Fly Laputa

One of the most thrilling experiences I’ve ever had. The team is like a brotherly gang which is so cool and the filming they make is outta this world. If it’s your first time flying then I recommend you take the video package £20 extra. If it’s your second time flying with them then I would suggest you don’t take the filming as it takes a little bit of the joy of the actual flight.
But I highly recommend the experience with those cool guys

We booked Laputa through an agent for our first ever paragliding experience. Was a great day and I fully recommend to anyone in the area to do it! My only two issues are:
1: the bus journey up mount babadag was frightening to say the least. The driver takes corners with no barriers at a ridiculous speed, the suspension on the van didn’t feel safe at all. Slow down!
2: the photos and videos you receive after are quite expensive at 200TL and I was quite annoyed that you must pay that in cash. The ATMs charge a fee here which is not good for me and apart from tax avoidance I can’t understand why the company can’t take card payments for the photos when they have a card machine?!

Oh what an amazing experience.
OK so the drive up wasn't for the faint-hearted. A stuffy, hot minibus speeding up the side of a mountain was scary. But OMG it was worth it!
The view from the top was breathtaking. While waiting for others to take off on their flights my pilot "Honda" chatted and was very friendly and reassuring.
Once we were underway I couldn't get over how amazing paragliding was. Honda was a great pilot and the views were so amazing. The flight lasted about 30 minutes.
I'd paid extra for photos and videos(about £20) and I'm so glad I did, over 100 including some 360 degree videos. Honda transferred these to my phone in about 5 minutes after the flight.
One of the best experiences I've ever had. I'm hooked! Can't wait to go again and it will be with Fly Laputa.

We had great times during tandem paragliding . Laputa has talented pilots who have more than 10.000 hour flight experience. Especially pilots Sedat Demir, Yusuf Okuyucu and Kenneth Osman have master degree during both takeoff and landing. Well, the good and friendly vibes started from Laputa's office car park even before climbing up to the top of the mountain.
the pilots came and introduced themselves professionally, in the way up to the top they played nice music and everybody got relaxed (those who were a little afraid) .

the view from the starting stop was breathtaking, the pilots sat us up with all the equipment quickly and explained how things work and made sure everybody is comfortable to have one of the most beautiful experiences ever.

I did the paragliding with a pilot called Ferdal who was so friendly and professional!
he filmed the whole experience and left me with a gallery full of amazing pictures and videos loaded directly to my phone.

will do it again when i visit next!

10 of us very excited for paragliding however whether was cloudy so we had to wait, we were happy with this so that we could get the best view. Waited about 2 hours for the clouds to clear, again there were lovely facilities so not a problem. All the gliders were having food and drink so with no sign of the weather improving, we all ordered food. Less than 5 minutes later, with no warning, we were being rushed to paraglide with no sign of our food. The waiter was lovely and told us the paragliders could wait. They were in such a rush, the food was able to be wrapped up for us to have at the bottom - brilliant!! However one of the gliders started to eat our food that we were told we had no time to eat!! So we were rushed and one meal down. One pilot decided to leave and not let us know so one person from the party was left without a pilot, while everyone else had already left!! So a 16 year old boy left on his own, when the other 9 had gone. The glide itself was brilliant, with photos. We did paragliding in 2016 last time we were in Ölüdeniz, our photos were included. The pilots asked for our phones to transfer the photos on, which looked fab. After they’d already transferred everything and then asked for 200 lira for the photos!! We would happily have paid for them but we were not told anything and then pressured into handing over the money. Cash only payment, which we didn’t have enough for 10, so we’re followed to the cash machine. This wasn’t working so now able to pay with card but commission. Would not recommend, please use another company!!

It's fantastic experience which is difficult to explain you just need to do it and experience yourself. Because it wasn't our first time we went for sunset flight and it was a great decision. Amazing views that takes your breath away. Our pilots were very good and professional ( please have a look on the photos for the names) You feel safe, comfortable and well looked after. Sunset flight with great company and music. What else you need. After the flight you receive certificate and you can buy photos and videos worth every penny.

The paragliding experience was amazing. My wife and I went with Sedat and Yusuf. Both of them were very respectful and calmed our nerves before the flight. During the flight, Sedat was really fun and made some adventurous twists and turn as per my wish, and I could see his 15 years of experience right there. Will definitely book another flight with him if I go back. This experience was great value for money. Afterwards, he even helped us with navigation of the Turkish ATM

I chose to do my paraglide with Fly Laputa which was just along from the hotel I stayed in and what a great choice it was. Pilot Bibi was very nice and professional,made me feel very at ease, at no point did I ever feel unsafe or uneasy. What a great experience, the views are absolutely outstanding, I even had a wee go at flying the parachute wow. Cost was £65 for the flight and £35 for the videos and pictures and that 35 goes direct to the pilot. All pics are transferred to your phone in the office after your flight, but that is optional. You will be up in the sky for around 30 min if it is a nice wee gentle flight , less time if you are partaking in tricks.
I thoroughly recommend this company if you wish to paraglide, can’t wait till I’m back to have another go, do some tricks next time 😊

It was one of the best adventures of my life! The driver carefully picked me up from the hotel. My pilot Sedat was very attentive and professional, guided me during the flight and advised what to do during photo shootings and made amazing videos and images!
