable and I could have just stayed in bed the few days we were here. In fact I had to try push my daughter to get out of bed. I went downstairs for her Starbucks( another thing in this hotel) and she was able to get up. Lifts to all floors or if your fit you can walk up the stairs. There’s also a gym but I didn’t use it. The room also had a bath/shower with Dove shampoo/ conditioner/ body wash and body cream.I absolutely loved this as I use it at home. Breakfast was either a continental or a hot one. There is a charge but it’s so worth paying for. Everyone in this hotel is extremely friendly. I have been here quite a few times and highly recommend if you’re visiting Belfast. The shopping center is about a 15 min walk but always taxis about to call if you can’t manage it. I slow walked and took in the scenery. Did book a few taxis and arrived within minutes. The hotel can also call you a cab. Cannot fault this place, Can only praise everyone from the receptionists one who was called Alice who checked us in. To the other lady who put our cases in a safe room until we came back. Another thing they can do for you. Will definitely book for this place again.
Show more...The rooms were comfortable, clean and exactly what you would want and expect. Curtains make the room really dark, showers are lovely, beds very comfy etc. Breakfast was very nice, varied, and was topped up regularly. There were lots of comfy sofas in the lobby where people could hang out, as well as a bar and cafe where you can order any Starbucks drink. But the absolute stand-out aspect of the hotel were the staff. We were travelling with a large group of 35 Jewish young people with various specific religious needs such as dietary requirements and keeping the Sabbath according to Jewish tradition. In practice, this meant that some students needed help getting back into their rooms on the Sabbath as they couldn't use electricity. The staff very kindly were able to swipe their cards for them so they could return to their rooms. They also kept the automatic doors open when we returned from dinner. For people unfamiliar with our religious traditions, these might have seemed like strange requests, but they meant that we were able to enjoy a really comfortable and easy stay in keeping with our customs. At every single turn, the staff helped ensure that these needs were met, and never once made us feel like we were too much hassle or annoying. Every request was met with a smile and a lot of effort to help us. This made us feel so welcome and so accommodated. We could not possibly have asked for lovelier staff. Just one example of the staff being kind and helpful: lots of the young people wanted to sit together at breakfast and were sitting squashed together around one table. The staff on duty (without being asked) brought more tables round so we could all sit comfortably, and brought more cutlery and napkins for everyone. I wish I could remember all the names of the staff because honestly they were all fantastic, but I do remember Nicolle on reception who was unbelievably helpful, Pooja who helped us all check in, Inga who helped meet all of our food requirements, Tony the DM who was also fantastic, and the security guard who made us all feel really safe. I would recommend staying here to anyone, but especially if you are a Jewish group, or a group with other specific needs, you will feel welcome and looked after here.
